What will give me better results?

I want to start losing weight for the summer, and do some toning up. I have a list of moves (arms, legs, butt, abs) and about four moves for each part. The list suggests each workout you do all the moves for one body part, three times a week (each day a different part). I was just wondering if that makes sense, or should I do each workout moves from each part?

By the way, I know this is easy, bit you have to start somewhere

Everyone has to start somewhere and as long as YOU don't find it easy, then its not too easy!

Whats on the list and where did you get it?

abs: knee pull, strech lift, "the reach, twist and quiver", heel click
arms: burn out, "raise the roof", "drive the car"
butt: curtsies. step downs, woodchops, squat jumps
legs: traveling lunge, reverse kick, calf raise, side squat

I got this from my friend a while ago, so I' not sure the source, I do know it's meant for teenagers

If you want to "tone up" hit the gym and lift some heavy weights. Like, heavy. Big compound lifts will help melt the fat away, and then things like squats, shoulder presses, bicep curls etc will help shape up the specific parts of your body, and you can focus on an area a day (eg upper body, lower body, core) or do what you feel like - just make sure you give muscles time to recover!

A mistake a lot of people make with toning up is they think they'll get bulky if they lift heavy weights, so just do a million reps of really light weights, which is good for endurance but not for changing your body shape.

So yeah, best results for toning up is to lift heavy weights and do a range of exercises that target big muscles as well as little ones (:
