New Oly checks Pyrros Dimas style!
I filmed these after doing squats, presses and deadlifts. I stalled on my OHP at 120 pounds, but I did the most reps ever at 4 1/2. Close, but no cigar. 120 seems to be where I consistently stall on my OHP. I think I may have sprained my shoulder which may have made it more difficult to do these lifts. Here they are.…

Is anyone here a green thumb? I would like your ideas.
I have a rectangular shaped patch of dirt in my front yard between the grass and front porch and would like to plant something there. Preferably something that lasts year round and is not very common. Does anyone have any ideas?

I just barely found out about these. What this is is a Sots press; It's a press from the bottom of a front squat position. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tukae-BTRuU They were invented by Olympic Weightlifter Victor Sots who did these in order to improve his power jerk. Which he was one of the first to do. :smile:

I'm considering getting a personal training certification so I can get a job as a personal trainer. I think this would be a good job for me because I really love working out and am unemployed and need a job. I was just wondering if any of you are a personal trainer, how do you like it?

Takin two full weeks off of lifting
So me and a couple friends are taking a road trip all the way from Denver to Orlando, FL where we will stay for a few days. Then we will drive all the way up to New York City where we will stay for another couple days. Then we'll drive all the back here to Denver. This should be interesting. :) Gotta do things like this…

How long have you been doing Stronglifts?
So I'm just curious how far into the program you guys are. I start week 38 today, but I had to take a break for a week or so here and there and sometimes I had to miss days. Today I'm working out at a powerlifting gym. They have bumper plates and chalk. Should be fun! :)

Went to a powerlifting gym yesterday
So I checked out this power lifting gym and pretty much everyone there seems to know what they're doing. It's all barbell stuff that they do there and as an extra bonus, they actually teach you how to do the lifts!
