It occurred to me earlier that today was the third year anniversary of the day I finally took control of my senses and life. On this day back in 2013 (29/05/2013) I joined my local slimming group. My life had been going downhill for many years and almost all of it was self inflicted. I used to be a heavy drinker, smoker…

What loose skin?
OK so this was done for almost a dare to try and emphasise a point that you can lose lots of weight and not have loads of rolls of excess skin. I don't normally get me kit off for photographs but this was done in the name of science lol I understand that my physique is neither athletic or muscular but you can see from my…

HRM or Endomondo for accuracy
Having read many comments about HRM's on MFP forums I bought one some a while back. I was told by Polar the makers of the HRM that it wouldn't give me an accurate figure as I was on beta blockers. I tried out a few apps and found Endomondo about the simplest for me to understand and have been using it for a few months now.…

Walden Farms
Anyone got any info on these products. Can they truly be zero calories? From the few people that I have spoken to about them who have tried them, the general consensus seems to be pretty negative. Discuss.

How to display nutritional information
I realised today that I can add my multivitamins to MFP, which is great. However the only way I can see of adding them is to include them in my daily food consumption. I chose to add them to my 'snacks' section. Is there a way to add another sub section to my food diary or do I just have to live with it for now?

Beta Blockers and Exercise
When I first started to use MFP I soon realised that the burns I was getting from exercise seemed to be way higher than I expected. I trawled the forum and getting a heart rate monitor seemed a lot more accurate solution to my problem. After using it a while I noticed my burns where a third of what MFP had stated. I then…
