Work has erupted. I’ve been in tears and trying to no hurl. Bad bad stomach pain. Plus...the hospital that gave me sepsis...that told me i had a zero balance... with no bill or any communication sent me to a vile collection agency! I’m sick!
    Hi Val
It appears to me that to save Yourself You need to change work environments, this one id making You sick !

Hang in there, I doubt that anyone working at a collection agency has any humanity.

Did you know you can sue a creditor or a credit bureau for violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act? Violations happen all the time to unsuspecting consumers who don't have a clue as to what their rights are — let alone that they can sue someone for these violations.

Val, I hope things go better. Sounds like you are putting in some rough time.

I am just trying to get back to some normal semblance of just eating sensibly. I guess my social obligations are just a hindrance I need to work with. That puts out the keto, which works well if I could just stay home! Interesting articles, still catching up.

    Hi
I'm back home from walking no cents. The Temperature out the door was 77 degrees and uncomfortable while walking due to humidity IMO.
There was a light show out the living room window yesterday evening with Thunder and rain as an accompaniment. Then I suspect the Loud thunder that returned in the night woke me up and there was a couple of really loud Thunderclaps after I was awakened. 100% chance of rain as it spritzed, Technical term, in the afternoon then a heavier rain in the evening. The 10 O-Clock weather showed 0.6 inches nearby and then more fell overnight, After the Thunder probably woke me up I could hear large drops hitting the window AC.

    Hi Val
I feel so sorry for You having such a hard time for a while now. Be Strong.

I was lucky the few times I have used a lawyer they were polite and helpful, so much for southern hospitality?
The one we have now is great, she has handled things for the family for years.

My Sister is having many problems with a lawyer in California that here Washington state lawyer referred her to so I know we have been lucky here in NJ.

With Lawyers as with any service type, research is important as well as referrals by someone You trust.
FWIW I have seen bills come in a year after the doctor performed the service. Why or how , I do not know :(

Good Luck, Here's hoping for a speedy resolution.

The best lawyer is recommended by a friend who won in court...IMO.

I had trouble with a collection agency once. They made tens of calls. I finally told them I always paid my bills, and always ask at the DR. office if I am current and paid. I would get a lawyer and report and sue them if it continued. Then I drove to the Dr. and explained what was happening. I showed my receipts and told them not once did they ever contact me if I even owed anything. I was polite, but in no uncertain terms, firm and told them to fix it. I had one call after which I did not answer and that was it. A month and a half later the one doctor in the group was shut down due to insurance fraud. No insurance would pay off on his patients after that. Kind of a shame as he was a good Dr. who I think just had issues with insurance dictating his treatment especially for the poor. Not a fight you will win...plus you just cannot break the law, no matter how unfair it seems....

Life can just be so difficult. Perhaps you need to checkout the jobs where your former boss went, Val. The one who said he would help you...I am sorry that job is so hard on your health. It should not be that way... :s

I hope it is fixed for you soon too! Stay safe all! ...Jan

    Hi
I'm back home from walking no cents. The Temperature out the door was 70 degrees and was comfortable while walking with a light breeze until a light rain made its appearance. That led to me pulling out the disposable rain poncho which blocked the breeze and made the walking less comfortable.
Today is forecast to be cooler and the humidity is forecast to drop for a couple of days.

Yesterday there was rain in the early evening.

Thanks for the funnies Roger. Those Italian bridge collapses are shocking. I’m having a much better day today than Friday! The hospital has called-off the collection agency. I’m meeting with them tomorrow to discuss my request. I have in writing from my boss’ boss that i did not inappropriately release information as he indicated during Wednesday ‘s meeting. I integrated Ignis (my friend’s 100# pit bull) into the pack. And, I think I’ve averted a sinus infection by diligently flushing. Yes...this is much better than Friday! Hugs to all!

I'm glad You are enjoying them, some of them are really funny.

Weak cement is not just overseas. I knew a mason that was involved with building a new prison. They had to stop building while it was determined if the lower strength cement that was poured and cured for a while then cores were taken for testing.

    Hello!

Almost felt human again today. Still a little stiff and sore. The climbing on the table was about as uncomfortable as her pressing that ultrasound wand to reach my heart. I am a little sore from that too, believe :# it or not!

I ate easy to digest thing today. Tomorrow is all clear liquids. Hope I can do that, lol...And the prep.. @ bottles mixed with just 6 oz. each. Much better than that 2 gallon jug.... :)

Interesting article about the old city in Kansas. There is so much we do not know. You have to just love it when people think they have all the answers...I can sympathize with both sides of the little house issue. I do not think I could live in those smaller ones. That is pretty small. It would be nice if they would buffer the neighborhoods with some parks and forest....

I have to admit I pick pretty fruit and veggies over the ugly. But I would not and do not throw it out...I bet if they offered it next to the pretty and a discount it would sell. Better than waste. Especially if it is cut up, then you can not even tell. ..They may taste more authentic!! :*

Some sprinkles today. And a small less humid front expected. Welcome!!

Take care all. Val, my daughter swears by her neti pot!! ...Jan
