Jo did you like the other store? Roger it sounds like your walk was nice.
Hi Irene
I suspect we would just use the tiller to till the leaves in and let them break down in the Flower bed.
Be careful spreading the mulch, We bought a cart to move the Mulch and top soil we had delivered it has two wheels and two legs in the front. The two wheels make it easier and more stable to move compared to a Wheelbarrow. It was not to expensive either.IreneMurman wrote: »good morning, I am getting ready to do some yard work I would like to put some mulch down and get some grass seed down it is suppose to get in the 70s so not sure how much I will get done. Vix Texas sounds nice.
I often see Straw spread after lawn seed is spread to provide a protective cover for the seed.

It was sunny and warm today. My daughter and I went into Boston to the Spring Festival.
It was at the Seaport Trade Center. Artists come to sell their wares. I bought an outdoor thermometer and my daughter bought a piece of wall art made out of a circular saw blade.
It was all carved out depicting the tree of life. We walked 10.6 miles. My feet are a little tired.
Vix-Have a great time on vacation.
Irene-I don't go to the other store until Wednesday.
Roger-I wonder how much they were selling the computer for at that time?
Have a good afternoon.
That is a good question, I do know that in the early days they were not that cheap, Although Radio Shack computers were less expensive than the IBM PC when it was introduced
I found this..
Radio Shack TRS-80 Model III
Introduced: July 1980
Price: US $699 base model
US $2495 w/ 32K, dual drives.
CPU: Zilog Z-80, 2.03 MHz
RAM: 4K, 48K max.
Ports: Cassette tape, expansion, serial
Display: 12-inch B/W monitor: 64 X 16 text
Strorage: 0, 1, or 2 internal 178K floppy drives
External cassette @ 500 / 1500 baud
OS: BASIC in ROM, TRS-DOS on disk
The base model was pretty limited too.
It sounds like You did a fair amount of walking too. Not a surprise that Your feet are tired
Have a Good Day

Good morning. Went to yoga this morning. Have a massage this afternoon, have to pick up a few things and then get packed for tomorrow.
Wishing you all a great week.0 -
Good afternoon;
Happy Passover!
Vix-I have a massage this afternoon also. Are flying or driving to Texas?
Irene-don't over work yourself, you want that knee to get better.
Roger-I feel great, even after all that walking yesterday. I thought for sure I would be achy and stiff.
I am dropping my car off this afternoon to get the dent fixed. I should have it back by Friday.
I opened all my windows to air out the house. It is a beautiful day.

Today I am going to put lime down then grass seed and water it,tomorrow it is suppose to rain so that will help. Jo I only do a little at at a time and taking a lot of breaks it seems it is the steps that is the hardest on my knee. Vix enjoy your vacation.0

I just posted more humor this morning
Hi
I was out walking today and did 8.3K steps + I found a Dollar Bill. The temperature this morning was 59 degrees on the weather forecast vs 55 on the front porch
It is warming up nicely today too. It reached around 80 degrees yesterday and is forecast to be at least as warm today.
I ordered some NS eGift cards yesterday from CostCo while they are on sale. I could not resist the price of $55 for a $100 face value. I should try again as they do have a limit of 10 per customer. I am hoping that the limit applies on a per order basis, if Not I will have to try picking them up at the store and see if that works. I printed them out this morning.
I did see a herd of deer by one of the brooks while walking today.
Have a Super Tuesday
Roger0 -
Good morning;
Vix-safe travels.
Roger-congrats on finding a dollar. I think I will join Costco's, so I can get the NS gift cards.
Irene-that is good that you are taking it slow. Good luck with your grass.
I dropped by car off last night and picked up the rental car this morning. I decided to take today off from work.
Enjoy the sunshine!

Hi Joanne
I hope Your Other store is a pleasant experience.
Enjoy, Hmm... I had not thought about it, Going walking is just something I do for my health
FWIW a Breakfast Bar is a acceptable substitute for a Lunch under the NS plan as they are both basically a PF + a SC, Just a lower calorie item.
Either a lunch bar or a Breakfast bar can be used for dinner with the addition of a PF.
From Dietary_Services1 on the old NS forums
Hi Roger,
Here is how we make substitutions for our foods with the Day Off Guide:
Breakfast Entree = 1 PF + 1 SC
Lunch Entree = 1 PF + 1 SC
Dinner Entree = 2 PF + 1 SC
Dessert = 1 SC
Since there is a range of calories within each category, you may find lunch and dinner entrees that are fairly
comparable.
Hopefully This Helps

Hi Irene
I thought so, unlike in the past where I never saw a limit on quantities posted the web page says "Limit of 10" this time. However $55 spent for $100 in buying power is great. Now I can add a few extras to my order.
Good Look with the walking and the grass

Despite Being 100% on plan my weight is bouncing around
As an example the difference between Monday and Tuesday was +1 pound, Tuesday to Wednesday -1.25 pounds and Wednesday to Thursday +1.25 or maybe
It is a good thing I do not worry about day to day changes.
My Brother was showing me "Canned Beets" I put the quotes as they were in a pouch not a can
I've started my little secure laptop that I only use for online shopping and not even email to do the Windows update.

Police combat burglaries with satirical 'door locks' infomercial
April 12 (UPI) -- A Florida police department is combating vehicle burglaries with a tongue-in-cheek infomercial promoting a "new" product: door locks.
The Davie Police Department posted a video to YouTube responding to a recent rash of vehicle burglaries in the area in the form of an infomercial hosted by Sgt. Chad Rosen -- who notes he was once a "cute kid" in a decades-old Kodak film commercial.
"Today, I'm here to tell you about a fascinating, revolutionary concept that's going to save you hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars," Rosen says. "Sound too good to be true? Well, it isn't."

Hi Irene
I think of our two wheel as a yard utility cart. I like the way it has two legs so it can be set down and not roll when we shovel things into or out of it.
That was a wise idea, easy does it is always good.

Hi Joanne
I would like to see it too, not enough to drive to Texas however. I recall the time I drove across Texas heading from NOLA to Carlsbad Caverns, and it was mainly mile after mile, of mile after mile

Hi
I was out walking today and did 4900 steps. The temperature this morning was 48 degrees on the weather forecast vs 45 on the front porch
I did not go as far as usual as I was and am feeling somewhat poorly. A scratchy Throat etc.
I was down .75 pounds this morning and as my weight bounces around I expect to be up again tomorrow, The Saga continues
It is warming up nicely today too. And is forecast to be in the 60s today and tomorrow, 80 on Easter Sunday.
As I was creating this I realized I had put a inadvertent truth when I said 80 on Eater Sunday
