    Good morning;
We are gearing up for another storm, 12-14 in. expected. It is supposed to start tonight and last until Tues. night. I just might stay home from work tomorrow.
Irene-thanks for the info on the Costco gift cards. I am not doing NS at the present time.

And more humor, No real links from tomorrow

    Hi
I'm back from walking again and no cents. The temperature this morning was 29 on the porch.
So far they are still forecasting snow tonight into tomorrow :(

The scale was nicely lower than yesterday morning, again, It seems that the "Time-restricted eating" combined with a 100% NS plan is working really well so far.

Good Morning, the Cosco gift cards don't go on sale until the 15th . There is people here in Browns Mills that still don't have power it is such a mess. Lest hope this next storm isn't as bad there is so many trees and wires down .hope everyone has a great day

    Hi Irene
Much appreciated, I haven't opened the box from Amazon that was on the porch when I left for my walk, however from the weight it has to be the Knob for the dryer and not the new bathroom faucet.

Between those purchases and the impending CostCo NS Gift card sale and the New Eyeglasses My credit card balance will be up this month not down as previous months have been, Oh well.

The town is still a mess, not easy walking from the last two storms and another one on the way. Hopefully it has not real or lasting impact. According to PSE&G figures on this mornings news broadcast they have restored 99.9% of lost power and JCP & L is under 5,000 no power. Hopefully everybody has their power back today.

I would not be heartbroken if the impending snow took a turn to the east and avoided NJ

    Have a Good Day

    Hi Joanne
Hopefully this snowstorm will have a minimal impact on everyone. I heard on last nights weather forecast that there was a chance of Blizzard conditions in the Boston area. I hope they were wrong, enough is enough.

Staying home makes sense to me if driving is treacherous.

    Have a Nice Day

    Humor once again, Enjoy

    Hi
I'm back from walking again and no cents. The temperature this morning was 35 on the porch.
The forecast for snow today has come true, It was a light snow falling when I left and by the time I returned to the house the snowflakes were much larger.

Yesterday was a slow day for me, Sunday we roasted and sliced 1/2 of a whole pork loin, the other half was roasted Monday later. 1/2 unseasoned for me and 1/2 with Montreal Seasoning. Monday the second 1/2 of the pork loin was vacuum sealed and is now residing in the freezer. It is so handy having a slicer even if the cleanup is a nuisance.

I shall be having a Ore-Ida "Just Crack a Egg" for breakfast. I decided to try something new and it caught my eye when it was being advertised which is rare for me.

Today we get lucky here in NJ, According to the Weather report I saw before heading out most of the Snow will miss NJ with only 1 or 2 inches falling here.

The scale was lower, It seems that the "Time-restricted eating" combined with a 100% NS plan is working really well so far.

    Hi Irene
You must be so near the finish line with Your house, I'm guessing that the roof is the final thing on Your Checklist ?
$1200 is really low is that for a repair or a new roof ? The last two times the roof was done here we had them leave the left over shingles and they did come in handy when the Wind damaged a few, The Left over shingles were a good match and You could not have said where the damaged area was.

I hope the snow that falls on the driveway and sidewalks melts away and doesn't need shoveling. It is building up on the Cars and lawn.

Congratulations on the Walking and Step Count

good morning, Roger I am not sure about that roofing guy he never went up on the roof we have like 3 levels to our roof I think he thought the 2 nd part was all that was needed. I am in Browns Mills today George called me and told me the plumber needs to come back because the toilet is still running but I guess he is going to handle that. Yes I think we are almost done I just have cabinets to wash and polish and our front porch needs to be painted but of course we can't do it until it gets warmer out side but we are getting there. No big plans here just going to take it easy my ns should be here today, we did loose our power for a little while last night about 20 minutes so glad it came back on. Jo I hope you didn't get much snow! Vix enjoy stain glass class.

    Hi Irene
I would want more estimates, Our 900 Square foot House's roof was a lot more than that and it is basically a simple roof.

A running Toilet should be a simple fix so a short service call should do it.

Agreed, Paint needs warmer temperatures than we are having.

The Snow here was a Non Event, According to what I saw on the news it was bad on eastern L.I. and coastal Massachusetts.

Did You have a lot of wind or snow that caused the power outage.

    Good Luck getting the NS.

I gathered from the TV news that You were going to get pounded with snow and rain. Hi Irene
In this housing development most of the roofs are replaced in a one or two year period as they were all built at the same time with the same materials.
I hope You are luckier than we were the last time, The roof had been leaking for a while before it showed up inside the house and we knew it needed replacing so we also had to pay to have some spongy sheathing replaced :(

    Good afternoon;
Our total snow accumulation was 15 in. We had some wind, but I don't think it got to 80mph.
We lost a few more big limbs off of the tree out back.
The streets were mostly clear when I went to work this morning.
    Irene-congrats on losing 20 lbs.
    Roger-We didn't lose power.
Vix-I hope you were able to get out and walk and it wasn't too cold.
I had a follow up appt. with my Dr. today. I am now taking medicine for high blood pressure.
It is a small dose 5mg. I am hoping if I lose some weight and exercise more I won't need it for long. That will be my motivation.

    Hi Joanne
Wowsers, 15 inches of that white crud, Yuck :(

We don't even have trees in the yard and we have to rake leaves every fall and we have had limbs fall in the yard in the past. This last time we had a pile in the front yard after the Tree trimming service was finished, luckily the town policed them up. We did not even mind them doing that as they trimmed out the ones that grown over and under the lines to the house and removed two broken ones that were hanging on other branches just waiting to fall on the driveway. I had to pull my car up partway onto the patio so My brother could get his Pick Up truck far enough forward that they would not fall on it if they fell.

Good, No power loss for you

My blood pressure is lower from my weight loss and or walking. It was never high enough to need medications luckily and now is is even better.

    Good Luck Getting Yours down

Yea, I only found a penny and I almost missed it in the dark when I was walking where it was.

    Hi
I'm back from walking again and no cents. The temperature this morning was 33 on the porch and somewhat breezier than yesterday.

I had my second Consumer Cellular bill today, so much cheaper than the Verizon Land Line, I wish I had changed some time in the past. It is only a little bit over $17 approximately 1/2 of what I was paying for a No Frill Verizon Land Line. And with the Cheapo Alcatel Flip Phone costing $30 I have already passed the Break even point. Toss in the Free trial period as a AARP member and Whee !

    Hi Vix
As I was out walking today I noticed had to detour around sidewalks blocked by piles of tree branches that the town had not gotten cleared up despite their working on the problem daily.

If I said that Yesterday and Today I was not happy with the walking due to the wind chill, but I did it, I'm to stubborn not to get out and do it. Or maybe I am just a creature of habit ?

It would appear to me that You got Your exercise in and stayed warm while doing it.

Congratulations on the no problems. I often end up with tenderness from a cleaning.

Today I stopped at the convenience store for breakfast, I will now explain...
They have a Two for $4 muffin breakfast sandwiches deal, I bought a Bacon, Egg and Cheese English muffin and a Sausage, Egg and Cheese English muffin. Then I sat down, opened them up and ate the insides and two small bites out of one of the Muffin halves. So in effect I had two Eggs, a sausage patty, two thin slices of what was left of the cheese that had not melted into the muffin and a thin round of Bacon. Sort of like the round bacon that McDonalds uses. The way I look at it I got Protein and dodged the empty calories from the two English Muffins.

    Have a Nice Day

good morning, well today we have another roofer guy coming over to give us his quote . Today I am going to take the wax off of the kitchen floor that will probably take me most of the day. After I got off the computer yesterday I took Annie for a walk here in Trenton and I found a penny! Our walk this morning was 1 hr and 40 minutes it was a little on the windy side but I did get in 12,622 steps but I am hoping to take Annie on another walk later. Wow Jo sorry you got so much snow. Vix glad it didn't hurt when you got your teeth cleaned. Roger good job with loosing weight

    Hi Irene
That sounds like quite a chore.
    Thanks

Congratulations on You walking and Penny.

    Good Luck with the Roofer
    Roger

    Hi Vix and Joanne

    Good morning.
Looks like another cold day with the sun popping in and out. There's a little bit of snowy pebbles on the ground that's been blown around. Guess that's from overnight. Had art class and rheumatologist yesterday (not good).
Irene, you are really polishing up that house! So much work.
Roger, good for you to keep up that walking and congrats on the scale.
Hi Jo...Hope the snow isn't too much of a pain.
Not much planned for today. I do have an acupuncture appt this afternoon.
    Happy Friday, everyone.

Not plan on doing much today I think all the work I did yesterday wore me out I still have a little corner to do in Trenton but I can finish it on Monday. The roofers will be there on Monday so it will be nice to have that done. Aw Vix sorry you had a bad day hope today is better Jo hope the snow is melting for you. I hear on Tuesday we are suppose to get another storm is it me or is this winter really getting old! Hey Roger. take care everyone
