    Good evening;
I got my car back today. It looks like new. :)
I am back at my store tomorrow and Saturday.
Roger-I feel for that father and daughter. I felt sick just reading about it. Cute video about the door locks.
    Hi Joanne
    It could have been worse?
I liked the one about that completely new anti-theft device :)
There is a lot of truth to it too. I see periodically on the news where another car was stolen when the left it sitting there running since they were just running in to the store for a minute. I saw one sitting there running today, lights and engine on and no one in the car. I see that at least once or twice a week.

Have a Good Friday and Saturday working, it may be chaotic.

Hi Vix it was nice out today, no breeze versus yesterday where the breeze had me putting the hood up on the hoodie.

I will have to do a lot of walking in the next 2 days. I am in a challenge with my niece.

I had a feeling that work would be hopping.

I wonder what my brother will run into when he goes to the Grocery Store and the Produce Store later on today. It is a good thing we haven't waited until the last minute to pick up the Ham :)

It was a nice day out I just wish I could have enjoyed it.

I agree, leaving them sitting there running is a open invitation to watching Your car drive off into the Sunset.

    Happy Easter!
I went to the grocery store this morning. There were only a few people there. I got home and realized I bought the wrong kind. Vinny, being diabetic, can only have wet food with no gravy or sauces and of course I picked up the 24 pk of gravy. So tomorrow I will be returning it.
I also took the cats out in the yard for a little while. They don't usually go out unless on a leash. This time I let them roam around for about 15 minutes watching them all the time.
They are both content and sleeping now.
We are going out to brunch with my daughter today and then probably go for a walk.
    It is a beautiful day.
    Enjoy!

I posted even more humor this morning :)

    Hi
While I was out walking Easter Sunday the Easter Bunny visited my House. Or to put it another way my traditionalist brother left me a small box of yellow Peeps, a 3.5 Ounce Chocolate Lindt Easter Bunny and some Unsalted Almonds that were leftover from a jar of fancy Mixed nuts since he does not care for the almonds. At least there were no Jelly Beans :)

I was out walking today and did 8452 steps. The temperature this morning was 65 degrees. It is a nice day outside for walking, Not too warm and minimal breeze. OTOH I did get drizzled on twice :)
It is forecast to be cooler tomorrow.

My Brother did a Chocolate Pudding Pie yesterday in a Graham Cracker Crust topped with home made Whipped Cream. I suspect he managed to use too much milk in the Pudding as it did not really firm up well. OTOH it were very tasty :)
I went out the door later than usual as my last stop of the walk is a bank. So Walk, Stop for Scrambled Eggs, Home Fries in the Refrigerator, Produce Store for Bananas and then the Bank after it had opened.

    From Here

'Clean eating' is a ticking timebomb that puts young at risk of fractures now too.
    By Laura Donnelly, Health Editor
A cult of clean eating is a “ticking timebomb” that could leave young people with weak bones, the National Osteoporosis Society has warned.

Research by the charity shows that four in ten of those aged between 18 and 24 have tried such regimes, which are now coming under attack for cutting out major food groups, such as dairy.

The diets have become increasingly fashionable, and are associated with a number of celebrities, who have boasted how they have cut out gluten, dairy, grains and refined sugars.

    Have a Great Monday

    Hi Irene
    Easter was good :)

I did get my 10k of steps in by the end of the day, I had to walk a little bit in the house to achieve that goal.

Have a Great Day, BTW House Work and Yard Work are my least favorite things to do.
I have both on my agenda for today if the yard drys out.

    Good afternoon;
Sounds like everyone had a good Easter. Hubby and I went to lunch alone, my daughter had a migraine. Lunch was ok, there wasn't a lot on the menu.
Today I took my car for a computer recall, in and out in about an hour. I then came home and raked up all of the twigs that fell off the trees over the winter. I have quite a pile. I think this weekend if it is not too windy we will burn the twigs and the big pile of tree branches from last year that we didn't get to.
Roger-I think we are supposed to get the rain tomorrow. It is warm with a nice breeze.
My hubby got me peeps to and a reese peanut butter cup. I got him the new starwars dvd.
He is not helping my weight loss. :( I have no will power.
Irene-I would have loved to cook a ham for Easter, but with just the 2 of us we would have been eating it for a month. I like the spiral ham.
    Have a great day. :)

    Hi
I was out walking today and did 6400 steps. The temperature this morning was 84/51 degrees. It is a nice day outside for walking, Not too warm and minimal breeze :)

    Poor Atlanta, From Here:
    http://www.thedrive.com/news/9385/westbound-section-of-i-20-in-atlanta-buckles-almost-kills-motorcyclist
Westbound Section of I-20 in Atlanta Buckles, Almost Kills Motorcyclist

Atlanta, you can't catch a break. First, part of I-85 burns to the ground. Overnight, part of I-75/85 was temporarily closed due to an accident and chemical spill. Even without all this, traffic in and around the city is an absolute nightmare. Now, a westbound section of I-20 just to the east of downtown has buckled and will be closed until at least Tuesday afternoon.

On Monday morning, part of I-20 buckled and rose up just as motorcyclist happened upon the spot. The Atlanta-Journal Constitution reported that the rider was launched into the air and suffered multiple fractures. Thankfully, he was not hit by any cars during the accident. Several motorists stopped to help. The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

The damage to the interstate seems to have been caused by some work being done to old gas lines that run under the road. Crews were reportedly pumping concrete into old, unused gas lines. Unexpectedly, a build-up of air occurred in the line, creating uplift in the soil below I-20. The pocket of air forced the sections of roadway to crack and rise several feet.

    Have a Great Tuesday

    Hi Joanne
Just curious, what was the issue that they had to reprogram the computer?

My brother serves that same purpose, I already blew through everything he passed out for Easter except 5 of the Peeps :(

What I did one year with a spiral ham was crisp up some slices and make them into sandwiches and freeze them to take to work. I then froze more of it to do the same later on. Does making a weeks worth of lunches ahead mean I am officially lazy ?

MY brother was out cutting the lawn yesterday once it dried off, Next time it will be my turn. He was muttering that he wants to drag out the Tiller today or tomorrow.

    Enjoy the Day

    Good afternoon;
Roger-According to Nissan Under specific driving conditions, hydraulic pressure may decrease and result in belt slip within the CVT. This may result in MIL illumination. Continuing to drive the vehicle in this condition can lead to accelerated wear and damage to the CVT. Nissan is proactively reprogramming the Transmission Control Module with updated CVT software to prevent decreased hydraulic pressure and belt slip from occurring. I hope this makes sense to you.
Irene-I am sorry that your knee is still causing you pain.
I found 27 cents today in the parking lot of work. I was informed that starting in a few weeks .I will be splitting my work time between 2 stores, luckily they are both about the same distance from my house.
My landscaper came yesterday and cleaned up the yard and put down fertilizer.
