Lose , not Loose

This is probably the most commonly misspelled word here. We are all doing it, so let's spell it right. We LOSE weight, we don't LOOSE it. We are losing weight, not loosing it. Loose is an adjective as in "not tight". Lose is a verb. Lose or gain. Lose or win.

I doubt that this will change spelling habits, but thank you for allowing me this mini-vent.

    This drives me crazy. I actually skip over posts with bad spelling & grammar. I can't handle it.

    I have to admit, I'm another with this bugbear!! It is just a personal irk but, yeah, I think you vented for a lot of us. :)

    Yes, thank you. Bad grammar and incorrect spelling make me crazy, too!
