Sugar-Do you count natural sugars?
Every day I go over my sugar "goal" but when I subtract my fruit and veggie sugars I am well under. I don't think natural sugar should count but curious what everyone else thinks. An example: Today I prelogged my diary and I have 63g of sugar and my goal is 45g. I subtracted my two servings of fruit and the sugars in my…

1200 calories a day + exercise
My calorie goal is set to 1,200 calories a day, and I eat back my exercise calories. I went for long walks all week and burned between 600-800 calories a day but days like today when I couldn't, I stayed at 1,200. I am wondering how long it took you to lose weight at this calorie goal? I'm starting at 234 and my goal is…

Is it worth it to get a calorie tracker?
Like a fitbit or something similar? I got a watch type one from Walmart and it said I burned 1,037 calories on my 75 minute walk but MFP says just over 600. I used MFP and now I'm wondering if there is even a point to using them if they are not accurate.

Smoothies instead of juicing
Has anyone ever drank smoothies only for a short period of time? Similar to when people juice for a few days but with smoothies instead. I'm considering it and I don't want to buy a new juicer, plus you need a lot of veggies which means its expensive (more expensive than fruit) and smoothies taste better. If you're just…

I'm at 215 lbs, and I set my goal to 1lb a week. It says my calorie limit is 1,900 but it seems a bit high. I'm hoping to lose 75lbs in about a year. Any other women approx the same size as me lose weight at this many calories? I don't want to set it too low and set myself up to fail.

Walmart chicken breasts
I bought the 10 dollar pack of chicken from Walmart and I searched maple leaf chicken in the database and when I log 5oz it says 153 calories. Does this sound right? It was cooked in the crockpot with a jar of salsa so I'll add a serving of salsa when I log it.
