And yet more humor is now posted

    Hi
I'm back from shoveling instead of walking Thus no cents. The temperature this morning was 34 degrees and no breeze. The snow started sticking to the road and sidewalk around 4PM. What saved us around here was the warm streets melted the snow until the cold snow landing on them cooled them enough to stick. The Forecast storm never really got as bad as was expected so the winds never really happened.

The scale was nicely lower than yesterday morning, again, It seems that the "Time-restricted eating" combined with a 100% NS plan is working really well so far.

good morning , didn't walk yet but I will the roof is finished they found some of the wood joints were bad so they had to replace them so all the extra work cost me an extra $5000.00 but it is done they were working until 8 pm last night so we had a late night. Roger plan on opening Costco account what is the better value? well take care everyone stay safe with all the snow we are suppose to get

    Hi Irene
I'm sorry to hear that the roof was that bad needing lots of extra repairs.

I do not know what is the best CostCo account, I have not looked at them in many years as I have had mine since the 80s.

I do not know how much snow You got, around here there was a couple of inches on the road and sidewalks and it was not as heavy as they were forecasting except where I had to shovel the end of the driveway and sidewalk where it was wet and slushy from the plowing.

    Have a Good Day

Good morning....I ended up staying home yesterday, they closed the schools in the afternoon. White out here this morning...snow is going sideways. Probably about 6 or 8 inches already.
The school shooting was not near us. St. Mary's county is southeast of Washington, D.C.
Good that the roof was fixed yesterday, Irene!
What a 2nd day of Spring!

    Hi Vix
It sounds as if You had much worse weather than we did here. The Winds that were forecast never happened and that did not break my heart

I'm guessing that we had about 6 or 8 inches of snow on the lawn, The sidewalks, Driveway and street were a lot less as much of the snowfall melted when it landed on them.

That sounds like a good idea staying home, unless something is urgently needed why go out and risk an accident.

    Have a Nice Day

    Good morning.
We probably got about 8-10 inches. Luckily, one of the neighbors was snowblowing the sidewalks and did ours about midday yesterday, so it's not too bad. Hubby went out just after that, got our snowblower running, and did the driveway, so there's only an inch or so, except at the end where the plows piled it up. We both have AWD, so should be able to drive through that until it melts. It's supposed to go up to the 40's the next several days, and the sun is shining this a.m.
Schools are closed today, probably not all the county roads got cleared, so no painting class.
Have a chiropractor appt for this afternoon, so that'll probably ok as scheduled. Things should clear up nicely by then.
    Happy Thursday, everyone. :)

    Hi
I'm back from walking and no cents. The temperature this morning was 34 degrees and no breeze. The leftover snow has nearly melted away from Thursdays sun and the overnight temperature. The walking was good with no icy spots.

My Brother says Grocery Store Run today and I will likely go to the produce store for Eggs and the Dollar Store for a quart of milk. At the Grocery store a pint of milk is 99 cents on sale higher than the Dollar Store's $1 for a quart.

Yesterday I baked a Hillshire Farm Kielbasa when my brother was baking his Meatloaf and Meatballs. I figure I will use some today and tomorrow and Vacuum Seal the rest for the freezer.

I wish I could have been more help.

It seems we had around 9 inches of snow and this morning many of the lawns with a southern exposure were clear of snow already. Hopefully Yours disappears quickly too. The roads and sidewalks are clear and dry, hopefully Yours are OK too.

    Hi Vix
If Your Driveway went as well as ours it is now clear and dry. We shovel the End of the driveway where the plows pile it up just in case it freezes hard. Earlier this year we watched the neighbor across the street trying to get out through that pile and ending up chopping away at it for a while.

Hopefully Your areas driving is now good.

    Good morning.
We drove over the pile at the end of the driveway a few times yesterday, and it's mostly gone now, just a little around the edges...it was so nice and sunny yesterday and our house faces south, so the driveway snow often melts with the sun. Driveway, sidewalks and roads are clear. A lot of the snow melted. :)
No special plans for me today. It seems nice and sunny again today, so I'll go out somewhere.

The Snow piles that are left from where the street plowing pushed it is hard as a rock, I was curious so I poked it with the end of my walking stick  Other than that and a couple of spots where the snow was thrown by shoveling the snow is gone, Yea!

    Hi Vix
Soup sounds good to me, I have some Matzohs that I picked up for free at the Grocery store with a coupon. I picked them up to use as unsalted crackers in soup being a cheapskate.

I tend to waffle back and forth about ecology, I do recycle as it is a town law, luckily the county has changed some things, We used to have to sort the items by type and had many containers to be taken to the curb and clutter the porch. Now they have changed to where it can all go out co-mingled and they sort it later at the recycle facility so I usually end up with a large tub of everything except paper which I place in a cardboard box that gets recycled

Today, Maybe I'll change the bathroom faucet, I have not decided if I want to do anything today.

    Hi Vix
I though that most of the next 7 days were supposed to be dry around here ?

The Soup sounds delicious too, I have been thinking about going to the supermarket for some soups OTOH I do have a couple of the NS Chicken Soups I could use. And I would have to pull some Chicken out of the freezer, defrost it and then cook it to use in a soup if I decided to make some from scratch.

I had to call my brother to help lift the sink to change the faucet, however it is now changed and the Lever handle types that go from off to full on in a 90 degree twist are easier to use.
I went cheap and used this one, hopefully it is durable

Good morning, Hey I went to Costco yesterday only picked up some gift cards for ns. I was able to get 5 I might order some on line Roger have you ordered any on line yet? The roofers are suppose to come today to finish but they are not here yet . I am glad we are only having rain this week really over winter here. take care everyone

    Hi Irene
What a Great deal this time $55 for a $100 face value is hard to beat.
I ordered 5 of them online on the 25th and they deliver via email from ticketops in a PDF file that I just printed. I want to try for another 5 in a day or two and see if I can get past the 5 card limit. They usually come the same day I order them in a email.

Possible Precipitation on Wednesday so I pulled out the new Frogg Toggs package and threw out the old that got ripped when I got to close to the Raspberries while shoveling snow earlier :(

Good news that You are on the home stretch of getting the house ready to sell.

You are not the only one over winter
