Question about protein, weight lifting and MFP
I set my protein on MFP so that I eat a gram/pound of lean mass weight which is around 100 grams for me. MFP only lets me enter it as a percentage, so the actual amount goes up if I earn extra exercise calories. So, for example, today according to MFP, I'm supposed to eat 146 grams of protein. Save your sanity: Take measurements
In the last two weeks I've only lost 0.4 lbs (versus nearly 3 the two weeks prior to that). But, my measurements have gone down at least an inch on my waist and hips. If you haven't already, take your measurements. It just might save your sanity.

Toxins released as you lose weight?!
So, I've been reading about how toxins are released from fat cells as you lose weight, so that you can actually get sick from weight loss. But, you can supposedly detox from this - like by sweating in saunas and taking sea salt baths, and drinking lot of water. Anyone have any other ideas or experience in detoxing?

Eating late at night affects morning weigh-in.
I've noticed that if I eat late at night, my morning weight can be as much as 2 pounds more. So, I usually don't eat past 6 or so the night before I have to weigh-in. I don't really have a question, but just wondering if others have experience with this. It's rather annoying!
