Body media FIT or Fitbit?
I'm wondering which of these I would like better. I lift heavy 2-3 times a week, and throw in some cardio 2, sometimes 3, times a week. Any thoughts? Do you prefer one over the other?

Do you prefer the gym or home for workouts?
I really do like the equipment that's available at the gym, but I also really like working out at home. I like the quiet and privacy. I bought a three week trial to the gym. I have two weeks left. I'm not sure what I'll do after that. Is there anyone else who just really prefers to workout at home?

Tired. Oh so tired.
I'm in Stage 1, workouts 4. On the evenings after I lift, and for the entire next day, I'm am so tired. As in, crawl in bed and sleep tired. Although, I don't sleep super great. (That is pretty normal. I haven't slept great in years.) I am getting no exercise on nonlift days, because I'm just exhausted. I typically eat…

Let's talk squats for a minute
Why is there so much conflicting info and advice about squats? One thing says never go all the way down, you'll kill your knees. Other things say you have to all the way down? I read things about how smith machines are evil, yet that's what my trainer put me on. What the heck? So let's say I'm squatting. If I am back on my…

The Stampede Mud Run
It is in Louisville in May. I REALLY want to do it. I don't run (because of back issues), but I can walk it and do most of the obstacles. You are allowed to skip the ones you can't do, you just can't "win" if you do that. I'm alright with not winning. I just want to do it. Any advice on preparing for it? Anyone else…

Just started...question
Hi! Today I did the first workout of stage one, for the very first time. It went petty well. I'm having a hard time figuring out the right height/angle for me to successfully do push ups. I've had a wrist/tendon injury that I'm being careful not to reinjure. The main thing I wanted to ask about was the prone jackknife. I…

Changes...
The first part of this month I decided to start focusing on strength training, getting fit, and eating enough. I was getting no where trying to eat super low-cal and doing intense cardio. The scale hasn't changed much, maybe down a pound, although this month was the first time in I don't know how many years I didn't gain…

Friends
Hi everyone. I have a few friends here on MFP, all of them are people I know from somewhere else. The only problem is all of them are set at about 1200 cal. Many of them do heavy-duty cardio to burn lots of cals so they can eat more. Some of them don't exercise at all. And some of those are averaging about 900 net a day,…

What are some of your favorite protein mixes? I would love to find one that tastes good and isn't chalky.

What do you eat?
After planning out my meals and snacks for the day, I still have 800 calories I need to eat. I know I could easily find ways to eat them, but eating pie or cookies to get calories seems, well, wrong. Yeah, I know I could eat some nuts, cheese, fruit, but honestly, I can only snack on the same things so much before I just…
