quitting smoking... "Healthy" candy... lollipops...
So I'm in the midst of quitting smoking, and I don't really want to use nicotine gum/candy/patch/vape/whatever to do so. So I'm thinking lollipops or hard candy of some kind. I've seen organic cane sugar pops and xylitol/sugar alcohol pops and so on. I'd rather no artificial sweeteners. Any suggestions? Calories is…

What strength-training/weight-lifting apps integrate with MFP?
As asked in the title. There's plenty of cardio and running apps, but I can't find one for strength-training.

Fitbit/HealthKit/MFP/Whatever... forgot my Fitbit.
So I put my Fitbit on the charger this morning and forgot it. Apple Health is recording all of my steps, but for some reason it's not syncing to MFP (and it looks like it hasn't for over a month, but I never really go past it's dashboard page to see that), although settings are all set to allow reading and writing of data.…

Boston guy, reintroducing himself.
Hi! I joined several years ago, was here for awhile, did well for awhile, and fell off again. Went from 240 to 173 and back up to about 212 in about five years. About the end of last November I decided enough was enough. Lost 35lbs since and I'm back down to about 176. Recording (almost) every calorie. Got my Fitbit, my…

FitBit + MyFitnessPal - should I still log exercise?
Since Fitbit is an activity tracker, and it already logs calories lost and then transfers the information to MFP - should I still log my treadmill activity on MFP as exercise? I don't want to inadvertently "cheat" by doubling up on calories lost.

KokoFit?
good morning people. so i'm looking for a gym to go to during my lunch break at work, this is the closest one and would give me plenty of time during my hour lunch break. but it's expensive. and it seems... weird. you're on one machine the whole time and it has an LCD screen that walks you through your workouts. has…

under desk bike
so i got an exercise bike for under my desk at work, and while my desk is too short for it to be comfortable without pushing my chair way out, it's kind of cool. i have a job where i can shut my office door as i please and not be disturbed, so no big deal. i just can't really "work" while using it. watching netflix or hulu…

best yogurt??
so i usually get dannon light&fit, simply because it seems to be the least amount of calories per ounce (80cal/6oz). i do like it, but i'm thinking maybe it's got too many unnatural sweeteners. any suggestions?

logging food from restaurants...
...that do not publicize their nutrtional stats... how would i manage this? i went to the halfway cafe today and got a mediterranean wrap with grilled chicken. and i'm trying to pretend i didn't eat the fries, but i did. so now i want to log it. but i don't know how. i did send them an email asking for nutrition info. i'm…

how can i be nosey and look at peoples diaries?
i want to see what you all are eating to get ideas for myself! but i can't find diaries unless they're posted on my home page and i'm your friend. i'd also love for people to look at my diary and tell me where i could improve or give suggestions.

pedometer - is there an app for that?
i have one, called "accupedo", it seems pretty cool, calculates calories burned and steps and distance and so on, but i just downloaded it this morning and haven't had much time to use it yet. do these things work? are they accurate? are there better ones out there? i figure i've got this phone with all these sensors and…

calculate regular daily burned calories
good morning all! so i work in an office, but i'm the RMA department, so i handle all incoming and outgoing shipments. as far as office people go, my job is the most "strenuous". most days i'm running (or maybe walking briskly?) between rooms and putting boxes together and lifting heavyish (30lb-60lb) items. is there a way…

new guy...
good morning! so yeah, here to get some tips on getting healthy and staying there. i was a big boy before, 240lbs - and i'm only 5'7" on a good hair day. i'm down to 176lbs, but mainly because i quit drinking a 30 pack of coors light a day (haha, "light", those jokers over at the beer factory really had me going for…
