I made this one-hole belt since I've reached my waistline goal and I refuse to go back. We'll see how it goes.

Full week menu 1500cal/day, eat back exercise calories
I've been doing this a while, and I know a lot of people starting out are overwhelmed with what to eat. There's really no magic to it- just keep it balanced, allow some flexibility, and keep the calories under control. My goal presently is to lose weight while retaining muscle. I've successfully reduced from 196lbs to…

Tofu Bread. Trust Me.
https://allpurposeveggies.com/14298/high-protein-white-bread-with-tofu/ I found this when looking for a bread recipe with extra protein. It's delicious! It tastes almost exactly like Japanese Milk Bread or a rich, fluffy dinner roll. Highly recommend.

Any recommendations for athletic cut shirts?
I ordered some from "Tapered" in the UK. They're nice, but get horribly wrinkled in the wash and always have to be ironed. Anyone know of a good wrinkle-free brand?

Pesto Tuna Noodle Casserole
https://www.eatingwell.com/pesto-tuna-noodle-casserole-8400220 I cooked this recently- its delicious! 455Cal 17.1g Protein, 50.8g Carbs, 18.8g Fat I use premade Pesto from Sams Club. No filler greens- only actual basil. I did change lowfat milk to 2%. Lowfat milk is hard to cook with since it will curdle very easily.

Measurement conversions
People often ask about this. I got this refrigerator magnet with my Bon Appetit subscription. I don't really recommend the magazine. It's really just a snobby lifestyle mag with a few recipes that aren't that great.

Weight training for better cycling
I thought I'd throw this out there. Consulting my personal trainer and the Chris Carmichael training book, I came up with a series of weight exercises that strengthen the leg motions of pedaling: Seated Leg Press (up angle) Rotary Calf Extension Leg Extension Lying Leg Curls Abdominal Crunch Machine Butt Blaster Tibialis…

Board with sleep.
Yes- board. I thought Id pass this on. I wish It didn't take me so long to figure it out. My mattress is too soft for sore back recovery. It's comfortable, but I started to suspect after lengthy healing times after back strain that I didn't have enough support. I'm a woodworker, and had a 4ft x 18in (3/4in thick) premade…

Show your progress graph
On Feb 14 this year, I was feeling like a sad slob. I weighed myself and saw 192 on the scale, which is my second-to-highest record. I finally decided I was going to do this- I reduced daily calories to 1700, and started regularly exercising on an Eliptical machine 45min 3 to 4 times a week. The first 2 weeks were…

A portioning tip for homemade bread
I thought I'd pass on a discovery that has helped with the calorie counting. I bake bread every week, since toast is our preferred breakfast. I've started using a Pullman pan to make standard 4"x4" slices. (A Pullman bread pan has a slide-on lid that makes the bread flat on the top) I enter in the ingredients into the…
