    More humor again

    Hi
I'm back from walking again and no cents. The temperature this morning was 42 on the porch. Yesterday was in the low 60s. Today is predicted to be dry with rain arriving later in the day and heavy Friday possibly turning to snow Friday depending on where in NJ You are located.

The scale was nicely lower than yesterday morning, again, It seems that the "Time-restricted eating" combined with a 100% NS plan is working really well so far.

Was up early again. No special plans for today. May try to go for a walk, would like to get back into it. Also some chores to do around the house.
    Happy Wednesday. :)

Went for a walk in the park today. May have overdone it a little, but it was so nice to be out in the forest.
    Glad Annie is better, Irene.
Hope things get back to normal at work soon, Jo.
Roger, you're doing really well with the diet. Congrats
Have a good night, everyone. :)

    Hi Vix
It is easy to overdo it when we get a really nice day and Wednesday was a great day as far as temperatures.

Thanks, I believe that the limited time diet is helping too, Tuesday I had a Large Beef Broccoli With no Rice and a 10 piece order of Chicken Nuggets as my Lunch & Dinner and This morning I was a 1/4 Pound lower than Tuesday Morning. I ordered it with no rice to avoid that temptation

The Nuggets from the Chinese take out were better than the ones from Burger King, McDonalds and Wendy's for one simple reason. When I picked them up they were still in the fryer from my phone order and when I ate them first on arrival home they were still very hot and very Crispy.

Today will be a busy day at least until Noon, My Brother and I are planning to visit the eyeglass place to order glasses with the new Prescriptions and then out further to pick up something he ordered that has arrived and then the ShopRite Grocery Store on the way home. I plan to take a Turkey Sandwich along to eat midmorning per my diet plan.

    Have a Nice Day

Hi all, Annie went to the vet to get her nails trimmed so he gave her a physical all is good her temp was normal so what ever she had it is gone the vet did tell me it wasn't the doggie flu he thought she might of went in water that had something in it but she wasn't near any water last week what ever my pup is feeling better that is all I care about. Well I am in Trenton and got some more work done I got my oven cleaned and some of my kitchen cabinets empty so now I need to clean them and polish the outside. Jo I remembered when I was working at Target and we were remolding I pulled 2 weeks of all nights glad those days are done. Yesterday I actually raked up some leaves I think I am starting to get spring fever can't wait until I can start planting flowers and stuff. Our weather for tomorrow is rain in the afternoon so Annie and I will have to go for an early walk(that's besides our walk in the morning)We did find a penny today on our walk well take care all

    Hi Irene
You must be happy to have gotten an all clear from the Vet for Annie.

You must be so close to finishing the house in Trenton now.

All nights as a regular thing did not really bother me, It just meant I had to adjust to sleeping the afternoon and evening away

We do have the first bulbs of spring blooming, the snowdrops look so pretty adding a nice white flower to the flower bed next to where the Irises are growing.

Congratulations on finding money, I have been going through a dry spell for that.

    Good evening;
I survived my night at work. I didn't sleep much today. I can't seem to sleep for long during the day. I am back on my regular schedule tomorrow.
Irene-I am glad Annie is better and congrats on your money findings.
Roger-I used to like the chicken and baked beans.
    Hi Vix.
The conversion at work is done for the most part. Tomorrow I will have some training on the new ordering system and how to make tags and signs. I will be glad when things at work get back to normal.
    Have a good night. :):)

    Hi Joanne
They have ruined the Chicken and Beans, The Chicken is smaller and the Gravy they set it in makes it less tasty than when it sat on the beans, I wish I had known before I spent the Money buying three of them A La Carte :(

Good Luck with the training, I know I do not like change.

    Hi
I'm back from walking again and no cents. The temperature this morning was 37 on the porch. Yesterday turned very windy. The rain at the start of the day turned to snow before 10AM. Luckily the snow never stuck to the ground and this morning the ground is dry. The winds are starting to abate, however the power did go out before 5AM for a few minutes.

The scale was nicely lower than yesterday morning, again, It seems that the "Time-restricted eating" combined with a 100% NS plan is working really well so far.

I did not get as many steps either due to the rain.

Ours turned to snow that never built up around here although I gather that in some areas the snow depth in NJ was up to a foot deep.

I hope George is OK and it is only a mild cold.

All we got here was lots of wind and a little rain. Lots of trees were down in the park (went for half a park walk today....that was better), had to step over a few that were on the trail. The sun was out for a while and it wasn't as windy as yesterday.

    Good morning;
I stayed home from work on Thurs, as I still wasn't feeling well. Friday I was fine and went to work.
We had a lot of wind and heavy rain, but no snow. I had to take a lot of detours on my way to
work due to road closures. My neighbor had one of his pine trees fall over. It is touching the house and fence, but it doesn't look like it did any damage. If it had fallen the other way it would have landed on my garage. He said he is going to cut all the pine trees down between our properties. They were put in by the previous owners. I am glad. I was alway nervous whenever we had a lot of wind that they would either land on my house or crush my cars.
My daughter has been staying with us. She has no power and it isn't expected to be fixed until Tues.
Most of our town is without power. A lot of the traffic lights were not working. Any restaurants that still had power here very busy yesterday. I had cable go out twice for about 5 min. each time, but never lost electricity.
Irene-I hope George feels better soon.
Roger-congrats on the continued weight loss.
Vix-I hope it is nothing serious with your computer.

    Hi Joanne
That's nice that You were better on Friday.
I remember having a tough time getting anywhere after one storm in past years.

I'm not surprised by the slow power repairs, As I understand it they can not use the bucket trucks when the wind is gusty with the speed it was blowing. And they can likely set new poles to replace damaged ones, however not being able to fix the wires they took out...

Here in NJ no traffic lights can lead to chaos on the roads where they do not have traffic control police posted.

    Enjoy Your Daughters Birthday

Roger, my computer is just getting old, I think....it's often slow starting up, and sometimes just blacks out. Will keep it til it dies. No urgency to get on at this time. And I can always use my husband's or my notepad if I have something important. I think I got most of my pictures on Google drive so I won't lose them.
It looks sunny today, that' s nice.
    Happy Sunday, everyone. :)

    Hi Vix
It is no fun losing power, After the long loss from Sandy and also from a few years earlier storm I worry when it goes out even for a few minutes wondering if it will come back quickly.
I saw on the 5AM news before heading out that there are still 75,000+ without power in southern Jersey, about 1/2 of the original number.

I was curious what brand of computer ? This one I am on is a All-In-One model and the one I use for heavy duty video work is one I built around 7 years back and I made sure to use high quality parts. I have upgraded the storage in it changing from hard Drives to SSD drives that have no moving parts and adding USB3 ports for faster backups and transfers to external drives.

If I said I do not trust any one method of backing up important items. Thus I backup important things by burning them to DVD or BluRay discs and a external drive that I keep powered off when not in use to enhance its life and just in case Ransomeware ever gets into the computer it can not touch unpowered drives and I leave a third copy on the computers drives.

    Have a Nice Day
    Roger

Good morning, George is still sick but I think he is starting to feel better. On our walk today it was just Annie and I ,George stayed home which is fine . Annie and I did about an hour I only got in 8000 but it is still early. Jo hope all is good Vix good luck with your computer but at least you have a back up plan in case it dies. Glad Roger you didn't get any snow also. take care and have a great Sunday

    Hi Irene
I'm sorry to hear about George, It's no fun being ill.

I'm hoping that the Weather forecast for Wednesday turns out to be a non event. I have to much in the freezer right now to be happy if a power long duration power loss occurs.

Congratulations on getting out and doing that many steps
    Roger

    Good morning;
We got about 2-3 inches of snow last night. I just finished cleaning off my car and the front walk and stairs. The driveway has pretty much melted.
Roger-I hope Wednesday turns out to be a non event also. There are still a few parts of town that do not have power.
Vix-good luck with your computer, I hope it lasts a little while longer. My last one was almost nine years old and had a few hiccups now and then, until I spilled my tea in it.
    Hi Irene.
    No plans for today.
    Enjoy your day! :)

    Good morning.
It's sunny and cold here so far today....showing rain and snow in the forecast for Wednesday.
Roger, I have an HP Pavilion laptop. I don't use it for anything heavy duty. I liked the pictures of the abandoned homes in the Arctic in Norway.
Irene, hope George feels better soon.
Jo, hope you all don't get much more snow. I'm hoping we don't get any either!
I got out to the park again yesterday. Going halfway on the trail seems to be working for me at the moment. Would love to build it up to the full trail by the Spring. So nice being out in the forest.
No plans for today for me either.
    Happy Monday! :)
