I have posted more humor
Hi
I'm back from walking and no cents. The temperature this morning was 42 degrees and the snow in the forecast for today was starting to fall as I went out the door. When I left the snow had not started to accumulate, that has changed by the time I returned home there was around an inch on the sidewalks and roads and more than that on the lawns.
So much for the weather forecast that the snow would not start to accumulate on the roads until later in the day. Hopefully their prediction that the snow will melt away quickly after it ends is better
I hope You had a Happy Easter

Hi all. Happy Easter.
We went for a walk in the park. There were lots of birds...I saw one of those large woodpeckers, very pretty. I think it is the Piliated woodpecker.
Hi Vix
Lucky You, I hear them Near and far but never seem to see the Woodpeckers.
I'm guessing no walk in the Park today ?
Either way, Have a Safe and Dry Day

Hi Irene
Wow, I do not think I have ever had Robin eggs before, Talk about a Sugar Bomb, I have a sweet tooth and they were still to sweet to eat more than a couple. I did eat the Cadbury Chocolate Carmel Egg and a few Jelly Beans to clear out the sweetness from the Robins Eggs.
Hi Joanne
Sunday was a bad Day for me and I was afraid to climb on the scale.
I went to the new Whole Foods for Fresh Fruit and made the mistake of walking past the Breakfast Bar that they put out before they switch to other hot foods for the lunch hour. I ended up with too much. Eggs, Sausage, Bacon, Quiche Loraine, Corn Bread and some Brazilian Cheese Bread. It was all tasty, However I do need to stay away from the temptation known as the Grocery Store0 -
Good Morning, well it sure is snowing here but it is suppose to stop by 12pm ,pretty big flakes. When we walked this morning we only had a few drops of rain glad it started after. Today I am in Trenton going to start cleaning I will start up stairs with the bathroom we are pretty much ready to sale so I thought I would start cleaning. I blew my diet big time but today is a new day. I put all the candy in the freezer in the basement I will be tempted less. Roger I don't plan on getting on the scale for a few days. Oh Vix the sound of spring love hearing the birds. Jo how was Boston?0

Good morning;
It is snowing steadily here. It looks so pretty, but I hope it melts fast.
We had a good day in Boston. Around 3 it started to get windy and cold, so we headed for home. In the Boston Public Garden we saw an albino squirrel. Everyone was taking pictures of him. I guess he is a local attraction.
Roger-I do not buy food from salad bars, hot or cold bars. I think of all the people that might have had their hands in the food and am not tempted to buy any at all.
Irene-good luck with your cleaning.
Vix-We have a woodpecker every summer. I wonder if it is the same one every year. He will occasionally come down and eat out of the bird feeder.
I was out early this morning and got all my errands done, now I just have a little house work to do.
Have a great day!0 -
Good morning.
Sorry you're all getting snow...we're getting rain (sometimes good to be a little south).
Irene, glad you're down to the final touches on your house. Spring is the best time of year to put a house up for sale.
Roger, you're really good about getting back on track, so you know what you have to do. I'm sure just one day didn't blow it all out.
Jo, hope you enjoyed your day in Boston.
I wasn't going to say anything, but my husband had some bad news at the Dr. last week. He has to go for more tests this week. Please send some healing thoughts his way. Thanks.
I am a bit on edge, but know that we will get through this, so just please forgive me if I go off a little. I think I'm usually pretty good at holding it together.

Hi
I'm back from walking and no cents. The temperature this morning was 31 degrees and the snow from yesterday has vanished from the sidewalks, driveways and streets. That snow was done falling by midmorning and we had around a inch on the sidewalk and over four inches on the lawn when I checked with the yardstick.
There is Rain Forecast to fall later in the day and again at some point on Wednesday

Hi Irene
When I started out it was a light rain and snow mix and not sticking, I did shorten my walking when the snow started accumulating on the roads and sidewalks. I fell once this winter when I did not realize that the drizzle was starting to freeze on the roads, Luckily I fell backwards and was not hurt. The surface was so slick I could not get back up until I scooted towards to the curb and the grit along it that gave me some traction. So I decided to play it smart. I must have made a hilarious sight scooting on my backside across the road
I blew mine too, I plan to Vacuum seal the rest of the Easter Candy my Brother Gifted ? me and put it away. I am not sure how the Jelly beans and Peeps would freeze...
I avoided the scale this morning too, I was positive I would be unhappy if I climbed on
Good Luck with it Later this week

Hi Joanne
I would imagine that an Albino Squirrel would attract attention.
For some reason that does not bother me that others use the same salad bar or hot food bar, Why I do not know.
Later today a Drive to the bank and the produce store is planned as both of us need things from the one and cashing/depositing Pension checks too.
Windy and cold are good reasons to to head back home.
The snow is pretty much gone except where it was shaded which includes the windshields on both of our Vehicles, Oh well
Have a Nice Day

Hi Vix
FWIW today & Tomorrow rain is in the forecast, 100% for today and 80% for tomorrow. So that makes three days of precipitation.
The problem with going off track is it seems to make it hard to get back on track.
I'm sorry to hear that Your Husband had bad news, Hopefully the tests will clarify options and put Your mind at ease. You have my healing thoughts winging Your way, Good Luck.
The snow is weird, the snow on the northern side of the houses seems to have melted away whereas the south facing lawns are still snow covered, weird.
I did hear a Woodpecker doing its thing as a approached the last few feet to the house this morning. I have seen Bird food that is designed for them for sale. We tried it in the past and the dratted squirrels figured out how to get at it first
Have a Good Day

The is Rain that was Forecast as a 80% chance is falling in the form of a light mist/drizzle. Overnight the Fog was really bad and at 4AM You could almost see the nearby corner. It did get easier to see by the time I left the house

Hi Irene
Join the club getting back on track. It was semi chilly here Tuesday too. Today I dressed light with just the Hoodie and a rain jacket and I was starting to feel warm towards the end of the day.
I did see some Forsythia in bloom and the Dwarf Daffodils and I can see the colors showing in the Hyacinths. I await the real springtime too.
Good Luck to Both of Us

Hi Joanne0 -
Good morning.
Another cloudy, drizzly morning. Thanks all for the thoughts and prayers.
One of the machines was broken yesterday, so one of my husband's tests was rescheduled for today at a different location. We should have results by Friday.
Jo, glad you had a good day in Boston...an albino squirrel...cool....I've seen black ones somewhere we were traveling.
We have a woodpecker that comes to our birdfeeder....I think its a red bellied woodpecker, smaller and with a black and white back and red crest, actually whitish/pinkish on the belly.
Roger, I hope you're ok after the fall...hot soak sometimes helps if you have any aches or pains.
Irene, you're doing great with the diet. I would love to be anywhere near a size 6!
Happy Wednesday, everyone.0 -

Hi Vix
The Cloudy drizzly weather I can deal with, what I do not care for is when the wind gusts so hard I can hear it whistling around the Wall Unit AC and the house shuddering when it hits as happened yesterday.
According to the news broadcasts last night there were trees down with power outages. I only saw some small branches down while walking today.
The fall was a while back, Since then I have been more cautious when walking and more willing to shorten or skip walking. A soak might help, however I find it not nearly as easy to get up from the bathtub as in years past, thus I shower instead
Good Luck With Your Husbands Tests

Hi Irene
Looking out the window there are a few small clouds in the mostly clear sky and except for the breeze it is a beautiful day outside.
If I could I would freeze the Peeps, however I suspect that would ruin them... yesterday I pulled a Breakfast Burrito from the freezer, one of two that I bought a while back when they were on sale at the Quick Chek 2 for $4. I vacuum sealed them and threw them into the freezer. I mention them since I eat something before walking and what I did was slice it in half and microwave it. Tasty too, My other option was a NS Yellow Pound Cake. I find that walking without eating I tend to run out of energy earlier so...
Leftover Candy, hmm, if Your Husband does not want it do You have a Senior Citizen center You take it too ?
Congratulations on the Penny.
Good Luck with the Realtor.

Today despite being colder the feel was warmer due to a lack of breeze.

Thanks for all the good thoughts. Pretty good news for my husband. It hasn't spread, and he has an appt with the oncologist for 4/25 to set up the treatment plan.
We went out with friends last night. It was fun.
Happy Weekend, everyone.
I had a suspicion that could be the reason for the further testing. I'm happy to hear that it has not spread.
Have a Nice Day
