ARGH!
At work atm and people have brought in bags of cookies and dohnuts! And a big birthday cake! I resisted at lunch time by stuffing my face with all my lunch so I wouldn't be hungry. Which worked until now, so instead I am eating a bag of crisps and an apple, to see if that gets rid of my cravings..... ...they look so yummy…

Eat like a king for breakfast etc...
So I'm watching The Biggest Loser atm and Bob the trainer guy just said that you should downsize your meals throughout the day. So have a massive breakfast, normal lunch and a light dinner. Does anyone do this? I have heard something along the lines of Eat like and King at breakfast, nobleman at lunch and peasant for…

Salads Suck...
I am going to Frankie and Benny's tonight for a meal out....I have already chosen what I am having, Crab Cake, Spag Bol and Chocolate Pancake (all from the lighter menu). So I have hardly any calories for lunch. I went to Waitrose and had a Tuna Nicoise Salad, thinking the potato would fill me up....noooooope. So the point…

Weirdest lunch I have had in a while
Went to the staff canteen to get a plain jacket potato to have my left over curry on, they didn't have any so I ended up getting something else...I had left over curry on top of a veggie burger (no bread just the burger!) It was tasty, but I couldn't help but think that's a bit odd, who has curry on top of a burger!? They…

You know what...
....the internet is full of utter crud when it comes to diets! Except for this site ofc. There is so much contradictory information and different opinions that it is hard to know what is right or wrong. I have decided to listen to none of it and listen to something called common sense. Exercise regularly and don't eat…

40g of fibre....in one day!?!
Hi I have read on the internets that to effectively lose fat, you need to eat 40g of fibre a day. So I played about with my tracker for tomorrow to test it...the highest I got was 32g. Whether the 40g of fibre is true or not is not what I am questioning....how does one even manage to eat 40g of fibre (hypothetically…

Advice Needed - Acne Sufferers
Hi So I am 25 years old and I still have super bad skin on my face :( . I have been using benzol peroxide night cream since I was about 14 and that made it a bit better, but since then it's been a constant 'ok, but not great'. Over the last weekend and especially the weekend for some reason I had a huge flare up, but I…

Reading (UK) Pride 2012
Where you there I was and it was amazing :) . Even better than Brighton pride coz it was smaller and less people...getting to the bar was a lot easier and I didn't get lost. It was so awesome to see such a variety of people, a lot of straight couples with families went to see the drag acts and performers, it was so nice to…

A challenge (well, for a non foodie like me!)
I am lacking inspiration for dinner tonight and I am trying to think what I have in my fridge at home I can use. I have a fennel that's going a bit brown, so I should use that soon. Any fennel receipes people could share? I originally brought it as an ingredient to a Sunday roast but that never happened. I am a meat eater…

Coconut Water. 2. Vitatops. 3. Protein Powder/Whey powder. 4.…

Indoor Trainers?
I started the 30 Day Shred the other day and because I did it indoors and I just got brand new and very cream coloured carpets in my front room I didn't wear trainers/shoes. Unsurprisingly ,my feet and ankles started to ache and I had to stop. I don't want to wear my trainers in the front room because they are my gym and…
