Just took an herbal soak. Interesting it looked like a giant tea bag.
Might be on babysitting duty later today, will see how things progress.

Our granddaughter arrived last night, Lillianna, 8:42 pm, 7lbs, 4oz. Mama and baby are both doing well, as are Dad and big brother. Can't wait to meet her.

Howdy all y'all. It's sumptuous Sunday! We got the trees staked up yesterday. I will need to go and check how well that is holding up, but I think it will be fine, at least for now.
I have some house cleaning to do today, as we are expecting guests tomorrow.

I am on vacation this week. I had planned to do early fall cleaning, but am having pain in my right shoulder and arm. I can't lift my arm above my head. I am going to call the Chiro tomorrow and see if I can get an appt. this week. If that doesn't help I will be calling my primary.

Howdy all y'all. It's marvelous Monday! It's currently 23 (73 F) cloudy degrees out there with an expected high of 28 (82 F) under partly sunny skies, and a 45% chance of rain that could include some thunder and lightning.
I have some dishes going in the dishwasher and still have a little bathroom cleaning and some vacuuming to do before (or even after) guests arrive this afternoon. They will be leaving early Wednesday morning, headed back to Pittsburgh, PA. We there is a neighborhood in Atlanta called Pittsburgh and it would be great if they lived that close, and it's a nice area from what I can tell. Probably a bit on the expensive side though.
As it's Labor Day, no work today, and I took tomorrow off as well, to entertain the company. J is really needed at a thing this afternoon, so I get to entertain them for the afternoon and early evening by myself. We will probably have lunch somewhere for part of that time.

Ha. My arm is still sore from flu shot on Monday. Dr. told me I should get it early this year. Done.
It's currently 66F, sun and clouds mixed. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. High 86F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph. T-storms expected this evening.
Our housecleaner is coming this morning. And we'll probably go spend some time with the family today.

Irene, the flu's supposed to be worse this year, and it may come earlier. Also, it's important to be vaccinated if you're going to be around babies or young children. (We also got a Tdap booster before my grandson was born 2 years ago.)0

Howdy all y'all. It's thrilling Thursday! It's currently 22 degrees out there under cloudy skies with an expected high of 27 under mostly sunny skies and only a 4% chance of rain.
I have some more laundry going in the dryer (guest room sheets and guest towels) that will need to be folded and put away later. Right now I need to finish my tea and get ready to work. Nice to be able to work in gym shorts and a tee. If they need a video conference, I can put on a nice shirt for it. LOL.

My house is clean, and I got to hold the baby yesterday! Such a sweet little girl. 🥰Our grandson is doing great with her. I think he likes being the big brother.
We had some crazy lightning last night, the kind that lights up the whole sky.

Howdy all y'all. It's fantastic Friday! We currently have an astonishing 13 (55 F) degree early morning under clear skies. We're expecting a high of 28 (82 F) with skies remaining clear. Maybe the nights are starting to cool down. Fall is approaching but we are used to Summer hanging around a bit here in Georgia.
Today I have only my job to do on the critical agenda, though I do have a grocery delivery scheduled for this morning. I think putting the groceries away might be a good idea. And I am supposedly receiving a new 24 inch monitor at some time today, but I don't have to get that set up today. Of course I will get it set up today if I have the time.

There is a very unhappy person somewhere in the area.
I had a grocery delivery this morning, and the driver left a bag of someone else's groceries. This bag included some rather expensive items. As the items were all shelf stable, I texted the driver that I had left the bag out on the table, if she wanted to come back and get it.
I also reported that to Instacart, but don't actually expect any resolution.
I looked out several times over the next hour plus, and after an hour and 10 minutes I decided it wasn't going to be picked up so I brought it in.
I have no need for these items, and will be checking on where I can donate the majority of them.
She had also made a substitution in my groceries that I did not authorize, but that was fairly inconsequential. I had specified no substitutions for that item. The item she picked was a slightly larger package of a somewhat similar item, at the exact same price as what I had ordered. It is something that I can eat, so I reported it but as a comment, not asking for any refund.

Our new glass shower door is being installed this morning.
It's currently 65, abundant sunshine. High near 75F. Winds NNW at 10 to 15 mph. It's been cooling into the 50s and 60s here overnight too, Ed. I like it, easier to sleep.

I have been going to the chiropractor this week. My shoulder was so bad that I couldn't even brush my hair. After 2 visits it is feeling a lot better. He also gave me exercises to do.
I have another appt. on Monday and he will evaluate if I am able to lift at work. If not my vacation my be extended.
Ed-I believe that once an item leaves the store, it is not resalable. When we have items returned we have to put stickers on them that say not for sale, even if the item hasn't been opened.

I have nothing on the critical agenda today. I am still deciding, and working on, the layout of computers on my desk, to make it the easiest to be able to use the work computer and my home computer without too much switching around of keyboards. I don't know whether Kroger puts things back out for sale or not, but I wasn't even thinking about the items going back to the store anyway. I had the thought that, perhaps, she might come back to deliver them to whoever had ordered them. But they may have a similar policy, that once it has left the driver's sight, they can't pick it back up, as they can't be 100% sure that it hasn't been tampered with.
I decided to keep most of it as I will eventually use most of it, but I will try to find a new home for the children's vitamins. That jar of honey, along with the smaller container I already have going, will likely last me for a year or two.

Ed, I didn't have a good experience ordering home delivery of groceries, hopefully we'll be able to continue to go out and shop.
