I'm looking for ideas too so bump

Definitely heavy lifting. I started being serious about heavy lifting in August last year and lost a nice amount of fat while putting on 5 lbs of LBM. My nutrition hasn't been greatest in the last three months. My fat loss would have been greater for sure. Upping weights is really challenging since I'm eating in a deficit…

Awesome changes!

Got you :) Feel free to add me too. I could use some more SL in my feed :)

I don't know your stats but I completed Insanity 2.5 times and know that 1300 cal won't be enough for most people.

I guess people are afraid to speak up. Some do. Some just quietly leave. People in general tend to point with fingers claiming that we "did it wrong". It's a great group and I'm friends with many members. It also works for many many people but we are all individuals with some type of history. I've been on LCD on and off…

That's a lot of hotties in one thread!!!

I did a "metabolism reset" last year and followed online calculators as well as Bodybugg numbers. As a result I gained 20 lbs and almost 2 clothing sizes. I started cutting and came to the conclusion that my TDEE is between 1700-1800. I stuck with the whole thing for 10 months and started getting depressed before I decided…

Definitely not in month 2 ;) This is my second round but because I completed the first round months ago, I'm basically starting over. I'm now on month 2. Breaks are good. You see people on the videos take breaks as well and those are professionals and graduates. If you push yourself hard, you will more or likely need those…

Just started month 2. Feel free to add me. Need more insane friends :) Let me know where you saw me because I deny all requests without a message.

I had DH record me squat today and noticed that I had some butt winking going on. I'm not sure if it looks like that because I have a big butt or if it's truly butt winking. I'm going to go back to lower weight and see how that works.

I would call that independent...

LOVE this thread!

I thought I posted it but I guess I didn't. How long are you supposed to rest between reps?

MFP calculations require to eat back workout calories.

This is something you should discuss with your provider.

We pay $58 for a family membership at the YMCA. Includes childcare

Yep. Looked at the ingredients list before buying.

It would be good to add the location as well. Cost of living varies greatly. We spend 600-800 for food and household/bathroom stuff/pet for a family of 3 in South California. This includes some organic foods (apples, potatoes, celery, eggs mostly), lots of fresh/frozen veggies and fruit, legumes, frozen chicken/turkey,…

Your either hate it or you love it. I'm half way though the first book and love it.

Until my family moved to SoCal, everything was cheaper and especially healthy food. Now "healthy" kills our budget. I miss Aldi and Lidle in Germany. We would spend maybe 200 for the entire month.

Just found this. http://www.quitsmokingsupport.com/avoidgainingweight.htm

Years ago, I read that the body would burn additional 300 cal of so trying to deal with the toxins. Don't quote me though. It's been a long time.

Good job girlie :drinker:

No, it doesn't mean "eat more & exercise harder". "Eat more" means eat more ;) What activity level did you pick for your calculations? If you have been eating 1350 cal or less AND you are NOT eating back your exercise calories, your body is holding on to everything.

How long have you had your fitbit? Do you have data for maybe a month or two? If so, you can get your average and see if that works.
-
It can be really hard to find someone who's knowledgeable with this condition. Most providers will look at you like you are crazy.

I lived on HI, in CO and CA. Hawaii (Oahu): People are very laid back. Loved the scenery and the ocean (nicely warm). Weather great pretty much all year around. They have a rain season. When I lived there, it rained for a month straight but it didn't bother me personally. You can save on some water and shower outside…

I have PMDD and 5HTP has been helping me with the mood swings. I'm also taking fish oil and Vit B complex. I think Hyland's has a blend specifically for PMS.

Next time you need to be more careful. Four year old girls are dangerous creatures and may steal something from you.
