More humor is now posted, one image is long but funny IMO.
Hi
I'm back from walking again and 11 cents. The temperature this morning was 27 on the porch.
The Sun is out and the sky was clear with stars showing in the night sky when I started out for my walk. Yesterdays weather forecasts are saying that we could get another storm on Wednesday.

Roger-I hope Wednesday turns out to be a non event also. There are still a few parts of town that do not have power.
Vix-good luck with your computer, I hope it lasts a little while longer. My last one was almost nine years old and had a few hiccups now and then, until I spilled my tea in it.
Hi Irene.
No plans for today.
Enjoy your day!
Yuck, What a pain in the neck dealing with the snow. Parts of NJ where they are hoping to to get the power restored before Wednesdays Nor'easter.
Liquid in a laptop would be a bad thing. That is why I use a coffee cup where the bottom is much wider than than the top which aids in making it stable. If I want water then I use bottled water and put the lid back on when I finish sipping at it. Liquids in the keyboard are a bad thing too.Joanne3366 wrote: »Good morning;

Hi Roger.
I have an hour before I have to leave for work. I think I will play on the computer until it is time to leave for work.
Have a great day.
Have a Nice Day

Good morning.
It's sunny and cold here so far today....showing rain and snow in the forecast for Wednesday.
Roger, I have an HP Pavilion laptop. I don't use it for anything heavy duty. I liked the pictures of the abandoned homes in the Arctic in Norway.
Irene, hope George feels better soon.
Jo, hope you all don't get much more snow. I'm hoping we don't get any either!
I got out to the park again yesterday. Going halfway on the trail seems to be working for me at the moment. Would love to build it up to the full trail by the Spring. So nice being out in the forest.
No plans for today for me either.
Happy Monday!
Hi Vix
From the weather forecasts I saw last night the further North and East You are the more Snow You get, You should get little or no snow Wednesday.
Hopefully going the whole trail will happen quickly.
Just Curious what model You have. The Actual exact model is on a tag on the bottom FWIW. The markings on the top are more generic and apply to a large range of features, Speeds and more. Certain models had systemic hardware problems.
I thought they were interesting too.Good morning.
Glad George is feeling better, Irene.
Hope you have a good day at work, Jo.
Enjoy your walk, Roger.
Off to stained glass and clay today.

Well when we came to Trenton today we noticed some of our tiles from our roof has come lose I called our insurance company so they can come out and start a claim it seems there is always something that needs to be fixed lately all the time we had this house no problems but now that we are getting ready to sell it we are having all kinds of problems oh well we just need to fix it and then sale it. take care all
Hi Irene
That's good news regarding George.
Interesting, Your house had a tile roof vs the more common Shingles ? The Tile roofs and Shale used as shingles should last many, many years as do the Standing Seam Metal Roofs.
Hopefully the insurance company acts fast so as to avoid any water damage in the house and to let You keep on schedule for selling it.
Good Luck

Before I forget, more humor is posted
Hi
I'm did not go walking today and Thus no cents. The temperature this morning was 32 on the porch. Since we need to go shovel more heavy snow later I decided to take the day off from walking
The weather forecasts regarding the storm on Wednesday appear to have been accurate. Parts of NJ had over 26 inches of snow. Here in Central NJ it looks like under a foot of that very heavy wet snow. The power went off an on a few times yesterday with the final outage having a duration of 5 hours. The Plows went through overnight and the end of the driveway looks like we never shoveled it
When we were out shoveling there was a steady crack noise in the air and another branch would be breaking off the trees in sight and falling. between the tree across the street and next door there must have been 6 large branches break off. Those would be the ones 6 to 12 inches and too many to try and count of smaller branches.

Hi Vix
Lucky You, NJ took a a pounding from the heavy wet snow. Branches, Trees and power lines down all over the place. Listening to the battery operated radio after the power went it seem that over 1/4 million people were without power before I went off to get some sleep.n At least we do not have a large tree branch across the driveway like I can see at a neighbors house. To the good side it did miss he cars which are now parked in.
Have a Good Day

I hope George had no problems getting back home from work. I heard callers on 101.5 saying that they were 3+ hours into their normally 15 minute commute and still not home. Once the snow started falling it built up fast.

Hi

The weather forecasts regarding the storm on Wednesday appear to have been accurate. Parts of NJ had over 26 inches of snow. Here in Central NJ it looked like under a foot of that very heavy wet snow however the local cable news channel showed 22 inches in a nearby town
You would not want snow like we got, It was a heavy wet snow and at the end of the driveway where the plows threw up a mound it also got waterlogged and super heavy.
I did go out walking for a short distance today, the only decent route was walking in the road so for safety I only boomeranged up for coffee and back home. Even though I only went a few blocks I had to reverse course and choose an alternate route due to a tree across the road where I usually walk when heading that way.
I hope My Brother and I have no problems with the three stops planned for today. I will be riding along as two of the three are ones I need to make also. Stop 1 his doctor for a quick blood test, Stop 2 pick up the new eyeglasses. Stop 3 the Shoprite Grocery Store. I am thinking of having him stop at Wendy's since I believe they still have their Double stacker on sale for $1, That would be two 1/8 pound hamburger patties and a slice of cheese. I plan to throw out the Bun and substitute the low calorie and low carb bread. Add in the Vegetables from the freezer and a Apple and Voila a complete meal.

Good morning, well we lost power for about 20 hours came back on around 2pm . We do have a generator but it was leaking gas so we took it in for repairs. What was funny in the fall George has it out checking to make sure it was working oh well it will be fixed for the next time . There is some people that still don't have power. I was actually fine we had the fireplace to keep us warm and I have a gas stove so at least I could have tea . We did break done and ordered pizza it was ok . We did cancel the roofer and plumber for today and will be doing it on Monday oh I did find 5 cents today on our walk0

I finished my stained glass peacock. I'm really happy with it:

Good morning;
Vix-Nice stained glass peacock.
We had a little under a foot of snow. It was heavy and wet. I had to park my car in the street because the plow left a large mound of snow at the end of the driveway. Hubby had to use the snow thrower to clear it out. The snow was just too heavy for me to shovel.
Ugh, more snow for the beginning of next week.
We lost a few large branches off the tree in the back yard and one in the front yard.
Irene-good luck with the plumber and roofer.
Hi Roger.
Enjoy your weekend.

I have indeed posted even more humor
Hi
I'm back from walking again and no cents. The temperature this morning was 31 on the porch. The walking was not that easy since even in the areas where the sidewalks were shoveled they did not all have cutouts at the curb to cross the streets. Some busy driveways were sheets of ice too.
My Brother and I were out doing four stops yesterday. Lots of damaged trees all over the area. The Decorative trees in the ShopRite parking lot had lots of damage.
The scale was nicely lower than yesterday morning, again, It seems that the "Time-restricted eating" combined with a 100% NS plan is working really well so far.
Two elderly gentlemen from a retirement center were sitting
on a bench under a tree when one turns to the other and says: 'Slim, I'm 83 years
old now and I'm just full of aches and pains. I know you're about my age.
How do you feel?'
Slim says, 'I feel just like a newborn baby.'
'Really!? Like a newborn baby!?'
'Yep. No hair, no teeth, and I think I just wet my pants.'
Three old guys are out walking.
First one says, 'Windy, isn't it?'
Second one says, 'No, it's Thursday!'
Third one says, 'So am I. Let's go get a beer..'
Morris , an 82 year-old man, went to the doctor to get a physical.
A few days later, the doctor saw Morris walking down the street with a
gorgeous young woman on his arm.
A couple of days later, the doctor spoke to Morris and said, 'You're really doing
great, aren't you?'
Morris replied, 'Just doing what you said, Doc: 'Get a hot mamma and be cheerful.''
The doctor said, 'I didn't say that.. I said, 'You've got a heart murmur; be careful.'

To the good You had some heat.
Sorry to hear about the generator. I suspect that You have JCP&L for power. Lots of people all over the state with no power.
I hope the Pizza was enjoyable. We did lots of eating out after Sandy left us with no power for over a week.
I Wonder if the Roofer could have done the roof anyway as around here the the roofs are all covered with snow.
Good Luck Monday

Hi Again
There is a cold bite outside due to the breeze
To the good, I saw a tree service truck outside trimming up storm damage to town trees and when I showed them the Broken off branches hung up on other limbs they kindly took them down too as well as trimming back the branch that is over the lines from the pole to the house that were sort of worrisome for possible problems in the future, Whee
Now the Lawn is covered with the Tree limbs they took out as they were only trimming and did not have a Trailer or chipper with them.
We took them out some bottles of Jersey Creme and Prickly Pear soda made with Sugar not Corn Syrup, Bottled Water and a box of chocolate oriented cookies.
You were very lucky, there is so much storm damage that much of town will not look the same in the future. For example it looks as if our neighbor has too much damage to here decorative Cherry Tree and she suspects it will have to come out
Have a Good Day
