Jo, good that you could laugh. Everyone deserves a good rant now and then. Glad you are feeling better.
I'm glad I saw the dietician. I can start adding a new food every day now. That is such a relief. It would have been really hard to eat at restaurants for a week if I couldn't do that. I'm really happy about adding lettuce back in....at least I can order a salad (without dressing).

So true, You never know what is in the restaurant salad dressings, so better safe than sorry :)
FWIW I have been eating my salads plain since starting NS.

Good morning. Very foggy here. Start PT this a.m. Then painting class.
    Have a great day. :)

No fog that I could see, just a dark, dreary, wet and windy morning and supposed to go downhill from that later on :(

Good Luck with the PT and enjoy the Painting Class

    Good afternoon;
One of my co workers had to have emergency surgery yesterday and will be out for 6 weeks.
Another co worker left last week because of scheduling with his other job. The assistant manager of our dept. got sent to work in another store this week. As I was talking to the Store Manager today he was telling me about all the new additional things that he wants done in the dept. I just laughed at him and said we need more people.
His new thing is having chocolate dipped strawberries for the weekends and fruit infused water. All of these things are time consuming. I have a hard enough time getting my workers to keep up with the cut fruit and veggies. Ok, rant over, I feel better now.
    Vix-good luck with the dietitian.
Irene-I am feeling fine, my sore throat is gone. Did you get your disposal fixed today.
Roger-love the fails. Good job on avoiding temptation yesterday.
    Have a good evening. :)
    Hi Joanne
I guess it had to be a serious problem to be out for six weeks.

I used to worry about getting everything management wanted done, then I had an epiphany moment and decided what I can do I will and what I can not won't get done by me. I did prioritize of course and that decision made things much less stressful :)

I'm glad to hear Your sore throat is better
Thanks for the kind words, I only reposted from elsewhere. I loved the Pork products being touted for Passover and other holidays, It make You wonder who or what they are hiring.

It has been raining most of the day.
Irene-I am glad you got your disposal fixed. Do you think going back to PT would help your knee?
Vix-Yay for getting to eat new foods. Do you have to keep a journal of what you eat and how it affects you?
Today I got hit with, starting next week you have cashier training. When I first applied for

Hi Jo, yes I do have to keep track...I'm using MFP and the note box at the bottom of the food page. I also have a couple of papers that I'm keeping track of new foods/supplements added
with the dates. You can print out reports from MFP by dates.
Sorry about your work. Hopefully you won't have to do cashier work all the time. Hugs.

I was out walking today and did 8K steps and I will be going back out for a little further walk to the bank when it opens. The temperature this morning was 45 degrees on the weather forecast and 47 on the front porch, There was a light rain and heavier rain in the afternoon. The was some strong Thunderstorms yesterday afternoon too,

The brook I walked past is running somewhat high and was over it's banks.

    Have a Great Friday

Glad to hear it was fixable :)

On the NYC stations news yesterday they mention that Amazon was hiring people to do customer support and work from home. It was not clear if they were separate positions or what. Maybe You could ask about working from home ?

    Hi Vix
When My brother heard the Thunderstorms approaching he shut down too.
I always suggest also turning off the Power strip that everything is connected to since in the computer and printers their power supplies are always connected and working so that pressing the low voltage power switch can turn them on. I replaced many a dead power supply after thunderstorms when I worked in computer repair.

Good morning. Went to zumba this morning. I will have my first Pt session this afternoon. Yesterday was just an evaluation.
Irene, I'm sure a few days wait on the grass won't hurt. Lucky that you didn't put it down too soon where it would wash out.
Roger...I always pull the plug on my computer. Should probably do the TVs too, but I don't.? ?Have a great day, everyone.

    Good afternoon;
Irene-It is probably a good thing that you didn't put down grass seed. It would have all washed away.
Roger- The other day I had to blow up some balloons for a customer. He started to hand me money for the balloons. I told him he had to pay for them at the cashier in the front of the store, because I didn't have a cash register. He then asked me how he was going to pay and hold the balloons at the same time. I told him he could go and pay and then come back and get the balloons. I wonder how he was able to hold the balloons and open his car door. :p
    I found a dime today.
I don't think I will have to do cashier training next week. They are sending me to work in another store, luckily this one is only 15 mins. away from my house.
I found 10cents today walking to my car.
    Have a great evening. :)

Jo glad you don't need to do the cashier training and the other store sounds nice hope you enjoy yourself Roger I am thinking also that I might need pt again I know it still hurts and just staying off it isn't helping. I just had one Pt session and will resume when I get back from vacation. Mostly I have a few exercises to work on my core for now (to support the spine), and practicing to relax my shoulders and rib cage.
Looks like a beautiful day so far. Hope Roger is enjoying his walk.

    Hi Vix
I'm lazy I just use a power strip that all the computer things plug into so I can turn them all off with one switch. I also turn it off every time I finish using it. I went into the BIOS setup and have the computer set so that when I turn the power strip on it comes without needing to press the power button. I have two computers set that way. The Basement one I use mostly for working on video and this All-In-One I am on right now.

    Hi Joanne
That is a good question, unless he has one of those cars that open the door when You swipe Your foot under it. I see them on TV commercials, To me that would be a completely useless feature :)
Common sense, Problem Solving and Logic are not taught these days.

    Hi Irene
We had a load of Mulch and a load of topsoil delivered two years ago. It was interesting since I not thought about it, However the dump truck had two compartments so they could dump the topsoil and then in a different pile the mulch.

Now that my Brother has a F150 picking things up for the yard will be easier than making multiple trips in the car.

Good Luck with Your knee, Don't overdo it.

I was out walking today and did 7.2K steps. The temperature this morning was 43 degrees on the weather forecast vs 32 on the front porch :)
Considering the morning temperature and the frost I passed by it is forecast to be in the 60s today!

    Good afternoon;
It was sunny and warm today. My daughter and I went into Boston to the Spring Festival.
It was at the Seaport Trade Center. Artists come to sell their wares. I bought an outdoor thermometer and my daughter bought a piece of wall art made out of a circular saw blade.
It was all carved out depicting the tree of life. We walked 10.6 miles. My feet are a little tired.
Vix-Have a great time on vacation.
Irene-I don't go to the other store until Wednesday.
Roger-I wonder how much they were selling the computer for at that time?

    Hi
I was out walking today and did 8K steps + a Quarter found. The temperature this morning was 50 degrees on the weather forecast vs 39 on the front porch :)
It is warming up nicely today too.
We are heading into a week where their will be a day with a high of 80, not that 80 is near a record. According to the weather forecast I saw before I headed out for my walk the Record high is 87 Degrees for the same date.
