    Hi
It was showing 43 degrees this morning , I have walked 7,918 steps. The rain yesterday amounted to more than the forecast.

I checked to Raspberry Bushes and Yea, I found 8 ready to eat and a possibility of a few more. It seems that the frost we have had has not harmed them :)
I also stopped and picked up some Bananas, $0.19 a pound, A hard to beat price and then 10% off of that :):)
I am also still eating a few Cherry Tomatoes as they slowly ripen on the counter from the garden. We picked what was left before the hard freeze a little while ago.

I know from Observation and from the news that some NJ towns have painted a Blue line down the middle of the road. Anywhere else?
    http://www.pennlive.com/news/2016/10/thin_blue_line_road_pennsylvan.html
Thin blue lines painted on roadways? They appear in N.J. to support police, unlikely in Pa.
    The Thin Blue Line.

Most of us have heard the expression. It's often used to describe those few who protect the rest of us from crime and chaos.

But thin blue lines are beginning to show up on roadways around the country – and in some cases, they're running right down the middle of the road, between two thicker, yellow lines.

Is it a sign of support for local police departments? Or can it be a point of confusion – and even be a safety concern -- for drivers?

"I think there are appropriate ways to show support, and people should pursue those appropriate ways," said Greg Penny, spokesman for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's District 8, which includes the Harrisburg region.

Blue lines between solid, yellow lines haves have been seen recently in New Jersey, but Penny said this is not permitted on state-owned roads in Pennsylvania.

    Have a Great Wednesday

Have You ever watched a show called Chopped on the Food Network? the competitors have to make dishes for the judges out of 4 ingredients in the basket. Some of them are weird, Cricket Flour or Duck Bills for example.

    Hi Vix
I wonder if Your eye drops are the same?

Question: What happens if you drink eye drops?
    Full Answer
Though it is sometimes regarded as a prank, putting eye drops in someone's drink can have dire consequences. Products like Visine contain tetrahydrozoline HCI, according to Healthguidance.org, and this substance is known to cause diarrhea, nausea, severe breathing difficulty, respiratory failure, tremors, blurred vision, seizures, coma and even death. Anyone who drinks eye drops is advised to seek medical attention or contact the Poison Control Center immediately.

I hope there is no problem with Your Eyes.

Irene-I am glad to hear that you and George are feeling better.
Vix-I hope the company will give you a discount.
Roger-I have not seen any blue lines in Ma.
My friend from work was in NYC yesterday and he said there were police everywhere, especially around Trump tower. There were also a lot of protestors.
I went to the foot doctor this afternoon. I have plantar fasciitis. The doctor gave me some exercises to stretch the muscles. He also told me not to wear flat shoes or go barefoot.
He said it usually goes away in about a year. I have had this pain for more than 6 months now, so I hope it goes away soon.
    Have a good evening. :)

    G'morning.
Irene, sounds like you're doing well...that's good.
Jo, hope the doc's advice works for your foot. My clay buddy got the same advice from her Dr. My husband had a neuroma by the ball of his foot and the podiatrist was able to give him injections for that. Has the cyst cleared up under your arm? Hope you're feeling better.
Roger...my understanding was that it was from the early days when there were a lot of uneducated people (still are), and the people in command wanted a way to ultimately control it (It was a much smaller conglomerate of people at that time, and therefore more manageable). The reason you gave is true for the Senate in my understanding of the history and strategy of it all. Anyway, we're most likely not going to see that change any time soon.
Off to painting class today. And going to a sip and paint tonight with a couple of other friends. I just need to keep busy.
    Have a good day.

    Hi Joanne
From what I have seen the Blue lines are a hit or miss thing.

From what I saw on the News Broadcasts Yesterday the security around Trump and Trump towers is hurting local businesses. Interesting that he is the only one I have seen that reported for. I never saw anything in the past despite that I have a feeling that Obama the Bushes most likely had the same effect.

I looked up Plantar Fasciitis and I must have been lucky not to have problems from it when I was at my highest weight and that for many years working up to that especially working Retail. A year to go away is not good :(
Did the doctor also suggest new shoes or inserts? Have You thought about custom shoes. When I was working I had a customer that had bad feet and he had the special shoes designed to his feet made and Voila, Much better walking according to what he said.

    Good Luck getting over it.

It was showing 42 degrees this morning , I have walked 8,778 steps + 1 cent.

Tomorrow is Lunch with friends at the local Thai Food place.
Seen on the Local Cable news channel this morning, Another bad bet paid off :)
Trump Stamp: Iowa Man Gets Tattoo on Lower Back After Losing Bet.
    http://whotv.com/2016/11/16/trump-stamp-man-gets-trump-tattoo-on-lower-back-after-losing-bet/
Editor's Note: Content and language in video below may not be suitable for all viewers
DAVENPORT, Iowa – Zach Cobert supports Bernie Sanders - but it's Donald Trump whose leaving the biggest imprint on his life.

"Oh my God, what am I doing here?"
Zach is settling a bet with a buddy. He promised to get a tattoo of Donald Trump on his body if Trump won the election. "Oh snap, today's the day."
Let the ink flow: "You guys wanted this."
In the era of social media, Zach went to a tattoo artist and posted every mark and every drawn wisp of Donald Trump's hair live on Facebook. "I'm thinking about my life, how it went wrong, now I'm getting a Trump stamp."
The picture was picked by his Facebook followers. So was the location: on Zach's lower back.
"The stupidest thing I've done for views." No argument from his girlfriend.
"I'm not happy with it," said Jenni Gang. "No. I have to look at it forever."
Other people at 3-D Skin Lab have their doubts, but a bet's a bet.
"It's something that I would do so I can't call it too stupid," said fellow customer Josh.
You can question the sanity, but not the commitment.
Zach sat in place for hours as the tattoo took shape. And it's not done yet - he has to return to have it finished.
All this for something he really doesn't want. "I just wish I was getting a normal tattoo, something I wanted."
And it may make him re-think future bets. Well, maybe.
"If I keep losing bets, maybe I'll keep going."

    Have a Great Friday

    Hi Irene

Ah, the famous Tofurkey Thanksgiving meal :)

My Brother is planning to pick up our free up to 21 pounds Frozen Turkey for spending $400 over a period of time at the Shoprite Sunday. Is that the source for Your Turkey donation too? BTW I understand there is a good price on Mashed potatoes starting Sunday too.

The Local Acme circular has a coupon for a free Jennie-O basted 10 to 22 pound turkey for spending $100 in one visit. Also a good deal as I see it.

Knowing him there will be Mashed Potatoes with home made Turkey Gravy, Salad, Rolls, Bread Stuffing AKA Dressing, a tray with Carrots, Celery, and Black Olives and Pumpkin Pie. I need to be stronger than last year.

    Congratulations on the 5K steps.

    Hi Joanne
You are ahead of me too in found money :)

In Addition to the Pumpkin Pie my brother has offered to make a sweet potato Pie using the ones we grew this year. I happen to suspect that it will be to similar in taste to have both for one meal.

Inserts most likely are one of those things that work for some and not for others. I suspect that not going Barefoot will help more than anything.

    Good Luck

    Hi all.
Roger a sip and paint is where you bring a bottle of wine or whatever (and some friends), and you pay to make a standard painting. They give you paint, a canvas, and some brushes to use, and there's an instructor up front who shows you how to paint the picture step by step, while you're drinking wine and painting. It's fun. Even though everyone's basically painting the same picture, they all come out different.

    Hi Vix
Thank You for that explanation :) I was wondering if it was something like that or if it was a event where You go paint walls and get sips of a beverage.

I am not surprised that the painting would come out different. Look at the differences in styles over the years.

    Hi Joanne
If it were just the three of us that being Me, Myself, and I a quick visit to the Local ShopRite hot food section where The have roast chickens and 1/2 Turkey Breasts year round for the 1/2 Turkey Breast would be a big time saver along with that not Gourmet Stove Top stuffing and a Cranberry sauce and a bag of frozen vegetables would suffice. Possibly also a stop at the Hot food Buffet section there for hot sides vs doing them myself. I tend to have simple, easy to satisfy tastes :)

Interesting that there are no Free Turkeys, That makes me wonder if it is a regional thing for this area.

Home made Apple {Pie sounds delicious TBH. The way my Brother makes Pumpkin pie is more to his heavy on the spices than my Preference. I do have a couple of slices of store made Caramel Apple pie with nuts that is not bad in the freezer that I may pull a slice of out to thaw and then Microwave for Thanksgiving especially since I know my Brother is planning on making Whipped Cream from Scratch rather than a Redi-Whip or Cool Whip as a topping for the Pumpkin Pie he has planned for the Holiday.

I expect that tomorrow Mr. Scale will be unkind to me, however since I knew I would be eating out today I have been working on eating for a weight loss this week :)
I will be doing the same for the Sunday to Thanksgiving Holiday for the same reason.

    Hi
I forgot to mention that we now have Moxie in the House that was purchased at the Christmas Tree Shop too.
    http://www.drinkmoxie.com/history.php
re-1885: Dr. Augustin Thompson...short bio: born in Union ME...Civil war veteran, playwright, and homeopathic physician...set up practice in Lowell, MA, which was home to many patent medicines...wanted to make a cure-all which did not contain harmful ingredients like cocaine and alcohol. Note: no evidence that Moxie was ever commercially produced prior to 1885, even in non-carbonated form. Folklore points to earlier dates, but again, no evidence. Thompson was never a pharmacist, never worked for Ayer Drug Co. as sometimes alleged.

1885-1899: Moxie Nerve Food invented and patented in 1885. First bottled carbonated beverage made in America. Many wild curative claims. Attempted distribution in Atlanta, Denver, & Chicago, but never really took off except in northeast. Also introduced in lozenge format, but that did not do well. Fantastic claim that basic secret ingredient (now known to be gentian root) was discovered by Thompson's former comrade, a Lt. Moxie (he never existed) while traveling in the wilds of South America somewhere. Unique Moxie bottle wagons were used to dispense Moxie at fairs and amusement parks. Some ads incorporated then-popular "brownies" in them, others promoted a "health and vigor" theme (almost like today's "energy drinks").

    Cheers
