Is 1900 calories too much?

I'm at 215 lbs, and I set my goal to 1lb a week. It says my calorie limit is 1,900 but it seems a bit high. I'm hoping to lose 75lbs in about a year. Any other women approx the same size as me lose weight at this many calories? I don't want to set it too low and set myself up to fail.

This is a reasonable starting point. Just monitor how everything goes. If you lose 1lb/week (over a multi-week period), then everything is good. If you lose too little, then decrease your intake, if you lose too much, then increase your intake.
Always look back over multiple weeks. Despite losing ~2lb/week, I've had a 2-week period where I didn't lose anything, but if you include the time before/after I was still averaging 2lb/week.0 -
It looks good to me. Eat at that level for four weeks and then reevaluate.0

That sounds fine. See what your body does with that amount the next couple of months. Mine is set to lose .5 a week and I eat 1800 a day.0
