Hi all...went to yoga instead of swimming this a.m. It was good. I kind of missed it. :)
Good luck with your ultrasound, Jo.
Irene, sounds like you're really moving along getting your house set up.
Roger, thanks for the funnies and stories. :) I hope bees are really smart...we need them. I'm kind of scared what will happen to the environment over the next couple of years.
I keep experimenting with my soups, adding more vegetables. I added a lot of cabbage to this one and more water, so it was much thinner and somewhat lighter than normal pea soup, but still tasty enough.
    Massage this afternoon....ahhhh. :)
    Enjoy your day.

    Hi Vix
Does that mean that the New eating method is helping significantly with the Yoga?

I hope they are too, we need Bees.

I tend to add extra water to the NS dry cups of soup :)

I hope You enjoyed the massage

    What is Pancake Day?
    Pancakes on Pancake Day.
Pancake Day, also called Shrove Tuesday, Fat Tuesday and Mardi Gras (which is French for "Fat Tuesday"), is the last day of feasting before Lent begins on Ash Wednesday. It's called so due to the tradition of eating pancakes on the day. This tradition comes from a time where any remaining rich foods were eaten on the day before Lent to use them up, and fasting begins. The date can vary from as early as February 3rd to as late as March 9th.

We are seeing a few issues at the moment as a result of an outage with AWS (Amazon Web Services). Users may notice errors when trying to sync or in uploading or deleting images. We hope to have this resolved as quickly as possible. Please try again soon.

Also from our forum provider who is experiencing related issues (as are most sites at the moment)

Amazon S3 continues to suffer from a prolonged outage, affecting Vanilla's ability to process file uploads and serve some CDN content.

February is now in the record books as the warmest February on record :)

    Hi
I was out walking today and hit 6k steps so far. The temperature was 51 degrees vs 56 degrees yesterday and was tolerable for walking. I short circuited my walk today due to the high wind gusts. It was not the Windchill that was the reason, It was the wind blowing me around and not being a steady wind made it worse.

    Have a Great Thursday

    Hi Irene
I cut mine short for the same reason, If the wind dies down I might go back out too.
I am not sure if it will die down as I have not seen today's weather report.

Good Luck Getting You Walk In, I may just take the rest of the day off :)

    Hi
I was out walking today and hit 5.6k steps so far, since I will be going back out after the Bank opens I expect to have my step goal in later no problem. The temperature was 31 degrees vs 51 degrees yesterday and was a bit nippy for walking.

Speaking of Subway more on the web page...
    http://bgr.com/2017/03/01/subway-chicken-sandwich-dna-50/
Spoiler Alert: Subway chicken sandwiches are only 50% chicken, but they’re still 100% delicious
According to a troubling report from the CBC, DNA testing on Subway’s oven-roasted chicken found that the patty only contains about 50% chicken. As for what comprises the remaining 50%, well, let’s just say I’d rather not know. The oven-roasted chicken, though, wasn’t the only offending item on Subway’s menu. Similar DNA testing found Subway’s Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki strips are only 42% chicken.

While it’s not realistic to expect a menu item at a fast food joint to be 100% pure chicken — marinades and other add-ons can easily dilute the results — 40% is simply inexcusable. Subway’s performance here is even more glaring given that chicken dishes tested at other fast food establishments scored much higher. McDonald’s grilled Country Chicken sandwich, for example, was found to be about 85% chicken.

Subway has since come out and refuted the CBC’s findings, while at the same time promising to look into the matter.

“The accusations made by CBC Marketplace about the content of our chicken are absolutely false and misleading,” Subway said in a statement provided to Consumer Affairs. “Our chicken is 100% white meat with seasonings, marinated and delivered to our stores as a finished, cooked product.

    Have a Great Friday

Winds Gusts hit over 50MPH in parts of the Tri State Region here. That would be Conn. NY and NJ :)

That does sound like a good price for wild caught Salmon and COD.

    Hi Vix
We may have a dusting of snow later today, maybe or maybe not according to the weatherman :)

I thought it was a great price too. I am guessing that any seafood You do eat should be Wild caught and not farm raised in a pond?

Yesterday my Brother Hard Boiled over a Dozen of the 65 cent a dozen Extra Large Eggs so I am making a prediction of Egg Salad as a Protein on a 60 calorie Wrap as the SC for the next few days before I go back to left over and thawed Christmas Ham and Thanksgiving Turkey. They stay really nice when I Vacuum Seal them too. You would think they had just been cooked :)

    Enjoy The Zumba

    Hi Irene
I see I'm not the only one that shortened Their walking Thursday :)

There was a bitter bite to the air on the outbound leg when I was facing into the breeze :(
For Fish, the way I would cook it is not healthy as I would Pan Fry in Butter or Broil after putting a little butter on it.
For Canned Salmon we always Crumbled Saltine Crackers into it and added Eggs and made a Salmon Patty. Then I used Butter on it plain or in a well buttered sandwich. Have You sensed a Buttery trend here :)

    Have a Good Day

Yes, I need wild caught fish. Grass fed beef, no antibiotics or hormones in meat. Certain veggies and fruits need to be organic. It's kind of hard finding some of these things.
