Need to clean up yesterday's cat bowls and feed the cats. That's all that's firm on the agenda for today.
I tend towards freelancing my days and often I have nothing on my agenda. I have some chores to do in the next few days such as laundry, Change the Faucet in the Bathroom and use the new impact tool to finish removing the times from the floor in the Kitchen. I had changed the Valve stems in the bathroom a couple of years back and the Cold one has slowly seized up over the last few months so the easiest thing to do is change it to the newer style that do not use rubber washers.
Have a Good Day

If I said I always came home tired as I never sleep as well on vacation as I do in my own bed would You believe me ?
Yep, I'm already in my pajamas, and intend to be in bed after evening national news! I had a great time with Ted and my Brother and my SIL...but I'm also very tired!
See you both tomorrow...
Hi Valerie
My biggest problem is falling asleep earlier than the normal time that I usually do. OTOH I find it impossible no matter how tired I am to sleep in a Car, Bus, Train, Plane or a chair, even the reclining type.
Have a Nice Day Today

Howdy y'all. It's scintillating Sunday! 42 out there with an expected high of 49 and 100% chance of rain. Good day for a nap. Sink is cleared and yesterday's cat dishes are cleaned. Dishwasher is running.
Cats need to be fed in an hour or so, though I'm sure they would be happy to have it now.

Anybody want an 'older' cat? Tom E. is driving me batty! Clingy, demanding, has bitten me twice in two days, (first was a 'warning' bite...this morning drew blood)...he'll be ok in another day or two.
It is cold and rainy today...yesterday was great..today makes me want to re-pack my suitcase and head back to the beach! I'm avoiding the outdoors today. Tomorrow may not be a lot better, except at the moment no rain predicted...but, tomorrow I MUST hit the grocery store(s). I was expecting a 'warmer' welcome home, so I'd THOUGHT I might shop yesterday afternoon. HA!
So far I've eaten once today. I had half a dozen un-sprouted potatoes, a nearly full pound bag of 'baby' carrots, onions, and about a pound of brussels sprouts. Those items became my 'brunch' today. I have pressed, and am marinating a block of tofu...there are a few carrots and sprouts left, and I KNOW there are frozen veggies...so thats for dinner!
Roger, too bad the deer didn't just walk down the street beside you for company. You know, the kind of company that keeps you on alert!!! LOL!!
I don't envy you the installation of the new sink faucet...though I Would love to have a new one! With today's flexible plastic lines installation should be much easier than with copper lines...the big Problem would be getting contorted enough to get into the space to hook up the lines! That I think I will leave for a kid of mine! maybe.
Ed, watched the kids eating rice...most of that should have been quite tasty...??? I know I'd have sure eaten many of those. My brunch today utilized two of my iron skillets. Pappa skillet, and Baby skillet! They make great pans to roast in...I preheat them in the oven as it heats to temp...so everything starts to sizzle soon as I put it in the pans...and everything gets a nice sear too!
They, my family, ate pizza while I was at the beach...Sure looked and smelled good! But I resisted. Didn't even have my 'annual shrimp at the beach' meal. Hmmmm. Guess I owe me one.
Ok, time to start some laundry, so it can work, while I nap! (nap after 10 hour sleep...told you I was tired) I did nod a bit in the car, but couldn't really call it 'sleep'. I do an excellent job of sleeping in a recliner, therefore I do not own one! I've also slept on trains, and planes...but sleeping in the car eludes me.

I'm guessing that the 100% means that it is raining ?
I need to do the laundry in the next couple of days, Now all I need is to get started, First I need to recharge my battery. I did not go to far today as I was feeling a bit poorly, Not ill, Just no energy, possibly something I ate or did not eat Sunday ?parityanimal wrote: »Dollar Tree $1 burrito.

Thanks for the offer but I will pass on the free cat offer
I am curious as I never looked to see, is Pressed Tofu not available to save time ?
My Brother baked two Baking potatoes that had started to sprout and I did have 1/2 of one with Butter and a pinch of salt. Why do it yesterday ? He decided that the Corned Beef he was turning into Pastrami and then once it was cooked we could vacuum seal it and use less room in the freezer.Roger, too bad the deer didn't just walk down the street beside you for company. We had to change the sink some years back and I did use the flexible lines then. That is why I should have changed the faucet except that the faucet was OK then
Since I can take the top of the vanity off after disconnecting the water lines and drain line I do not think it will be real hard. If I had to lay on my back using a basin wrench getting up and down it would be a pain in the neck.Ed, watched the kids eating rice...most of that should have been quite tasty...??? Howdy y'all. It's marvelous Monday. 44 cloudy degrees out there with an expected high of 48 and 0% chance of precipitation.
Kiara and Dinah are tearing around the house like lunatics. I think maybe the cooler weather has them more active. From the sounds, I think they just discovered the empty heat shrunk plastic water case I put under the kitchen table for them. When Kiara was a little younger she sometimes liked to crawl into them, even before they were completely empty, and bat at Dinah from the inside. Not sure what they are doing now, possibly laying on (and flattening) the plastic as they like to do that too. Who needs toys when we have paper bags, cardboard boxes, and plastic water cases to play with? Not to mention leaves that have fallen off of orchid plants, and, with spring, bugs that have re-awakened for the year.
Need to clean the cat dishes from yesterday, and last night's wine glass, and eventually feed the cats.
Maybe a grocery trip today.

Hi
I'm back from walking and no cents. The temperature this morning was 28 degrees and no breeze.
The scale was nicely lower than yesterday morning, again, It seems that the "Time-restricted eating" combined with a 100% NS plan is working really well so far.

Yup, Why spend money on toys when freebies work so well
Possible Precipitation on Wednesday so I pulled out the new Frogg Toggs package and threw out the old that got ripped when I got to close to the Raspberries while shoveling snow earlierparityanimal wrote: »I don't think they make rippled Pringle's any more. I rather liked them.

Hi Valerie0 -
Howdy y'all. It's terrific Tuesday! 47 out there now with an expected high of 53 and 10% chance of precipitation.
Need to clean yesterday's cat bowls, feed the cats, and maybe get to the store. Maybe.
Made some tasty vegetarian chili last night with some yellow Spanish rice. It was a nice, warm, filling dinner for a chilly day.
The leftovers may be today's lunch.
