    Good morning;
It is drizzling here and chilly.
I didn't get to the garden center yesterday, so I will go today.
I walked for 2 miles with my daughter yesterday afternoon.
    Have a good day. :)

I did post more humor too

    Hi
I walked 3600 Steps during the morning walk. The temperature this morning is 55 on the news channel and 56 degrees on the front porch. I cut the walk short as I am very tired today, I did not get much sleep last night, I'm not sure why either :(

Yesterday was a strange day for food. We had left over Corned Beef from the day before, Two kinds of Baked spare ribs with different dry rubs, Home made Potato Salad, and Home Made Macaroni Salad, the Macaroni Salad using Bow Tie Pasta and Pesto rather than Mayo.

    Have a Great Tuesday

    Hi Irene
It was a raw wet day and not a great day to walk.
good morning, going to pt this morning. I was able to walk yesterday which was nice but it did rain here most of the day.

    Hi Joanne
We need to go get some plants for the garden, we are running behind here this year what with working on converting more beds to raised beds.

Not a great day here either and it is still only 58 degrees at 8:50 and not supposed to get out of the 60s today.

    Congratulations on getting out walking

    Good morning.
Still gray and drizzly here. Hope you get a chance to rest up Roger.
Was my last PT session for now. Leg is still bothering me, but I have exercises to do at home, and will switch up and try to swim 2X/week instead of one.
Irene and Jo...good for you for doing all that walking! WTG.
    Off to play with clay.
    Have a great day. :)

good morning, well today we are getting bar sand for the pool I guess they put it down and it will be the foundation for the pool . We will be having the pool put together on the 22nd . Hopefully the permits are ready by then. Starting to get excited about the pool it should help my knee. I did loose 2 pounds but I think it was because I was so sick.Hoping I can keep it off. Looks like we might be getting more rain today. Roger are you feeling better today?

It is another gloomy looking day outside. I'm guessing that You are happy with the PT being done. I agree that swimming is a good easy exercise too.

Have Fun playing with the clay.

    Hi Irene
Bar Sand, that is a new one for me. The first image that popped into my head was sand from a bar in the tavern, followed by a image of sand from a sand bar by the shore :)

The Pool should help with Your knee and exercise. I am feeling better today, I suspect that the changes I tried in my daily routine did not work as expected and could have contributed to my feeling of malaise.

I know You can do it, Keep thinking every pound off is less strain on the knee.
I ran across this last year and thought I would post it here :)
    http://www.webmd.com/osteoarthritis/news/20050629/small-weight-loss-takes-pressure-off-knee
A new study shows that for each pound of body weight lost, there is a 4-pound reduction in knee joint stress among overweight and obese people with osteoarthritis of the knee. Researchers say the results indicate that even modest weight loss may significantly lighten the load on your joints.Jun 29, 2005

The accumulated reduction in knee load for a 1-pound loss in weight would be more than 4,800 pounds per mile walked," writes researcher Stephen P. Messier, PhD, of Wake Forest University in the July issue of Arthritis & Rheumatism. "For people losing 10 pounds, each knee would be subjected to 48,000 pounds less in compressive load per mile walked.

I believe it to be true too, My knees feel much better with the weight loss.

According to what My brother said a little while ago we are expected to have on and off rain today.

    Stay Dry

    Hi
I walked 5300 Steps Cent during the morning walk. The temperature this morning is 62 on the news channel and 55 degrees on the front porch. I went lighter in my clothes while walking too.

I shortened my walk for two reasons, one I slept late, a minor reason and the major reason is planned heavy yard work today too :)

    Friday, March 17, 2017
    HOUSTON (KTRK) --
An ATM caught fire after someone used a blowtorch in an attempted burglary.

An eyewitness flagged down an officer around 4 a.m. at the Chase Bank on Lockwood near Lyons in northeast Houston.

They told officers that the ATM was burning.

Police said that a person tried to get the cash out of the machine by cutting into it with a torch, but it caught fire and the person took off empty-handed.

    Hi Joanne
I'm sorry to hear that Your routine was disrupted.
I find that I do not deal wit a disruption as well as I used to do. In the past, 80s & 90s I would bid on routes and some would be afternoon routes and some would be early morning routes, some as early as Midnight :) What I would do is look for afternoon routes in the winter and early morning routes in the summer, a beat the cold and beat the heat type of thing.

    Have a Good Day

Thanks....I think I'll take some Alleve after dinner, that might help.
It's a beautiful sunny day here. Went to zumba in the morning, and ran some errands. Picked up some mirror holders so I could frame a couple of my canvas paintings. Need to find one more frame...I usually go to thrift stores for them, much less expensive that way. :)
Glad you got your plants done, Jo. Always good to have a breeze in the heat.
Roger, yep, that was one of the funny ones, you would think living there they would know how to spell it. haha. That deli sounds good...you can always take some home in a box. :)
    Irene, hope you're doing better.
I also potted some more of my plant clippings. Between putting some outside and giving some away, it's not so crowded anymore. :)
    Have a good evening.

More Humor Once Again, This one has a weird traffic signs theme

    Hi
I walked 4100 Steps + 4 Cents during the morning walk. The temperature this morning is 57 on the news channel and 57 degrees on the front porch. I went out in my rain gear while walking. Before I forget to mention it, there is a light rain falling and somewhat of a breeze leading to a raw feel in the air :(

I shortened my walk for this reason, I plan to walk up to the bank later and some yard work today too :)

I expect the phone call around 9AM from NS telling me that my frozen portion has shipped which I already knew from a email yesterday :)
    Tracking shows, 6/03/2017 - Saturday
6:01 am At local FedEx facility CARTERET, NJ
1:42 am Departed FedEx location LEWISBERRY, PA
    6/02/2017 - Friday
11:31 pm Arrived at FedEx location LEWISBERRY, PA
6:43 pm Picked up BETHLEHEM, PA
Bethlehem is not very far from here over the border in Pa. which is why it usually comes the day after it ships.

Normally it would show out for delivery so I do not know if it will come today or not. I am ambivalent about it coming today, I want to try the new NS Foods, especially the melts, OTOH I could use a day or two more to free more space in both the Basement Freezer and freezer section of the refrigerator so....

    Have a Great Weekend

    Hi Joanne
I could have swore that the weather forecast yesterday was for a nice day today. Most of the plants are in the ground except for the Portulaca AKA Rose Moss.

There is a possible change in plans as regards the yard, The plan was first pick up more bags of topsoil and then put it in place, Consdering that it could get humid later on from the rain that may get pushed back to tomorrow. The walk to the bank is still on as they will be closed tomorrow and I need to get some money for my Sunday plans.

    Cheers

I have looked and looked at their menu and I can not decide what I might order, I may be overthinking it :)

They finally opened a Thrift store near here, Goodwill, I just wonder if they are really a bargain however.
