    haha...me too.
Same here with signs. I can't even say the name. Nothing like being KKK approved. Yikes.
Sorry didn't mean to get political. Want it over!
I liked your cartoon about hi-deaf!
    Have a good day.

    Hi Vix
I have been trying to steer clear of that very touchy Explosive known as Politics? I just thought the sings thing was too weird not to make some comment on.

I am so ready for it to be done. The Noon News on the NBC Station WNBC had one news item and the rest was coverage of Bridgegate. I am so tired of that one too. Now that the verdict is back maybe it will finally fade away?

    Cheers

    Good morning;
I have been MIA for a few days. On Friday our store was slated for a visit from the bigwigs.
The manager asked me to stay until after they came. 3 hours after I was scheduled to go home he got a call saying they were not going to make it that day. By the time I got home I was so tired that I fell asleep at 6:30. Yesterday when I got home from work I was so tired and achy that I did nothing for the rest of the day after taking 2 advil. These old bones can't take working long hours any more. :(
Roger-Fitbit is very good at replacing broken products. I am waiting on a new charger for mine. It broke while I was in England.
Vix-I could probably do Tai Chi and some yoga but I find pilates hard. Good for your mother-in-law walking at 101 years young.
Today is grocery shopping for me and some house cleaning.
Have agood day and don't forget to turn your clocks back. :)

    Good morning.
Jo, sorry you had to work so much. I think that was what was getting to me just before I retired. I did a lot of 9 and 10 hour days, with little or no breaks.
I could not do a pilates class...I modify everything down to something I can do, sometimes I stop and take a break when the class is still going. Same for yoga. I can do most of the tai chi part. Some days are better than others.
I changed my stand alone clocks last night, and the ones on appliances this morning.
Looks like it's going to be another beautiful Fall day.
    Enjoy. :)

    Hi
It was showing 52 degrees this morning warmer than yesterday for the same time, I walked today for 8,469 steps + 1 cent. I have spent a few minutes changing the time on all the clocks.
I also did a manual sync on he FitBit Zip to get the clock in it set properly as that is what I use when walking.

While walking I passed by items set out ahead of the Bulk pickup. I passed a Defunct Leaf Blower and Weed Whacker and in other locations a dead Vacuum Cleaner and a Entertainment center that is most likely to narrow for today's Widescreen TV sets.

Did everybody remember to set Your clocks back at 2AM :)

    Have a Great Sunday

Before I retired I was working a Five nine hour days and a 8 hour day on Saturday... It was getting really old doing that too. I was happy to stop working. I find that due to several factors a walk is a fast as I can go these days.

I changed one clock in the bedroom last night before going to bed, then had to get back up and correct my error as I had set it ahead not backwards, Oops :) At least I realized it right away. I have done most of the rest thins morning after my walking. Two more to do in the basement :)

Today was great outside, I think I will go out later and process some Black Walnuts after the Sun hits the patio where I do the work.

    Cheers

    Hi Irene
That sounds like a reasonable time to me for walking that many steps, It is around what I take for my walking too.

I bought a Folding Bike for my brother for his Christmas Present last Year. It has a 200 pound capacity and was reasonable in price and does not have to be left outdoors since it does fold in two.

I seem to remember we had a crime wave here in town years ago where Bicycles were the target too.

    Good Luck

I see Your message got chopped off?

I used the Satellite Box to set the time in one part of the house and the Cable Box and then I remembered I could use the Cell Phone for accurate time too.

I'm sorry to hear that You had that happen to You at work.

My Cheapo Fitbit Zip, I just replace the battery when I get the email from them that the battery needs replacing :) It takes a CR2025 Coin shape battery.

I was at the ShopRite Yesterday, Today the scale is showing me the results of my lack of Don't buy that tempting Crud :( Oh well a few days Of back to 100% weight loss eating will fix that.

    Hi
It was showing 38 degrees this morning colder than yesterday for the same time, I walked today for 8,094 steps + 3 cents. I missed changing the time on the clocks in the Basement, those are the ones in the work area and the Wall clock & Digital Clock in the room with that computer :)

According to UMass Lowell’s survey report
    https://www.uml.edu/News/press-releases/2016/odyssey-poll-10182016.aspx
Nearly a quarter of Americans ages 18 to 35 would rather see a giant meteor strike the Earth than see either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump in the White House, according to the new UMass Lowell/Odyssey Millennials poll released today.

The poll asked millennials to choose their preference between Clinton as president, Trump as president, a random lottery to choose the president from all U.S. citizens, Barack Obama appointing himself to a life term as president or a giant meteor striking Earth and extinguishing all human life. Over a Clinton or Trump presidency, 39 percent of those surveyed said they preferred Obama serve a life term; 26 percent prefer a random lottery to choose the next president and 23 percent (nearly 1 in 4) prefer a giant meteor strike.

Remember that tomorrow is election day.

Good Morning; I had my follow-up appt. this morning for my cyst.
It has gone down some, but now I am developing another one underneath that one. I am now taking a stronger antibiotic and have an appt. to see the surgeon on Thurs.
Irene-you are doing much better every day. We have bikes that are hanging on the breezeway wall collecting dust. I keep saying I need to start riding again.
Vix-I agree with Roger, as long as you are not gaining, it is a good thing. I gained back the 5 lbs. that I lost and am really having a hard time getting back on track.

I am so happy that the Election will be over tonight, Then starts the News reports for a couple of days explaining what and why, take Your pick of the Smileys ( :)

Since the news organizations these days all have a bias one way or the other I have had some trouble believing what I see or hear from them.

    Hi Joanne
I found the results of the survey to be a sad commentary on the state of politics these days.

I have put on a couple of pounds from junk bought Saturday at the ShopRite. Junk being the two slices of Carrot Cake. They seem to have caused water retention, Probably from the sugars and a small actual weight gain. I find that I have trouble getting back into it too after a cheat day like that. However I did drop 3/4 of a pound of mostly if not all water weight since yesterday morning. The 19th will be a problem too. My Brother & I are meeting friends at the Chinese Buffet for lunch that day. I know that whatever healthy choice I make there will be masked by water retention from the sodium levels :) A example would be the Chicken & Broccoli and the Green beans. Healthy enough in and of themselves, however no matter how well I let the sauces drain there will be some sauce left on them that will be high in sodium. I will visit the fruit bar section for my daily fruit AKA Smart Carbs and the Chicken from the Chicken & Broccoli plus the Green Beans will provide Protein and Vegetables. So the Lunch Buffet will be my main meal for the day. They also have some nice meats available, I will need to avoid the Dessert Bar section :)

Good Luck with the Cyst, is it exposed where it could be getting irritated?

Have a Nice Election day and Congratulations on getting out early to vote despite the way it has been this year.

Hi all. I have put on a few pounds and that is where I'm stuck. I think I will feel better after today is over. I have never felt this way about an election before. All my instincts have been putting out danger warnings.
Jo, I hope those cysts clear up for you.
Roger, nice how you are able to remain so calm.
Irene, good luck with the bikes.
    I can't ride a real bike anymore...can use stationary bikes...I don't know why there's a difference.
    Have a good night, everyone.
    Peace.

    Hi Vix
Calm is not quite the way I would put it :) Maybe resigned to having to re-lose the weight might be better.

This Election is worrying to me too. I am wondering what will happen as a result no matter who wins.

I am not sure why You can can use stationary bikes and not a real bike, that one is a little odd.

Wish us all luck now that the elections are nearly over. NYC seems to be having Voting machine issues too.

I smell recounts coming no matter who wins unless it is a landslide victory.

    Have a nice peaceful evening

    Hi Joanne
That sounds like a annoying location too.

I figure unless there are recounts the election should start to fade from the news in a day or two, not soon enough for me BTW.

Have a Great Visit with Your Sister
I wish I could get mine out for a visit from Washington state, it has been years and neither my Brother or I feel as if we could handle flying these days for several reasons. Travel by Train? Maybe. Not cheap for a sleeper berth from coast to coast so, no go for now.

Have a Great Visit and Evening

My knee was bothering me so I only went have way.But what is really nice is I haven't taken any pain meds for a couple of days now just using heat on my knee.So I am really improving. Roger I know I can't do my work yet I need to be able to bend and knell which I can't do yet I have been on long term disability not sure how long I will be on it. I think it would be different if I had a job that wasn't so physical. My plans for today is getting my hair done high lights and cut . take care all

I took along my New Yeti 30 ounce insulated cup for my Coffee refill. Best Cup yet for holding the heat. heavy however as it is All Stainless steel except for the lid that is sealed with a Heavy O-Ring and nice and thick too.
