Fads-R-Us

Apologies for what I am about to say but even here it seems a bit fads-r-us!!

So I would like someone to explain why these things are so awesome, I know what these things are but I wanna know why people eat/drink them opposed the their 'normal' counterpart.

1. Coconut Water.
2. Vitatops.
3. Protein Powder/Whey powder.
4. Almond Milk
5. PB2.

That's all I cant think of at the moment.

It just seems nobody on here is eating 'normal' food....like today I had cereal for breakfast (with semi-skimmed milk), sandwich for lunch (normal bread and tuna), Pizza for dinner, and strawberries for pudding...and going to the gym in the evening, no insanity (w/e that is) and all the other odd exercise/torture regimes there are about!

Does anybody agree?

    There's plenty of folk eating "normal food", but they would make boring threads.

    Coconut water....no idea unless it's a milk replacement like the stuff I get, same with almond milk, I don't drink cow's milk, and don't like soya milk, so I find alternatives.
    PB2 is a sort of peanut butter powder if I understand right, a fraction of the calories with all the taste, or something.
    Protein powders are good if you're building muscle.
    Vitatops have no clue what that is.

    You may find they're not fads, it's just you haven't heard of them before, and that's fine. Take what you want, leave what you don't.
