Best Way to Log Yard Work?
I will be doing yard work today that will mostly consist of push lawn mowing. I have a big front and back yard, so calories will definitely be burned. What is the best way to track this for my calories burned? (I don't have a FitBit and I don't carry my phone while mowing because of accidents and/or...sweat.

Calorie Counting Devices?
I am about to start training for a 5k that I am registered for in October. I usually use my treadmill just for light cardio, and of course this already has a calorie counter for me. I want to be outdoors for my training, so I am looking for a decent watch/arm band/device to track calories while I'm outdoors. Unfortunately…

TDEE...Grrr...
Okay, so I am one step closer to not being as confused, but I am still confused. I wanted to make sure I was eating enough. A friend suggested following this post: http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/ So I did and it was helpful. When it came down to it my TDEE was 2237. Minus 20% of that puts me at 1790. So does this…

Am I eating enough calories?
I want to make sure that I'm not having my body lose weight the wrong way. I want to be able to maintain when I hit my goal. MFP has my calorie intake set at 1500. I usually burn 200cals with exercise daily, which puts me at 1,700 ( I do my best to eat back exercise cals). I have in a range of 100-300 calories left over…

30 Day Squat and Crunch Challenge
Yesterday I started both of these challenges. For those who have done this, I was just wondering how you logged it. Did you just take it as a bonus tiny workout and not bother with logging it? <----May be a dumb question. :P

Anyone not counting sodium?
This may be a dumb question, but I always do my best to stay under sodium intake. So much that I'm starting to obsess/stress about it. I've always had good BP, even when I was pregnant. So, should I be so worried about the sodium? Don't worry, not wanting to go over by 3,000mg daily or anything like that. Just don't want…

Too Few Calories...
I am so conflicted by this. I feel like I eat all day. Of course I go for low cal snacks, meals, etc....but at the end of the day when I log my exercise, my remaining calories are at 500-800 (green numbers). The only thing I can think is "Great grape gravy, Batman. I can't eat another thing!!" I usually feel full and…

One Small Step Towards One Giant Leap
Two months ago I couldn't even pull these pants up past my thighs. I still have a long way to go, but I am one happy cookie right now ( the 100 calorie kind of course).

Too Motivated?
I am usually at least 400 calories under my calorie goal (I do eat back my exercise calories) I burn up to 500 calories a day at least 6 days a week. At first I was really content and proud of myself (which I still am, don't get me wrong). But, I'm starting to get the feeling that I'm not doing enough. I workout to the…

Xbox Kinect
Well, I think I have found something that will keep me entertained and will still be a work out. I've tried Jillian Michaels and just couldn't get into it. I'm a gamer so I figured something that would hold my interest would be the Kinect. I ordered Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2012 which should arrive tomorrow. Does anyone…

30 Day Shred?
I'm thinking of getting the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred because I've read a lot of great reviews for it. I have been walking on my treadmill for an hour a day and would like to bump it up a notch with this workout. I have two questions: 1) Would you recommend this workout? 2) Is there a way to log it in to my exercise…

Quick and Easy Dinner Ideas
I'm a wife, mother, and have a full time job. I don't get off of work until 6:30pm and still have to come home and cook dinner before bath and bedtime for our 10month old. I also work out at night. Because of the crazy schedule our dinners usually consist of quick meals like Velveeta skillets, hot dogs, frozen pizza ...…

Mommy!!
I've been doing my routine for about a month now and have made some progress. I am noticing that certain areas are starting to tone up. However, I had my awesome daughter 10 months ago and seem to be having trouble with that stubborn post-pregnancy belly. Any suggestions??
