No motivation after knee surgery... help :(
I'll start by getting right to the point. I'm the most overweight I've ever been in my life. I'm also the most depressed. Prior to where I am now I was doing crossfit 2-3x a week and walking on my treadmill 1-2x a week. I have terrible eating habits and I think I'm addicted to food. I chronically overeat and eat WAY too…

Crossfit for weight loss?????
I went to crossfit while I was in college, it was convenient and I LOVED IT, it was my type of workout. For some reason after about 6 months of crossfit I quit thinking my body hadnt changed at all, but looking back it changed a lot. I have recently gained weight, I'm a 160 to 165lb 5'5'' female and am looking to get down…

A good workout/diet plan that's essentially mapped out?
So from experience I know I lose weight best when I have a solid plan mapped out of what to do, otherwise I won't complete hard workouts by myself at the gym... it makes me hold myself accountable. I was doing the muffintopless challenge, but I'm not getting results as fast as I wanted... so then i gave up and have gone…

0 Calorie cooking sprays? Good or bad?
So of course MOST of us use something to cook, or at least something to keep it from sticking to the pan. Today at the store I bought Crisco brand cooking spray that is butter flavored. I was delighted to see it was 0 calories. Now, since MFP is a calorie counting app I immediately was like JACKPOT!!! But... is it still…

Really really need some motivation or ideas at this point.
I am really upset right now, almost in tears. I started a REAL journey on Dec. 1st. I decided no more excuses, no more being lazy and no more fast food all the time.. It's time to get healthy. I can say that since then there has been a few cheat days, mostly christmas time and when my boyfriend came to visit, so you can…

Finally put my scale away but getting frustrated!?
So I have been eating pretty strict for the past two and a half weeks with the exception of 3 days when my boyfriend came to visit me and we ate whatever we wanted. I am getting super frustrated because I am seeing little to no weight loss. I know half the problem is that I weigh myself like 5 times a day and I get mad…

Like for instance today I am way under my calorie goal but way over my protein goal because I am trying to eat the right things (chicken breast, etc) Do you think this is a problem? Will this inhibit my weight loss?

I lost 1lb in two days of just eating 1200 calories?
I wasn't expecting to lose any weight yet. I lost one maybe even two pounds by just sticking to my calorie goal in two days, not even exercising involved. Is this okay?

And here is why---I feel like over the years I have tried just about anything to get thin, but I never stick with it, and it's because after like a month I have this epiphany that I am not even fat. This is because i'm 5'5'' around 150 lbs and I am not FAT by any…

22 yr old girl in Eugene, OR
So I have been using myfitnesspal for quite some time, like months, and I have always really liked it. However, I find myself going through phases where I used it A LOT and then I totally forget about logging my calories. The problem is the times I don't log is when I am doing poorly, and sometimes I will log when I do…
