Traking calories burned using a pedometer???
I am wearing a pedometer to walk 10,000 steps (about 5 miles) and I think it is 450 calories burned! Does this sound right? I googled it and entered in my weight and thats what it said! Any thoughts????

The 17 day diet???
I was wondering if anyone out here has tried the 17 day diet? I am not huge on fad diets but I would like a little kick start to get some more weight off. Ant thoughts? Thank you in advance.

What do you do when you are sick?
I just pushed through a long plateau but now I am sick! :sad: Do I push through it and keep exercising? Do I do really light stuff like walking and arm weights? Or do I rest until I am better? Ant thoughts???

Question???
When I set my goals what should I say my "activity" is? I forget all of them but the light activity...ect. I am a stay at home mom of 3 kids and I do daycare 4 days a week for 2 more. so I am on my feet a lot. What do you think or does it not really matter?

I was wondering if anyone had some good advise or tips for me. I started out at 217 and have been working out and tracking my food faithfully. I have lost about 11 lbs which I am so proud of. BUT I am stuck at 204 and have been for 3 weeks. I am still working out and tracking my food. Ant similar stories out there?

Whats the problem???
I have stayed in my target calorie numbers for a full month! (except for 2 days) And zumba twice a week and run twice a week! I only lost 3 pounds. I am over weight and have over 20 lbs to loose so whats the deal???

I am going to do my first 5k with my sisiter july 30th! So I am going to try the couch to 5k program. Has anyone done it and what were your times when you ran your 5k???

Hey, I am king of a newbie!
I started about 2 weeks ago and have lost 3 lbs. Which doesnt seen like much but I am happy with it. I am a busy mom of 3 and so desperately want to loose weight. I have set a goal to loose 5 lbs a month. I hope to find lots of information and inspiration on this site.
