Very nice. Yesterday wasn't a great day for me. I didn't plan well, and was in a meeting all day (that provided food). It wasn't terrible, just not my best.
My menopausal symptoms suck right now (insomnia, vertigo, tinnitus, crankiness), so I'm going to experiment with lowering my carbs for a while. Not leaving SB, just going to lower my carbs a bit more. Wish me luck!0 -
Of course Good Luck, Sabine...knowing you, you will get this problem resolved...I do hope it works magic to clear up your symptoms.
Today went like this:
coffee with skim milk...could not eat breakfast*
turkey meat sauce with jasmine rice
apple and cottage cheese
green smoothie
turkey meat sauce with added eggplant and whole wheat pasta
*New job is challenging...two hours sleep last night...total meltdown yesterday...so much crying. Today was better...much better. I have a very caring supervisor who gets that I am so overwhelmed. She broke things down for me a bit...very caring person. I just might be able to do this. In fact, I know I will!0 -
New job sounds hard!0

Just new and lots to learn...still have someone sitting with me, but going solo on Monday and well, totally overwhelming.

Lots of carbs, just no grains and very little fruit.
So far it's working well, I haven't seen changes in my menopausal symptoms, but it's only been a few days.0 -
Really, that is what I meant. Duh. Hopefully, the elimination of all the grains will help to sweep away those nasty ol symptoms.
I'm up in the middle of the night...might as well do my menu. Going into work for 3 hours today and tomorrow for training...flying solo next week for the most part...so asked if I could come in.
egg burrito, carrot orange juice
tuna salad on lettuce cup (found skipjack tuna at Costco)...
green smoothie
meatloaf, grilled veggies
tea and toast

Friday turned out almost like I thought, except I had black soybeans (with shrimp and broccoli) for lunch.
Today: meatloaf for breakfast (yum)

I went back to sleep and just got up. I fell asleep at 9...so I got lots of sleep.
Enjoy your time with your friends!0 -

Look at you...finding that recipe. Great. Thanks for the tip! Especially making little servings. I love the stuff and can easily overdo...pretty much my problem on all foods!
