    Wine is my dessert most of the time. When I first gave up sweets for the two weeks I just never really re-got the craving. Once in a while I'll have a bowl of no sugar added ice cream.

    Good to know...last night, I had Ezekiel Cinnamon Raisin Toast and tea for dessert. I tried not to have anything...but decided on the toast.

    Today's Menu:

    Eggs with cottage cheese, coffee with skim milk, whipped
    salmon, rice, haricot vert
    apple
    Mason Jar Salad chicken/pasta/veggie
    Ezekiel cinnamon raisin toast with butter and cuppa tea

    Last night was state fair night. But I did okay! Not very South Beach, but not unhealthy.

    Br: cottage cheese, avocado
    Lu: Lentils
    Sn: nuts
    Di: Shared turkey leg with hubs, roasted corn, 3 tiny chardonnays and a bit of popcorn

    Not bad for THE FAIR!

    shredded wheat with banana and skim milk coffee with skim

    % Fage with mixed nuts and raisins...no sugar in the mix I chose...not easy to find. And making your own up was getting too expensive. Found something good at TJs. Open to suggestions.

    Apple with cottage cheese

    Mason Jar Salad (made up a batch earlier today) Bolthouse yogurt blue cheese dressing, bell red pepper, carrots, celery, red onion, corn and chili salsa, whole wheat pasta, roasted chicken breast, avocado, romaine). WOW!

    Tea and Toast for dessert if necessary.

    Kind of a wacky day...

    shredded wheat, banana, skim milk (I love this breakfast...feels like I am sitting down with my dad)...coffee

    cottage cheese and nsa jam, two baby bels light

    HB egg, apple

    salmon and brown basmati

    skim milk whip with something to sweeten it...uh oh...not fake stuff either.

    Last day of work (new job starts tomorrow)..."leaving" luncheon...I got to choose...Mexican food...I ordered fish tacos.

    I love baby bels!

    My plan:
    Breakfast: green smoothie, some pork
    Snack: string cheese
    Lunch: big fat salad
    snack: none, I'll be at the dentist
    Dinner: Whatever I can eat after the dentist, hopefully stir fried tofu and string beans

    Hope you are feeling ok with that dentist appointment in the books.

    B: scrambled eggs ww burrito...found a great new handmade WW tortillas at TJs. Will post later.
    L: brown basmati with roasted chicken...apple (where's the veggies...yikes)
    S: HB egg
    D: chicken lettuce roll ups with corn salsa, roasted haricot vert
    De: toast and tea

    Day two of new job. Have not let the stress turn into stress eating...actually very mindful of food...can't wake up from food coma for sure. Brain works better when fed properly.

    I saw the dentist yesterday, but he wants to wait until next week to do the root canal. He wants me on antibiotics longer. Ugh.
    The pain is getting better though!

    Saturday's Menu:

    breakfast burrito-homemade (ww handmade tortilla by TJs, 1 eggs, 1T corn chili salsa, mild green chilies, 14 grams light Mexican Cheese). Made four...froze three. Needs one strip of crumbled bacon...the kind from TJs...pre cooked. Nice and lean. And it needs avocado. Yum

    pear apple with cottage cheese

    cabbage salad with chicken

    grilled shrimp with brown basmati, roasted haricot vert

    tea and toast


    Really going for as little added sugar as possible...that is my focus right now.
