Advice Needed - Acne Sufferers

Hi

So I am 25 years old and I still have super bad skin on my face :(. I have been using benzol peroxide night cream since I was about 14 and that made it a bit better, but since then it's been a constant 'ok, but not great'. Over the last weekend and especially the weekend for some reason I had a huge flare up, but I only it was because I was out for the weekend and was eating rubbish like burgers, fish and chips and ice cream (at the beach!). After this weekend I have decided that I have had enough of this spotty orange peel like skin and I need to do something about it.

So I am changing my diet radically to eat more of what the skin needs, and completely eradicate the crud that makes skin inflamed and clogged up.

I have looked it up and researched it on the internet A LOT and have a basic list of dos and don'ts and I was just wondering if there was anyone out there who have been through what I have and have any advice/remedies/success stories they can share?

Thanks peeps.

I had issues with my skin earlier this year, it's always been off and on, I had a lot of scarring. I used pretty much everything advertised on TV. I finally decided to go to a dermatologist because my work involves me talking and dealing with people ALLLLL day so it was embarrassing. The doctor gave me prescription cream, one for the morning and one before bed. I used it daily at first but it did make my face peel (getting rid of the old skin, helped with the scarring) and every time I would sweat my face burned. Sounds kind of awful but cutting back to every 2 days still worked. Now I use it every now and then when I have a break out, otherwise I use proactiv face wash, sometimes twice a day, whenever I take a shower, I also use Biore face wash. My suggestion would be to see a dermatologist they can really help, they may be a little expensive but worth the clear up!
    Hope this helps!

I am 35 and I have always had great skin, no real acne problems. However, when I was 30 the area around my chin started getting really bad breakouts. The dermatologist prescribed Tazorac, which helped. It's a cream. Now I am on Differin, another cream. However, my insurance doesn't cover it, and it's $200 for the tube, which lasts about a year and a half.
    Good luck- see a derm!
