UK,30's and in need of friends
Hi everyone, I'm 31, female from the UK and I'm glad to have joined MFP. I've 22lbs to lose and stress in my life recently hasn't helped me one bit. I am in the processes of trying to make changes to my life to remove the stresses (mainly in my work life), but things will probably get worst, before they get better. I need…
Returning Cornish Maid!
Hello all, Decided to get back to myfitnesspal. Various issues and a love of baking has led to some unwanted additional weight gain. Most of the issues has cleared up, but I have a real problem of eating rubbish when I'm stressed or bored, especially at work. They always have biscuits and I will hoover up a few with a…
ladies weight training question?
Does anyone have any good starting points for a lady like me to start getting into strength training. I have some 3-5kg dumbbells which i use at home regularly, but i wouldn't mind upping it and try to get into a good routine and work on muscle and lift higher. Thanks :)
No more cake!

Hello again. I'm Emma and I joined MFP awhile back and for various poor excuses I stopped logging. Thankfully I haven't gained weight since then and over the Christmas period I got back into my exercising routine and I'm holding onto the good feeling. I would like to up my friends list. I need the motivation to keep going…
Desk bound exercises?
I'm stuck in front of a computer pretty much all day and after a while you just feel like a big lump and by 6pm I'm itching to do any physical activity. I do have the opportunity to go to the gym etc at lunchtime but wondered if anyone had any desk/office based exercises they try to sneak in when no ones looking?
So how often do you weigh yourself? I feel like I'm becoming a bit of a serial scale girl. I'm forever standing on them. But I find my weight can fluctuate about 4lbs very easily depending on lots of different factors. So should I ditch the constant weight watching and keep it to once a week or is it better to keep an eye…
