grannymayoz (and any other Aussies)
I would start weighing everything from Woolies (for those not in OZ, think Kroger, Giant, Safeway in the US). First the tuna cans were 1/2 weight, now every bag of frozen veggies I have gotten (the Select brand) had been 50 to 60 g short. and last week the almonds and other bagged nuts were all out of stock. Today they had…

Saw the dietician today ...
I was tired of gaining and losing the same grams all month. My numbers all said I should have lost close to 4 kg, not gain and lose, gain and lose 300g. Math and Data people, Math and Data! They use an InBody 720 body Composition machine (I used it last month) and today I have lost 1.4 kg in 30 days. Certainly nothing to…

Large Spring Roll?
I don't post here often, but if I was to have, say a large spring roll from the fish and chip shop, what would I log that as?

I'm so very confused about cardio
I've been told by trainers and coaches (I was a figure skater and off-shore sailor) that the only thing that burns fat from a females abs in cardio. Everything I've been reading for the past few weeks has been telling me that cardio is bad. My primary source of exercise is walking the dogs about a mile a day (24-30…

FitBit and MapMyWalk only syncs in one direction?
I keep coming across the info that FitBit and MapMyFitness programs can be synced. I have MapMyWalk synced with my Charge HR. I have also read on the FitBit help pages that FB will sync to MMW, but MMW won't import into FB? So If I forget my FB, but use my phone, it won't import to FB. Does that seem possible that a synce…

The importance of weighing all the foods.
My single serve can of tuna (cheaper /kg that big cans) says a serving is: 1 serve per package serving size (drained weight) - is 61g (95g can). Every can this week has weighed in at 35g drained. And yes, I'll be firing off an email to the company right after lunch ...

I'm not sure who posted this link ...
http://www.flexibleketogenic.com/ to the Keto calculator, but it is great. If nothing else, it validates my test strips. TMI - When the number on the site is higher, my strips are darker. This makes it much easier to plan meals now that I can see I'm getting enough to stay in Ketosis!

Entering Recipe serving size?
I am 99% sure that , when entering a custom recipe, you used to be able to say how much a serving was instead of just how many servings. So I would weigh my whole batch of soup, say each serve was 1g, weigh the portion I was about to have and then in the diary say that I had 150 servings Has that gone away?

Heat and Humidity effecting weight loss?
Can the outside temp/humidity be stalling my weight loss? It is surface of the sun hot right now (on Sunday it was 41 C). I can open up my diary if anyone wants to see it, but my carbs are under 50, my Protein usually runs high and I use MFP to make sure I'm eating enough. While I do weigh myself I concentrate on the…

Int'l Food labels v. Net Cabs
Hi all, I'm new to this forum, but not low carb, but I have a somewhat unique question. In the US I am used to subtracting the Fiber from the Cabs to get the Net Carbs. Here in Australia the Carbs and Fiber are already split out, so no math necessary. The problem comes in with the food database. Does anyone know if the…
