Hip Flexors vs Abs
Whenever I do ab workouts, I feel them in my hip flexors and hardly anything in my abs. I had my first baby almost 9 months ago, and my core is the weakest it's ever been (can't do a full sit-up and have a hard time tightening my stomach for very long). What can I do to target my abs and keep my hip flexors from…

What is my body shape?
I'm not sure if I'm a pear or an hourglass or an overweight carrot/rectangle shape. I'm down around 40 lbs and have a ways to go still, but I would love to know what my body type is. I'm 5'8" in case that matters. What would you consider me? Hips: 50" Waist: 44" (at belly button-smallest part of my waist is 40") Low waist:…

Calculating Goals for Pregnancy
Hi everyone. I'm currently pregnant with my first child and I want to be sure that I'm eating enough (but not too much) and that I'm also getting enough of all of the nutrients that I need for a healthy pregnancy. There isn't a pregnancy setting in MFP, so I need to manually figure out my settings. I'm currently 17 weeks…

Busy Teacher In Need of Advice/Support
I'm a first year first grade teacher, and I usually work from 6am until 5pm Mon-Fri. I speed eat during my lunch break because I don't have much time to eat after dropping the kids off and I have to monitor the lunchroom every other day. After school, I'm exhausted. It takes everything in me to stay awake until my husband…

Calorie Question
I used TDEE -20% to set my calorie goal to 1597. I have a fitbit that is connected to my MFP account to track calories out. My question is, should I try to eat my exercise calories back in order to net 1597, or should I not worry about eating them back unless my net is under 1200?

I lost a lot of weight over the past couple of years. I went from 215 to 160 from running half marathons and tracking what I ate. I still had weight to lose, but I was getting there. Motivation
Hi everyone-I'm new to the group. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 14. My doctor put me on Metformin when I was 19, but I had to stop taking it because it caused me to have a pancreatitis attack. I've struggled with my weight ever since puberty. My highest was 215, I went down to the 160s by exercising a TON, and since…
