What have you done today to make you feel proud?

Just name one (or more) thing you have done today that made you feel proud of yourself

It's 11 PM, I had to study for a huge history test tommrrow, but I was feeling bad because I haven't been on my elliptical for a long time, so I decided to study while I was doing it! planned on doing 15 minutes, just so I can feel like I did something, but ended up doing it at a high intensity, and then another 5 minutes at an even higher intensity, just because I wanted a round number on the miles...

What about you?

This is weird, as the same time last nigh I was singing the song by M People, which is the same lyrics as the title of your thread.

Today I microchipped my first two rabbits

Nothing health wise as I sucked today

Went for my first "for fun" run. Just 1 mile but I have never done a run without it being part of an exercise class.

  • I took a 3.3 mile walk with my hubby and made some homemade veggie-packed spaghetti sauce, some for fridge and some for freezer.

Multi-tasking: Working on a research paper, exercising in between writing breaks! Quite an accomplishment, as I get distracted easily & procrastinate a LOT.

HAHA! Yeah, it was my grandmother's recipe, and she passed away last year, so I'm doing this so I can have some good memories instead of just missing her all day long. My husband approves of this therapeutic gesture quite a bit as he is already salivating over the batter.

I added an extension to my cycling route today, knowing that there is a fairly intense hill about 1 mile in. I hammered that hill like nobody's business!

I went to the gym this morning. I was the only one there because it is Mothers Day. I knew I was going to have a bbq tonight with cake and ice cream and so i wanted to get a good start to my day.

I am proud that I was the only one there. My mothers day present to me!

I promised myself that for Mother's Day I would FINALLY run my 5k on the treadmill and I DID!!!! It's the furthest I've ran and I could not be more proud of giving that gift to myself!! My hubby was there the last 1/2 mile beside me cheering me on. It was an awesome feeling!!!
