So, 50 is the new 40 and 40 is the new 30 or is it the other way around? No matter what the new and old numbers mean, those 55 and older do get some extra perks. Good morning!
    Nice discounts!
Hope your back feels better, Irene. :)
    Hi Jo!
Got through zumba, but still have an achy leg. Went in the sauna for a while...that was nice. :)

    Hi all,
Vix-Did I miss you hurting your leg? I hope it feels better soon.
Roger-That is the list of discounts that I mentioned a few weeks back. I looked everywhere but couldn't find them.
I know I printed them out, so they have to be here somewhere. Thank you for posting them. After listening to the intro of the British Anthem, I started singing the American song. :)
Irene-Sorry your back is still hurting, hopefully the meds will help.
I Skyped with my son and daughter-in-law yesterday. They are planning a trip to Germany.
I am planning a family cookout for July 3. We don't all get together often, so it will be nice to see everyone.
    Have a good evening. :)

    Hi
It was cool when I started out walking + 7900 Steps and 1 Cent. On the inbound leg around 6200 steps I started feeling warm so I pulled off the thin long sleeve shirt and put it in my pocket for the remainder of the walk.

    Have a Great Weekend

    Hi Vix
I have found that I can save lots of money via a few minutes with the search engines such as Google and Bing. TBH I think I like Bing.com better too.

Hopefully the Sore leg gets better quickly. Did the Sauna Help?

    Cheers

    Hi Joanne
I hate it when I do that and then can not find it. I put things someplace for safekeeping and then do not find them for years :)

I wonder if Your family over there has heard the British version?

It is hard to believe that it is almost the 4th of July already. Where has the time gone?

    Enjoy

    Good Luck with Your Back

    Good morning!
Thanks, everyone...no worries...my joints take turns acting up. It's chronic. The PT exercises help. Doing better this morning. Walked around the neighborhood.
Irene, hope your back feels better soon.
Jo, don't you just love Skype! :) My daughter and son-in-law just went to Germany and Italy (with 1 day in Austria). They loved it, had a great time. They said it was beautiful...they were in southern Germany, near Munich.

    Good afternoon;
Vix-glad you are doing better. I would probably not talk to my son as often if I had to call him on the phone.
It doesn't cost anything to use Skype. :) I think my son and daughter-in-law are going to Berlin.
Irene-did you Dr. suggest physical therapy for your back? Sometimes just doing stretching exercises helps.
Roger-I get a 10% discount if I buy the store brand products where I work. Every penny counts when you are on a budget. I also use coupons as often as I can.
Nothing new going on here. It is currently raining. I think I will crash on the couch and watch some of the shows that I have recorded.
    Enjoy your evening. :)

    Hi Joanne
Unless You are rich every penny counts these days.

I do not do many coupons as I rarely run across any that I find useful. I have simple needs and tastes.

Hopefully the store brands are tasty. I like that On Wednesday I can get the 10% on fruits and Produce as well as dairy & brand names. I do have some coupons that are good until the middle of July for cereals I do use. I am just waiting until then to buy as I do not need them currently and I do not want to have a lot of food on hand that may expire.

    Have a Great Weekend

    Hi
It stayed warm overnight, it was 79.9 degrees at 2AM and it was still 76 degrees and humid at 6:20 when I went out the door. The only thing that helped was staying on the shady side of the road and a intermittent breeze. 7500 steps and one Penny.

    Have a Great Sunday
    Roger

    Hi Vix
It is a sunny day and the forecast temperatures are supposed to be lower today.

I did turn on the AC before heading out the door to have cool house on my return as the Living room was still 77 degrees :)

    Have a Good Day

    Hi Irene
When I looked at the Local Temperatures last night they were at 88 degrees at 10PM and had dropped to 79.9 when I checked the porch at 2AM, that is easy as I have a Alarm Clock that shows Room & Remote Temps, Humidity, day & date as well as the time. It was still warm at 6AM too. I think it cools off tonight however. I was glad I fired up the AC before leaving to walk this morning, It was not great walking weather :(

    Enjoy the Day

    Good afternoon;
I went strawberry picking with my daughter. We got there about 10am and there were already a lot of people there.
The strawberries were really small and there were not that many left.
It is nice and sunny and very breezy. I can't remember when we have had this much wind. I have the windows open. :)
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. :)

    Good morning.
Irene, good that you got your walk in, a little chilly here, but I opened a bunch of windows to get some fresh air into the house while it's still cool. :) Hope your back starts feeling better. PT is wonderful.
Jo, strawberries are supposed to be excellent for your health...and fun to pick with your daughter. :) Sunny and breezy again this morning. Sat on our deck last night and it got chilly with all the wind.
Roger, it seems to be cooling off nicely at night and in the mornings....supposed to get up to 80s today.
    Enjoy the day, everyone. :)

    Hi
7500 steps today, so far, I walked to the Post Office on my walk and mailed my brothers stuff. Is it just a local thing that most of the mail drop boxes have disappeared from the area?
Much cooler today than yesterday for the same time of day, It was even cool by evening yesterday after a cold front went through at some point during the day and the humidity was down nicely as a result too.

    Have a Great upcoming Week

    Hi Joanne
I would bet that all the large ones were the first to go :)

It was breezy here yesterday too, However the wind did a good job of getting rid of the humidity and heat.

    Have a Good Day

    Hi Irene
It was nice and cool here too, A little chilly on the outbound leg so the sun felt good for that and by the time I was on the homeward bound leg it had warmed up enough to be nice out.

Enjoy the easy day and I hope the PT helps with the back

    Hi Vix
I wish I could open the windows on a day like today. I have been having a problem with allergies this year, many years I barely feel them, this year is worse than most so no open windows until I can get out the door with sneezing and a runny nose.

    Have a Nice Day

    Good afternoon;
I worked this morning for a few hours. One of my co-workers in out for a few days with sciatic nerve problems.
Then I took my car in for a recall. It was a minor computer upgrade to the passenger airbag light on the dash.
Chilly today, I had on a jacket while I was out on my errands.
Roger-Sorry your allergies are giving you problems.
Irene-I hope the PT relieves your back pain soon.
Vix-I love opening the windows and airing out the house.
I think I am going to take a nap. I have been up since 2am.
Enjoy the rest of the day. :)

    Good afternoon.
It is a pretty nice day here. Warm and breezy.
Went to pottery wheel class this morning....tried to make a lotion/oil-vinegar bottle, but the neck broke off while I was trying to shape it, so....I have another little bowl. At least I'm getting a little better bringing up the clay.
Also went to my GP, just making sure everything's ok, and it is. :)
Nice relaxing evening to look forward to.
Hope you have one too. :)

    Hi
6900 steps today and 16 cents found in two places. Today is nearly the same as yesterday and it was pleasant walking. Today as was the case Yesterday the Sun felt good when I was in the sunny spots and it was a bit cool in the shady spots with the breeze.

    Have a Great Tuesday

    Hi Joanne
I find it funny that a computer upgrade is needed for a indicator light :)

I like to open the house for fresh air too, However until what is causing the allergies is out of the air no can do.

It sounds as if You had a long Day.

    Enjoy the day

    Hi Vix
Learning by doing is the best way IMO. You can have all the teaching but until You do hands on it it is only partially successful.

    Good News from Your GP
