Clean eating - what does it mean to YOU! (new)
Hi everyone, I'm new to the group. In the last couple years, my eating habits changed a lot but could be better. We try to eat lots organic, fruit, veggies, whole grains, etc. I've been browsing the group and I wondered....what does "clean eating" mean to you personally? I look forward to getting to know everyone and make…

NROLFW "as is" or heavy?
Hi Ladies, I just started NROLFW Stage 1 (next 3 WO B) . I keep reading about lifting heavy. The workouts in the first Stage range between 15-8 reps per set so not really heavy. While I never deadlifted or squatted on the rack, I did resistance training before (bodyweight and 30DS with heavy weights (6 reps) until they…

Any Bodybugg wearers?
I just started lifting few weeks ago and while I know that the Bodybugg is not very reliable when it comes to lifting, I noticed something interesting. My BB burn is skyrocketing on lifting days and I burn at least 1 additional calorie per minute for several hours. Has anyone else noticed it?

Anyone else starting this weekend? Want to team up?
I will be starting my second round on Saturday. It's been a while since I completed my first round. My plan is to eat the recommended amount to give my body the energy it needs. I would love a buddy who's also starting and following the recommendations (please no 1200 cal).

New workout routine - gaining inches on deficit
I started a new workout routine after couple week long break. Since then I've been gaining even more inches (not even talking weight here). Is this common? From my understanding, water retention can mask fat loss in the beginning stages of a new workout. Has anyone experienced a gain in inches at the beginning of a new…

Keeping a 300 cal deficit?
I just completed a 8 week reset. From reading the boards, it looks like people approach the cut differently. I'm trying to find out the best option for me and lean towards keeping a 300 cal deficit (whether I burn 2500 cal or 1900 cal). Is anyone cutting this particular way?

Consistency during reset
I remember reading about it somewhere but I can't find it now. How important is consistency during reset? How bad is it if you go OVER your TDEE? Is it just as bad as staying under?

What did the "reset" teach you?
I'm now in my second week of the reset. Since I started it, I have a hard time controlling what I eat. Making healthy food choices ALL.THE.TIME feels like an impossible task. I had to cut down on veggies and fruit to get in all the calories (especially from protein). I more often grab "junky" stuff to get to TDEE and then…

Feeling so discouraged, frustrated and fat....
I woke up this morning and been bowling my eyes out after stepping on the scale. Told DH that I was done with all of "this". This is actually my status update on MFP from this morning: "VERY frustrated! Weight before Insanity: 162.4, weight after Insanity: 164.7, weight after not being able to work out for couple of weeks:…

HIIT and carb intake question
After researching the Paleo & Primal Diet for last couple days, my husband and I are tempted to give it a shot. I tried low carb before (Atkins & South Beach Diet) and never lasted long because I wasn't doing well with the low carb intake. I'm reading that 50-100 carbs per day is what I should be shooting for. Is the…

Macros - Are you 100% there?
How often 7 out of 7 days per week do you hit your macros goal 100%? I often have days where I get in 1-3% -\+. Is there a way to to check the circle in other members diaries? I'm curious :)

Insanity?
I see most of you are doing weight training. Is there anyone else here who's doing Insanity or similar? Or am I the only one?

I am SO boated! About to pop!
OMGoodness, I didn't know one can bloat up this much. It's not even this extreme during TOM and I feel like it's getting worst day by day. My ring sits so tight, I can't even move it (was lose couple days ago). My clothes that were lose are very snug and if I blow up just a little bit more, I will have to take out a larger…

Let's become friends
I hope it's ok to post this. :blushing: I would love some more friends from this group. I love browsing diaries and get some inspiration. My diary is open as well to help me keep accountable.
