ladies weight training question?

Does anyone have any good starting points for a lady like me to start getting into strength training. I have some 3-5kg dumbbells which i use at home regularly, but i wouldn't mind upping it and try to get into a good routine and work on muscle and lift higher.

    Popular starting programs include Stronglifts5x5 and New Rules of Lifting for Women.

    I'd also recommend a session with a trainer to learn forms and how to progress in weight/reps.
