    Hi Vix
I had a suspicion that would be the case. I know that ShopRite has Organic Meats at a decent price and a organic section too locally.

    Have a Nice Afternoon

Hi Roger....we don't have ShopRite in MD. Safeway has some organic, and most of the supermarkets have at least a minimal amount of organic foods and meats. We took a drive to Frederick today to go to Wegman's. They have a lot of organic foods, and their fish is better than what we can buy in the local markets. It's only about 35 minutes away. I stocked up on coconut chips and raw cashews! (2 of my favorite allowable snacks.. I dry roast the nuts myself). Also picked up some frozen cod fillets (wild caught), and a few miscellaneous things.

    Good morning;
I had to go to the chiropractor yesterday. My neck has been bothering me for a few days and Thursday night I was in a lot of pain and couldn't sleep. Hubby wanted to take me to the ER.
I didn't was to go because most likely they would give me muscle relaxers and or pain pillls and I hate taking pills.
After the adjustment I felt a little better, but was really sore. It should take a few visits and chiro said I should be pain free and have better range of motion. I have to ice my neck 3 times a day. I slept a lot better last night. I have another appt. on Monday.
    Enjoy your weekend. :)

    Good morning!
Jo, I sympathize with you on the neck pain. Mine's become somewhat permanent ( Ihave disk damage and a pinched nerve), but the chiropractor and acupuncture help lessen it. Pain free is great! I've been getting shoulder and arm pain overnight, goes away pretty much during the day, so must be the way I'm sleeping....need to figure that out.
Chilly here today, 19, but going up to 38. The sun is shining (yay), and it should start warming up again on Monday. Need to do some things around the house and will see what the day brings.
    Happy Weekend! :)

good morning,Vix we have Wegman's but it is like 20 minutes away I know they carry more health food then Shoprite. When we lived in Ca we shopped at Safeway all the time . Jo sorry you are having pain, hope your neck starts to feel better.Well I go back to work I really am looking forward to it,my home in browns mills is all done so it is time we will stay in browns mills on weekends. I know it might be hard in the begging getting back to working I will be doing 10 hour shifts but no overtime per Dr I could of started out lower hours but we will see I am looking at this as a challenge .Hey Roger did you get any snow? I never saw some but some of my friends did get some. I am ready for spring I think my favorite seasons are spring and fall.Hope everyone has a great day it is cold here only in 30s .

    Hi
I was out walking today and hit 7k steps. The temperature was 21 degrees vs 31 degrees yesterday and was a bit nippy for walking, The Feel of the temperature was about the same as yesterday due to little wind so far. We had a dusting of snow yesterday by 8PM which has mostly disappeared overnight with traces showing on lawns.

    Have a Great Weekend

    Hi Vix
I think the closest Wegmans is a little distance away. about a 15 minute drive to the closest one, According to Google Maps, I suspect in the real world the time would be higher. ShopRite, Acme, and others are a lot closer.

    Hi Joanne
I'm sorry to hear about the neck pain. I know that losing sleep like that is bad for You. It is good that the Chiropractor visit helped. I agree that the less medicines You take the better. Some of them the potential side effects are to put it nicely really bad.

Good Luck becoming completely pain free.

    Hi Irene
Our Local ShopRite has been adding healthy food options including a re-purposed area after moving everything except refrigerated, frozen, Hot foods & the deli section.

When do You go back to Amazon? In the news the other day they were listed as the largest employer in NJ.

    From Here: https://taxfoundation.org/how-high-are-property-taxes-your-state/
Also they have a map showing states rates :)
New Jersey has the highest effective rate at 2.38% and is followed closely by Illinois (2.32%), New Hampshire (2.15%), and Connecticut (1.98%). On the other end of the spectrum, Hawaii has the lowest effective rate at 0.28%, and is followed closely by Alabama (0.43%), Louisiana (0.51%), and Delaware (0.55%). How does your state compare?

Yea, We are Number One :(
Not a number one I wanted to see either.

Just a light Dusting of snow here and I agree I am more than ready for Spring o:)

Good Luck when You go back to work

    Hi
I was out walking today and hit 7k steps so far and The temperature was 15 degrees vs 21 degrees yesterday and was a bit nippy for walking despite wearing the new Thermal Tops and Bottoms. The Bottoms were delivered yesterday, I ordered Yesterday morning and paid the $5.99 for same day delivery due to the weather forecast. FWIW My front porch showed 12 degrees vs the 15 degrees on the Cable News Channel at 6AM and they also reported a wind chill of 0 degrees in a nearby town. I was comfortable between the Thermals, Heated Mittens, two layers of sweatshirts and a Hoodie :)

The Sun is shining and I did hear a woodpecker pecking away and some birds singing despite the cold as I was walking.

    Have a Great Sunday

It was 10 degrees when I went to work this morning, we are currently at 15. It is also very windy. I plan to stay in today. It is too cold for me.
    Irene-Good luck at work tomorrow.
I am off tomorrow but I have a chiro appt at 9. On Tuesday I have to go and work at another store. I may make a trip to the other store to make sure I can find it and to see how long it takes me to get there.
Roger-thanks for all the humor. :)

Whoa...really cold in New England, Jo, I would stay inside too!
Roger, you are a trooper walking in the freeze!
Irene, good luck at work. Too bad you couldn't start back part time, a 10 hour day sounds rough.
I'm mostly staying in today too. Nothing planned, have things to catch up with at home. May run a few errands later.
    Enjoy your day.

    Hi
I was out walking today and hit 8,480 steps so far and The temperature was 21 degrees vs 15 degrees yesterday and was OK for walking as there was no wind.

Today is Oreo Cookie Day, 100 Years ago the first Oreo Cookie was sold to a grocer in NJ, I heard that on the cable News Channel, Also i is National Dentist Day :)

I have been cleaning out the basement Freezer. I did not realize that some things had slipped to the bottom of it. I pulled a NS Banana Nut Muffin and a NS Blueberry Muffin both from my 7th delivery. I know that since I had marked the delivery number on them. Both of them had Enjoy By Dates of December 2014 :)
Despite that having been frozen they were tasty when I warmed them. I warm up all the NS Baked Goods.

    Have a Great Monday

    Hi Joanne
If I said I hate change...
As I said the wind chill was not too bad what with all the layers, However I felt it on the face where the hoodie did not cover it.

I have been know to do a test drive too. Have You looked up driving directions on the Internet using something like Google Maps? It gives directions and driving times.

    Hi all.
Jo, glad your neck is feeling better. Yay for chiros!
Roger, you're doing great with all the walking. I used to warm up all the NS baked goods too. I'm pretty much off any of that kind of stuff for now, even homemade. I used to walk outside every day in all kinds of weather, but stopped a few years ago.
Went for a follow up to the eye Dr. today. My optic nerve is cupping/thinning, so he's going to keep a watch out for glaucoma....have to go back in 6 months. The pressure was normal, so that's good.
It's warming up a little here too. Almost Spring. :)

    Hi
I was out walking today and hit 7,202 steps + 1 Cent and The temperature was 43 degrees vs 21 degrees yesterday and was OK for walking as the Rain in the forecast was only a drizzle for a short while .

In the weird news., To Me :) department, from Here:
    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-03-04/house-was-3d-printed-under-24-hours-cost-just-10000
This House Was 3D-Printed In Under 24 Hours At A Cost Of Just $10,000
While 3D-printing may have been faded away in recent years from the spotlight of core "disruptive" technologies, that may soon change again after a company managed to 3D-print an entire house in just 24 hours. Located in Russia, the following 400-square-foot home, or 37 square meters, was built in just a day, at a cost of slightly over $10,000.

    Hi Vix
That is something new to me, the Optic nerve Cupping/Thinning.
I need to go see the Eye Doctor and get new glasses, I'm just waiting until I can afford them. It is not the eye exam as part of that is covered by Medicare, It is the cost of the Glasses :(

Good News that the Eye Pressure is Normal.
