    Good morning;
Roger-It is nice to hear happy stories for a change. Our weather yesterday was horrible.
There is only a dusting of snow on the lawns and the sun is shining, so most of that should melt quickly.
Vix-Sounds like you had a good time yesterday, enjoy your family time today.
Irene-I hope you feel better soon.
I went grocery shopping this morning, did 2 loads of laundry, cleaned the bathroom, cleaned the cat box, filled out the accident reports for the ins co., police dept. and RM, filed some papers and made lamb shanks, which are now cooking, for lunch.
I am now free to do nothing for the rest of the day. :)
    Happy Sunday! :)

Jo, you get so much done! Hope you enjoyed your relaxation time yesterday.
I did enjoy my family time. :)
Off to yoga this morning. And then I have some calls to make and other errands/tasks/etc to take care of today.
    Have a great Monday, everyone.

    Hi
I was out walking today and did 7K steps. The temperature this morning was 45 degrees on the weather broadcast at 5:50AM and 38 on the front porch, There was no wind blowing and overall it was not bad outside :)

I was planning on going to the Acme tomorrow when My Brother is out for cases of spring water Through Thursday they have cases of 24 1/2 liter on sale at a good price for this area of 4 for $8.88 or $2.22 each and since it can sit without spoiling why not take advantage of it.

    Have a Great Monday

Speaking of Weather, The Waterways are still running high from the previous soaker and more rain moves in tonight into tomorrow with a prediction of ponding on the roads and localized flooding in the low lying areas.

Hopefully Your will be better, who needs bad weather like You had. You had a busy day too.

    Hi Vix
Enjoy Your Yoga, Calls to make, hmm... You do keep busy, I am thinking tomorrow I may take the day off from walking if the forecast rain happens and have a do nothing day :)

I wish I could add a easy to use auto correct that would only auto correct what I input into it that worked with Firefox. I always seem to end up typing "teh" where I wanted "the" I can use the built in spell check of course however that is such a common thing for me to do that I had to correct it twice in the lines above :)

    Have a Nice Day

good morning, the weather here today is nice ,it is suppose to get in the 60s right now it is 61 so nice not to have rain but I understand we are getting more rain over night. My knee has been hurting I think it is going up and down stairs so I have been putting ice on it which really helps. As for the today my garbage disposal broke yesterday so I have the repair guy coming out today that is all I have planned for today. Roger I find the auto correct on my phone always puts in the wrong words after I get done typing.

    Good afternoon;
Sunny and 60 here, rain tomorrow.
My claim on my car has been approved and I have an appt. on April 11 to have it fixed. I will have to rent a car for 3 days. The auto body shop will arrange for my rental and have it delivered to my work. I must say this process has been very easy.
Irene-I am sorry you knee is still hurting.
Roger-I always transpose letters and have to go back and correct them.
I have tomorrow off from work and haven't decided what I will do with my day...maybe shoe shopping. ;)
    Enjoy the beautiful sunshine. :)

    Good morning;
It is a gray rainy day. It has been raining heavily for a couple of hours now.
I did a little cleaning this morning and now I am having a cup of lemon ginger tea with a touch of honey. I woke up this morning with a slight sore throat, so I am drinking extra fluids.
    Vix-Enjoy playing with clay.
Irene-Did you get your disposal fixed? How is the knee feeling today?
Roger-Did you get to walk today or are you having the heavy rain like I am?
I haven't decided what to do today. It is such a lousy day, I may stay in.
    Have a terrific Tuesday! :)

    Hi
I was out walking today and did 7,200 steps. The temperature this morning was 50 degrees on the weather forecast and 51 on the front porch, There was a mild wind blowing and The forecast rain was still falling at 6AM, and it had ceased by 6:30 so I walked and it did drizzle a couple of times, Not bad overall however.

The brook I walked past was running high and was slightly over it's banks.

    Have a Great Tuesday

There is one car rental company that brings the car to You and picks it back up afterwards, Enterprise Car Rental is the one I think. I believe they do that as the target audience for that is people that had an accident.
It has only been misty since around 6:30 so it could be worse. I had my brother drop me off at the bank s he was going there too and I walked back home to bring up my step count. CostCo when he goes out in a few minutes too.

    Have a Nice Day

    Hi Again
I'm back from my run to CostCo @ $113+ and 11,380 Steps now :)

While I was at CostCo I noticed that they had the NS $100 gift cards which is an extra $25 off of the regular discounted price. I did notice where it said Member Only Item Fortunately I am a member.
$25 OFF, $25 manufacturer’s discount is valid 3/23/17 through 4/17/17. While supplies last.

So I know have Two bags of the Cauliflower/Broccoli/and two types of carrots in the freezer as well as Their Frozen Green Beans. a Tray of Pink Lady Apples and a Bottle of their Real Vanilla Bean Extract for my brother. I also picked up for stock a 10 pack of Kleenex and a Pack of Charmin TP. It isn't a low coat shopping trip when You Buy in bulk to save Money :(
I did manage to not buy the Tres Leche Cake even if I would really like to try it after having seen it on several cooking shows.

On the Way Home I managed to overcome my Carts trying to turn into the hot food area :)
Then on the way home I had to fight the steering wheel on the car when it tried to turn into McDonald's and following that I had the Same problem driving past Burger King, the Bakery I passed and Wendy's :)
I managed to beat and arrive home safely with no extra fattening foods.

    Have a Nice Day
    Roger

Dog Gone it, I just noticed I misspelled Once in the notice that there was new humor posted :)

Hi Roger-Your were correct, it is Enterprise. :) I was on Costco site yesterday and noticed the same offer for members only, unfortunately I am not a member. I will wait and see if they offer
the $100.00 card for 59.99. It seems like they have offered it in the past few years in March,so maybe it will be soon.

    RogerToo Posts: 16,157 Member
    Hi Joanne
I am afraid that the discount is via NS so this is the March offer. If You notice it started March 23rd. I need to order some and inquire if the price protection on the ones I had bought is available.

Do You have someone that is a CostCo member near You that could pick them up for You, They are available in the store as well as online. Sadly for You both options require a membership to purchase.

On the Bright side of things I did manage to duck multiple temptations today so Yea for me :)

I wonder if that change to members only is due to NS in some way.

I had a suspicion that was who the car rental company was.

    Have a Good Evening
    Roger

P.S. Did You check out the Fails link I posted above?

    Hi
I was out walking today and did 7,200 K steps. The temperature this morning was 45 degrees on the weather forecast and 49 on the front porch, There was a light Fog in the area and TBH over most of NJ.
I stopped for a couple of eggs and whole wheat toast as breakfast and to kill time until I could stop at the Dollar Store for a second quart of milk to put on the shelf, I am sure it will be used up before February 2018 :)
I also stopped at the Grocery Store for 3 Nectarines and 4 Black Plums to add variety to the fruits I Picked up at CostCo yesterday.

The brook I walked past was running high and was slightly over it's banks again today.

    Have a Good Wednesday

    Good afternoon;
One of my co workers had to have emergency surgery yesterday and will be out for 6 weeks.
Another co worker left last week because of scheduling with his other job. The assistant manager of our dept. got sent to work in another store this week. As I was talking to the Store Manager today he was telling me about all the new additional things that he wants done in the dept. I just laughed at him and said we need more people.
His new thing is having chocolate dipped strawberries for the weekends and fruit infused water. All of these things are time consuming. I have a hard enough time getting my workers to keep up with the cut fruit and veggies. Ok, rant over, I feel better now.
    Vix-good luck with the dietitian.
Irene-I am feeling fine, my sore throat is gone. Did you get your disposal fixed today.
Roger-love the fails. Good job on avoiding temptation yesterday.
    Have a good evening. :)

Jo, good that you could laugh. Everyone deserves a good rant now and then. Glad you are feeling better.
I'm glad I saw the dietician. I can start adding a new food every day now. That is such a relief. It would have been really hard to eat at restaurants for a week if I couldn't do that. I'm really happy about adding lettuce back in....at least I can order a salad (without dressing).
