Yesterday final:
Poached eggs, and some left over asparagus
string cheese, a tea latte
burrito with chicken, black beans and blue cheese (flat out wrap)
apple
curried cauliflower and a chicken breast
Today will be basically the same!0 -
I was bummed this morning. The scale read exactly the same as it did last week--plateauing after only 2 weeks on Phase 2 :-(. Then I realized I probably have been overdoing the fruit, which was my go-to snack on Weight Watchers. And also, I've only been doing "sort-of" SB, especially yesterday, which was a difficult day for me. So I'm back to basics today:
B-- Low sodium V-8 juice, All-Bran Bran Buds, banana, skim milk (my everyday, don't need to think about it, breakfast)
L--huge spinach salad, with turkey and Laughing Cow Herb & Garlic Cheese
D--small mixed salad, beef and broccoli, maybe a pear if still hungry
Snacks--cottage cheese with some raw vegetable, apple with skim mozzarella stick
I guess a problem I'm having is that my husband's on a completely different meal plan (counting calories, proteins, fats, fibers), and I'm going nuts making 2 sets of meals.
Enough complaining. I know I overreacted to the scale--just need to trust that the program, over time, will work.

What's reduced guilt ziti? Is it whole grain ziti? If so, I've got to check it out .
Also, what's a low-carb wrap? I mean, how many carbs qualifies?
Thanks!

I don't actually know what qualifies, but I use the Flat out Light wraps these days. They have 14 grams of carbs and 8 grams of fiber. A Mission brand tortilla has 34 grams of carbs and 1 gram of fiber.
Fooducate (my favorite site) rates flatout wraps a B.0 -
Thanks, I'll check out Fooducate. You're the 2nd person to recommend it to me in 2 days.

Have you read south beach diet supercharged?0 -
Yeah, I have. The only exercise I did was skipping that chapter . I figured I'd work on the food part first, then go back to that part. This week, I think. I'm still trying to wrap my head around doing SB food while my husband is doing a strictly calorie/carb/fat/fiber counting diet, which has been very successful for him, so he doesn't want to change. He uses a lot of processed foods, which are pre-counted for him, and every time I try to introduce a new SB recipe, it becomes a big production. So, I'm making 2 meals each for breakfast, lunch, and supper. I think I'm getting the hang of SB, though.0

I've tried a few of the recipes in the SB Supercharged book, and they're quite good. However, I made the mistake of buying the mass market paperback, which has small print and is difficult to read, particularly when trying a new recipe. I'm trying to decide whether to buy the Kindle version or a hard copy. Which do you have, and do you like it for ease of reading and trying recipes? Thanks!
Suz

Thanks for reminding me to use more SB recipes.

Glad you're enjoying your air fryer!0 -
So no real convenience foods a step in the right direction. No Splenda either. Will bounce back and forth with real maple syrup and one fake one using xylitol0
-
Going for as simple as possible right now. Best boneless skinless chicken breasts ever in the air fryer. Totally surprised. Broccoli came out crunchy and edges burned a bit. Delish0

Do either of you have a good way of making canned salmon? I'm trying to get more fish into my diet, and I can't always get nice fresh salmon. Thanks!0
