    Good morning;
It is supposed to be rainy all day. My daughter and I are going to the mall for some girl time.
Yesterday we went to lunch at a Lebanese restaurant. I had a lamb gyro wrap. It was so good.
Irene-I hope Annie gets better soon.

I have posted humor, Surprise

    Hi
I'm back from walking again and no cents. The temperature this morning was 41 on the porch. The fourth day of the four forecast days of rain is the heaviest so far. I was dressed in full rain gear except for the insulated boots as I figured they would be a bit too warm. The Waking shoes I wore are somewhat wet, However I do have a second pair I can use tomorrow while these dry out.

I saw this on the news last night and both my brother and I said that's not even a meatball.
National Meatball Day inspires $100 meatball at Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse

The pricey delicacy is comprised of Wagyu beef, truffle caciocavallo cheese, foie gras and winter truffles.

    https://www.amny.com/eat-and-drink/national-meatball-day-special-1.16916146

The scale was probably lower than yesterday morning, I can not be sure as it has been a few days since I weighed myself. The "Time-restricted eating" combined with a 100% NS plan is working really well so far.

Roger, some of that news is disturbing. There is no need for non-military to have semi automatic guns. Who do they think they are defending against? Too many crazy people! It makes me sick to think about it. I sure hope nobody here is a conspiracy theorist/gun nut. Maybe you can stop putting that stuff up here.
Yes, another gray and dreary day.
    Have a good weekend.
    Hi Vix
I have no idea who they think they are defending against.
I'm sorry that bothered You, As I read it that is a fringe church.
I will try and remember to avoid that sort of thing if it bothers You.

good morning, Annie is still sick I have boiled chicken for her hopefully she will keep it down on my way to do some food shopping take care all

    Hi Irene
I hope Annie feels better quickly.

Yesterday my Brother baked a whole chicken. I will be using some of it later today.
What I did was take some of the broth that was in the bottom of the roaster and put some of my brothers left over white rice from Chinese Take Out, three teaspoonfuls using a spoon from the washed silverware. A light shake of salt to taste and I had some tasty Homemade Chicken & Rice Soup.

    Good Luck

Another rainy day. Stopped at the organic food market yesterday and bought some decaf coffee and roasted buckwheat (hard to find in regular stores).
Thanks, Roger....usually I just skip things I don't want to read, but occasionally I just have to watch the train wreck. My own fault. Congrats with the weight losss.

At least we get three days of no rain. Water process decaff vs Chemical decaffeinate process?

What do You use roasted buckwheat for ? is there some reason You can not make Your own ?

Train Wreck is a good word for what is happening these days :(

I am doing better eating My Dinner by Noon and Lunch at 3:30 and then nothing else until I have a snack before going walking so as to be drinking my coffee on an empty stomach. Most days I am still not hungry by the time I retire for the evening or in the morning when I wake up

    Hi all.
Irene, glad Annie is feeling better. Good to give things away to AMVETS.
Roger, it's organic coffee that's made into decaf. I can't find any buckwheat in my regular grocery stores. I just like the taste of the roasted better, and it costs the same as the raw. I sometimes have it for breakfast (like hot cereal) or with a meal instead of a starch. It's more filling than veggies and more protein than most other grains.
    Hi Jo.
Went for a massage this a.m. That was nice.

    More Humor is posted, Enjoy

FWIW Yesterday I used a 1/2 cup of Leftover Chinese Rice, Canned Peas and diced up some leftover Chicken and Fried them together in the Cast Iron with some butter as the oil, Nice and Tasty and this morning the scale was kindly. Today I will use up the rest of the rice, peas and
chicken as a repeat meal and then back to 100% NS for Wednesday.
The rice was around 66 calories and the peas around 88 calories Plus the chicken so I counted it as a NS equivalent meal in caloric intake.

Thus it does seem as if the Restricted time diet is working for me so far.

    Have a Good Day

    Hi Irene
Agreed, so nice with no Precipitation and there was a clear sky when I left the house which is likely the reason for the overnight temperatures. OTOH it should warm up nicely with no clouds in the sky.

I have the amount of steps in so far that I consider my target count so all is good that way.

I would never think of giving Pepto Bismol to a pet, interesting. Is it helping ?

Congratulations on Your steps and donating.

My brother tends to make a small pan of Steel Cut oats oatmeal for breakfast flavored with Cinnamon and one or more other spices. As long as the cost is the same, why not save the extra work

Silly me, I would think that most coffee was organic ?

You do get out and about a lot, if it were not for my walking daily I could be considered a sort of stay at home type.

I agree about working at night being easier, OTOH if You are not used to working at night then it could be tiring.

I posted more humor and these are what I thought would be interested links. I notice that I seem to be finding more health related links

    Hi
I'm back from walking again and no cents. The temperature this morning was 31 on the porch. Today is forecast to be in the high 50s possibly 60 today is predicted to be dry with rain arriving later in the day on Thursday and heavy Friday.

I had two of the Turkey and Stuffing Shelf Stable meals that came in the Holiday pack and I had one of them Yesterday as my Lunch. It was free as I would not have ordered it. I will admit it was tastier than I had remembered from when I originally tried it, And they get some crunch into the stuffing, likely from Celery. The Turkey was as bland as I had remembered it as it is a shaped and formed turkey loaf, However with the Gravy it was OK.

I would Bet a lot of money that I am remembering correctly about the Chicken and BBQ Beans :( It is now 230 calories, in a different tray with a different gravy for the chicken whereas in the past the Chicken picked up a nice flavor from the beans and the chicken is much smaller and I believe the beans are fewer too. As I remember it in the past the Calorie count for it was 290 but it was tasty. Now I am sorry I still have some in the cupboard after having the first of the resized one the other day. Drat !

The scale was nicely lower than yesterday morning, again, It seems that the "Time-restricted eating" combined with a 100% NS plan is working really well so far.

Hi all, Annie went to the vet to get her nails trimmed so he gave her a physical all is good her themp was normal so what ever she had it is gone the vet did tell me it wasn't the doggie flu he thought she might of went in water that had something in it but she wasn't near any water last week what ever my pup is feeling better that is all I care about. Well I am in Trenton and got some more work done I got my oven cleaned and some of my kitchen cabinets empty so now I need to clean them and polish the outside. Jo I remembered when I was working at Target and we were remolding I pulled 2 weeks of all nights glad those days are done. Yesterday I actually raked up some leaves I think I am starting to get spring fever can't wait until I can start planting flowers and stuff. Our weather for tomorrow is rain in the afternoon so Annie and I will have to go for an early walk(that's besides our walk in the morning)We did find a penny today on our walk well take care all

I think working overnight did me in. I woke up in the middle of the night with a migraine.
My head is feeling a little better, but I am staying home from work today.
