Does anyone here not drink liquids with meals to help digestion? Just curious if it helps with gerd or other issues.

Sodium
Is water retention weight caused by sodium intake 'real' weight gain? And is there a limit on how much excess water weight your body can hold? I would think at some point if your sodium intake leveled off then so would your body's water weight.

Recovery Meal
I've been trying to do a scoop of whey in 8 ounces of skim milk after workouts. That sound ok? There is just so much information out there and a lot of it contradictory. I hear chocolate milk is one of the better things you can do and figured this should be a good substitute. Thanks :drinker:

I woke up today (an NSV in itself :-)) and I was thinking about my day. Thinking I had an 'easy' 2 mile run scheduled for the day. Until recently I would have never, ever thought I would consider two miles to be easy but I do now. And usually it is. YAY!

My NSV

Pre and Post Workout Meals
I do mostly cardio but also a couple days of strength training too. I like to run about an hour after a meal, usually oatmeal and eggs but I find myself still full after a workout and I don't really want to eat if I am full. All the literature though advises a post workout recovery meal with some quick proteins and carbs…
