I am a new member still trying to figure out this calorie thing out. So I'm 5'6 217 lbs, I work with kids and teach dance. My current activity level is set to lightly active. According to my fitbit I burn a average of 2700-3000 calories a day. I do about 30 minutes of cardio 5-6 times a week. My TDEE 2641 my BMR is 1704 so…

I have been on MFP for 11 days now and I lost 1lb, I'm excited about that but I'm feeling maybe it should have been more. I don't know if I'm doing this right , if my calories are set right or if my active level is too high... I don't know but does anyone have any suggestions.

The MFP way
When follow MPF I'm just curious to know how long did it take before you started to notice the weight come off? Just wondering because I feel like it's almost a science to figure out when to eat your calories back when not to. Fitbit negative adjustment and whatever else... Ahhhhhhhhhh

If I eat my 1400 calories and I workout which causes my remaining calories to increase , will I only lose weight if I eat my calories back or will eating the initial 1400 be fine no matter how how much I work out?
