okay, this might sound dumb but i wanted to clarify. so let's say you clean bulk ( 100-300 over maintenece) for 5-6 months at 20% body fat. after the bulk, lets say you gained 6lbs muscle 11 pounds fat. serious water retention will not go away

Should my net calories be my bmr ? Confused
So I am 5'7, female and 130 Ish pounds. My bmr is 1450 ISh. I've been eating 1600 calories a day (around there sometimes a little more a little less) so when I exercise and burn 2-400 calories which brings my net from 1600-400= 1200 Net calories. under calorie goal mfp says weight gain
So my goal was 1400 but I wasn't losing much so I increased to 1800 but usually eat around 1700 or exercise and have my net around 1650 but only a few times a week. Is my goal too high?
