Sorry I've been remiss in posting. I have been faithful (more or less) to the program.

Today (if everything goes according to plan ;)):

    B: V8 low sodium
B: Kellogg's Bran Buds with raisins (I ran out of my preferred bananas) and Skim Plus milk
L: spinach salad with asparagus, hard-boiled egg, roasted peppers, Laughing Cow cheese, carrots, tomatoes, mushroom, radishes, cucumber. Clementine
Dinner: small green mixed salad, chicken sauteed in olive oil and garlic, steamed broccoli, pear
Snacks: apple and part-skim mozzarella string cheese, pistachio nuts

I've been remiss about posting, finals and all. But I've been relatively good. Finals and all.

Are you taking the finals or giving them? In any case, it's a rough time, so being relatively good is quite an accomplishment!

I've been pretty good too, though I went on a pistachio nut bender yesterday. I went for so many years when I thought I couldn't have them (too costly on Weight Watchers), so now I am enjoying--a little too much. I'll count them out today, then put away the bag before I can rationalize snatching more.

    Today:

B: V8 low sodium, Kellogg's Bran Buds with bananas and Skim Plus milk
L: spinach salad with hard-boiled egg, roasted peppers, Laughing Cow cheese, carrots, tomatoes, mushrooms, radishes, cucumber. Clementine
Dinner: small mixed green salad, vegetable omelet, broccoli and cauliflower, pear
Snacks: cantaloupe and cottage cheese, pistachio nuts

Giving them, and grading them. I'm a professor at a large university.

    Right now I'm cooking this:

    Looking forward to it!

    How's everyone doing?

I'm doing fine--following SB reasonably well. I haven't been posting because I'm a creature of habit, so listing the same foods regularly bores even me. I'm not losing as fast as I'd hoped, but I'm on my last 5 lbs. so it was bound to take longer. Also, I love fruit, so I have a hard time restricting it, but I'm OK with that.

How are you doing? We seem to have lost Magic :-(.

    I bet Magic is around.

I'm als a creature of habit! And I was in the throes of grading for the last while.

    Glad you're doing well!

No! YAY for a change. Just research, which I'm ridiculously behind on, and some admin work.
Don't be fooled, professors are not OFF during the summer. We just have a different looking workload. :)

    Today's Menu:

b: egg white omelet with mushrooms and red peppers, laughing cow light and corn salsa
    s: sunrise homemade juice
l: reduced guilt TJs mac and cheese, grapes
    s: 8 more ounces juice
d: mason jar salad: apples, celery, grapes, walnuts, red peppers, radishes, corn, spinach, herb greens, Bolthouse yogurt dressing
d: wonderslim pudding with fat free whipped topping

this dessert is finally so satisfying that I am not looking for anything else after dinner...plus I have been locking myself in my bedroom to stop the late night munchies.

So, there are a few processed items in here...majority is fresh.

Hope u all have a good Memorial Day.

    Working...here's my plan:

    b egg white om
    l MJS
s hb egg/ freshly made at home carrot orange juice
d baked chicken breast...herb salad (Newman's light italian) , baked potato
d wonderslim dark choco pudding OR nsa rice pudding...both very NON SB, ff reddi whip...35 cal worth.

I have landed on this dessert for awhile. I have tried everything...and when it is not satisfying, I look for other stuff, making it even worse.

I think my day looks great with the exception of dessert. I can live with that.

You're rocking P1 Sabine. You know, I have never really put back on the 17 I lost when we did our reboot last year. I can't thank you enough for that push.

I am trying to figure out how to get the last of my 10 -15 pounds off.

I believe it means upping my Exercise. So, peddling now, and going to commit to using Exercise chair gym and hit the pool 3 times a week.

    Peddling
    chair gym
    pool

    worth a try.

    Have a great day! <3

    Hi, guys,

I'm plugging along, staying close to SB, and slowly, very slowly, losing the weight. I'm sure it would go faster if I upped the exercise, but walking 30-45 minutes a day is the best I can do. In the midst of downsizing, selling my house, and relocating (all of which are good), there are just too many things to coordinate to put additional exercise into the mix too.

Anyway, for today the menu is as follows:

Breakfast: V8 juice, Kellogg's Bran Buds, banana, skim milk

Lunch: kale salad with hard-boiled egg, roasted red peppers, tomatoes, carrots, Laughing Cow cheese wedge, mushrooms, cucumbers, sunflower seeds, radish, clementine

Dinner: small salad, beef burgundy, broccoli and cauliflower, mini whole wheat bagel, pistachio nuts

Snacks: low fat cottage cheese with clementine, apple with skim mozzarella stick

Your lunch sounds great, Silvergirl..I am at work and can't wait to eat my salad. No one to cover my lunch so I have to forward the calls to the sales managers...they don't like that. Oh well, my salad is calling my name.

Best to you with all your "chores"...not easy...but much easier if you are eating healthy, which u r.

Last year, I was able to get through Ernestine's cancer ordeal cuz I was really into SB...we had just started a reboot when she was dx.

Made it through cuz I was focused on my diet...and Ernestine made it through.

YOU will make it through too...and you will be so much happier that u stuck to your program.

    Toodles for now. <3

I'm still here, doing fine. I got bored posting the same old meals--I'm a creature of habit, I'm afraid--and figured you would too. Still losing on Phase 2--slowly but surely, and that's OK.

L: chicken broth, spinach salad with hard-boiled egg, chick peas, mushrooms, radishes, tomatoes, Laughing Cow wedge

Just checking in to see how you folks are doing. I'm staying pretty much to Phase 2, with occasional splurges. I'm at the point now where I'm trying to decide how much more I want to lose. My BMI is currently 22.6, so I am towards the high end of the normal range. I guess because I have been overweight for most of my adult life, I have a distorted body image. I don't yet feel slim. I'm seeing the doctor next month, so I think I can hold out for a little while before I decide. Meanwhile, I'm staying on SB, which I'm finding relatively easy. How will you folks know when to move on to Phase 3?
