    Roger...yay! new TV! :)
Irene, aw...hope you feel better soon. The pain meds should help, and it's good you're already started on PT.
Jo, I'm the same with butter. But want the real thing if/when I have it. :)

My Review of the Tiramisu Snack
From NS This classic dessert has everything you love—creamy mascarpone cheese, delicious coffee and rich chocolate flavors—and it's a good source of protein and fiber, so you can feel good about indulging!
Link here to the review with images of the snack and Nutrition.
    http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10442312/tiramisu-snack-item-120-calories-1-9-ounce#latest

I just had one, It was tasty and a decent portion. It comes in a round tray about 3 inches across and the entree is about 1/2 inch deep inside of that tray, I just defrosted and ate. As I say it was Tasty, however it has been a long time since I had Tiramisu and despite that I do not think it tastes like Tiramisu, OTOH I liked it and am happy I Bought Five.

Tomorrow I will be reporting on the Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie Snack 140 calories 2.1 Ounce
    and the
Baked Blueberry Oatmeal Breakfast 130 Calories 3.5 Ounces

I ordered a A La Carte frozen order to fill in some shorts in my on hand food as I have delayed the next order so I added these three Frozen items. I could have held off but I did want to try them too :)

So Tonight the Brownie and tomorrow for breakfast the Baked Blueberry Oatmeal.

    Enjoy

hi all , didn't read much I get to tired I am doing ok a lot of pain pt every day she is great she keeps pushing me take care everyone

    Hi Irene
I feel badly for You and Your pain. However I did more or less expect it since when Mom had both Knees done she had bad pain too. However after the rehab she was much more mobile and able to give up needing the walker etc and was back to getting around. The Bottom Line is a short term pain for a long term painfree gain.

    Good Luck

Still didn't catch the skunk. I moved the trap to a different location.
    Roger-enjoy your new TV.
Irene-It will get a little better every day. I am sure the dr. gave you pain meds.
Vix-I use butter also, mostly on toast or if I have a roll. I don't cook with it or add it to anything.
Lazy afternoon, it is too hot out to do anything.
    Have a great day. :)

    Hi Joanne
The TV arrived by 2PM and I had it hooked up to be sure it was OK as the box took a bit of a beating from the UPS handling :) I wanted to be sure that the screen was not cracked. I also took pictures of the box before opening it. To show how damaged it was I used a yard stick so show the bends and dents better.

It works fine. My brother brought down the Dolly and after I verified it was OK we moved it to the side and put the dead Sony on the dolly and wheeled it out of the living room. Wow, what a lot of dust had built up under the old TV too. The old one was a 27" Triniton SD TV and this is a 40" HDTV what a improvement in size and picture. I need one more HDMI cable to hook up the DVD Player and it will be done. Currently that is hooked up with the Old style Red/White/Yellow RCA Plugs. The Satellite TV Box and the Cable Box were already HD models so no problem there.

It was hot and humid enough to be uncomfortable at 6AM :(

    Good Luck with the Skunk!

    Hi Vix
You can read my reply to Irene regarding the TV :) I'm happy so far, I think I may need a speaker bar or something the sound is poor which I knew going in. I spent some time reworking the Timers in the DVR to record the HD version as I had set them to record the SD versions to save disk space since I had a SD TV hooked up to it.

Too Hot, I felt it when I popped out to bring in the mail and said Oh My Gosh!

    Stay Cool

    Hi Vix
The forecast showed 96 as a high for today and tomorrow and very humid too. I made sure to turn the Living Room AC on before I went out the door, it was showing 81 degrees there and only 77 degrees outside :)

Fortunately the Bedrooms all have Window ACs

More later after I try the breakfast item

    Hi
Today I am currently at 8K+ Steps, I finished up yesterday at 11K+ steps.
Today's weather it was 77 degrees out the door and high humidity, It is supposed to go up around 96 degrees later on today.

I have selected a radio show called Escape from 1947 to listen to while walking. I think I will listen to more of them.

Some Mini Reviews with links to the review page with images and Nutrition information below.

    Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie Snack
I liked this one too, It was a decent size and density, slightly crumbly and I should have had it on a plate to avoid making a mess :) I will be reordering it.
    Product Details from NS
Get your chocolate and peanut butter fix in this delicious snack! These brownies are chocolately, chewy and guilt free: high in fiber and a good source of protein, with no artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners.

    Baked Blueberry Oatmeal Breakfast
I just had this for breakfast and it is round, 3" across with tapering sides and 1" high. It is more or less a already prepared slight Cinnamon Oatmeal with plenty of Blueberries that is ready to eat once heated. I liked it, and a easy to get ready meal too. Just open and remove the package to heat and eat. I will most likely reorder it in the future, OTOH I should be able to use the Lower Sugar version Quaker Instant oats and add Blueberries. Doing that OTOH would be more work and more calories, the added calories coming form the Blueberries :)
    From the NS description
    Product Details
With just 11 simple, whole food ingredients and no artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners, the real stars of this breakfast shine through: whole grain rolled oats, wild blueberries and a touch of honey. Baked to golden perfection!

    Good afternoon;
It is a hot and humid 96 degrees, yuk!
I have cancelled my NS orders. I have not been following the plan, so felt I was just wasting my money and I haven't lost any signifiant weight is a very long time.
Today was a terrible day. When I got into work the case where we keep the cut fruit was running hot, so I had to pull all the fruit and store it in the cooler, so it wouldn't spoil. The fruit cutter at night didn't do his job and I had no fruit to work with in order to make up the bowls and cups. And to top it all off, I tripped over a box and landed on my left knee. My knee is cut up a little, swollen and tender. I filled out an accident report and talked to the nurse. I have to ice it 4x a day and take tylenol. It only seems to hurt when I go up or down stairs. Through this all I managed to smile and keep my sense of humor. :)
Tomorrow is a new day and a fresh start. :)
    Enjoy your day! :)

    Hi Joanne
I am sorry to hear that things are not working for You. Do You have NS Gift Cards left? If So You can either sell them to recoup the cost or do what I would do and use them to order some A La Carte frozen items such as desserts for a healthier treat. If You order $50 and up the shipping is free :)

It sounds as if You have had a rough day at work. Hopefully there is no lingering pain in Your knee. I Have fallen on a knee on a Cement floor no less, it hurt for a day or two, I figure I was lucky I did not permanent damage as I had that happen before I lost the weight I have lost so I came down pretty hard.

It sounds as if Your weather is the same as ours, and Yuck is a polite way to put it :)

    Good Luck Tomorrow

    hi all.
Jo, so sorry you had a terrible day and got hurt. Glad that you haven't lost your sense of humor. Hope it heals quickly....I'm sure it's very painful. Ice and tylenol is good. You also may want to elevate it, and rest it as much as possible.
Hot and yucky here too. I am exhausted!
    Have a good night everyone.

    Hi
Today I am at 7K Steps + 10 cents, I will be higher as I need to load the car for a trip to the recycle yard.

I have been listening to the Old Time Radio show called Escape.
Today's weather it was 80 degrees out the door and high humidity, Well 79.7 Degrees is close enough to 80 for me, It is supposed to go up to 95+ later on today.

    Have a Great Saturday
    Roger

    Hi Vix
1st things first, I'm now home from the Recycle center, bank, Produce store, Dollar Store, & Post Office and up to 8500 steps. I did not go as far as usual this morning on my walk due to the heat & humidity and the plan to go do the running too.

I hope the County fair is good :)

    Have a Nice Weekend

    Good morning;
My knee only hurts when I go up and down stairs. I have been icing it and taking ibuprofen. I worked overnight, so I am off now until Tuesday.
Roger-Wow, you were busy this morning. :)
    Vix-Enjoy the county fair.
Irene-I hope you are feeling a little better every day.
Only thing on my agenda today is going to Ocean State Job Lot to return an audio book. We already had it.
I may check out some second hand stores. I am looking for a twin headboard for the spare room.
It is a little cooler today, currently 75 and overcast.
    Enjoy your Saturday! :)

Hi all...it's yucky hot here (95 or there abouts). I went to the fair, but didn't stay long. There didn't seem to be as much art as last year, though there were some nice pieces. There was some really nice woodwork, and of course needle crafts, and home crafts (canning and baking). Just walked by the animal barns on the way out....too hot and smelly to linger. Skipped the produce area. Basically staying in the air conditioning today.
Jo, glad you get some time off....enjoy!
Roger, if the weather's like here.....no....not a good day for being outside.
Hope you're feeling better day by day, Irene.
    Have a great weekend everyone.

    Hi Joanne
    Whee, Off until Tuesday :)

I have done that too with books, I usually can not be bothered to return them as It means paying shipping back to the vendor which would wipe out a lot of return fee. I figure it serves me right for forgetting to check the bookcases first :)

You are lucky it is that cool. Our overnight lows will finally be in the 70s for the upcoming week.

    Cheers

I agree with the Yucky part, at this point I do not even feel like going out to turn off the drip hoses that have now been dripping away 2 3/4 hours :)

Our weather has also been in the mid 90s and very humid and will be that way today too.

    Hi
Today is 8K Steps done, It was a whopping 78 degrees out the door and a reported lower humidity. That means a giant :) 4 degrees cooler than yesterday.

I am still listening to the Old Time Radio show called Escape. I think it is nearing time to look at the Old Time Radio shows I downloaded from the Public Domain site and decide what to prepare to Sync with the iPod when I go to charge it next time. Maybe a Western or two, Hmmm there is an idea, Make a set of one episode show samples to listen too. Toss in other categories and see what strikes my fancy for longer term listening :)

As I was sitting down to Dinner last night I glanced at the Living Room window and the rain was hitting it hard enough that I could almost see through it.

I figure I brought that on as I watered the plants yesterday in the morning.

    Have a Great Week

We have had thunder storms 2 nights in a row. I am starting to see green lawn again.
We still haven't caught the skunk. :(
I see I forgot to hit reply yesterday when I wrote my post.
I did find a headboard on Saturday. It is a Hitchcock in excellent condition and I only paid $10.00 for it.
Today my mission is to get a box spring and mattress for it.
Enjoy your day and stay cool! :)

    Hi
Today is 8K+ Steps done, It was 80 degrees out the door and higher humidity.

No to much to say today, tomorrow is market day, 10% Senior Discount Day. Most likely some Bananas and other fruit. My Brother kindly Hard Boiled a Dozen Eggs yesterday so they will be some of my proteins in the upcoming period. I do need to use up the open package of Ham since once You open them they do not stay good that long. I find that with any lunch-meats, including Deli Sliced to order meats. That will be 70 calories of protein and a a 60 Calorie Wrap and some light Mayo + No Sugar Added Sweet relish as a sandwich. I am undecided whether to buy another dozen of the Jumbo Eggs since they are only 79 cents - 10% tomorrow. And the use by dates are good.

    Have a Great Week

    Hi Joanne
I was wondering if the trap had small openings that something like a mouse could get in and out of after eating the bait?

Baiting a Mouse Trap with Peanut butter placed inside will tell that if You do not mind killing them. I had left a couple of mouse traps baited with Peanut Butter in the suspended ceiling and a year later caught a mouse. I do not feel bad about that either as I do not want them in the house!

    Good Luck, Stay Cool

    Hi Vix
It is more humid and less warm, according to the weather report that makes today's THI the same as yesterdays. FWIW I prefer the older Temperature Humidity Index to what they seem to be using today where the say Feels like....

I have been turning on the Living Room AC while I eat my Banana before I get ready to go walking so as to come home to a cooler environment :)

Back when I was driving for a living I used to run into Thunderstorms and then when they passed the temps would go right back up and You could see the water steaming off of eh surface.

Some of those critters can be very smart.

    Have a Nice Evening

    Hi
Today is 7.8K Steps + 36 cents found in two locations, It was 77 degrees out the door and a reported lower humidity. There was A Loud Thunderstorm rolled through around 12:45 last night, I know that since it made so much noise it woke me up.

While I was walking I stopped at the grocery Store and bought 4 Bananas and 2 Plums and saved 10% for the Senior Discount :)
Next Item on my Agenda is Breakfast around 9AM then....

In a while around 9:30 I will head back out the door to CostCo for several bags of Frozen Vegetables and a tray of whatever Apples look best. The Ones I got at the Produce Store recently looked OK when I bought them, the next day the bruising showed up :( and the texture is somewhat mealy, Darn it.

I caught a squirrel in the trap today, so I now know it is working correctly.

    Hi
Today I did 9.2k Steps + 25cents found at the three block location on the outbound, It was 75 degrees out the door and a reported lower humidity. There were signs of a light rain overnight. Before I had gone 5 blocks it started to drizzle then just after the turnaround point on the route back to the house I needed to put up the umbrella :(
Luckily I had it with me having watched the early morning weather report before heading out so I put the small folding one in my pocket just in case :)

Next Item on my Agenda is Breakfast around the 9AM to 9:30 point then take the laundry out of the washer that I started before I came here and put it into the dryer. Some dummy forgot to turn on the AC in the Living room to cool off the Main Floor AKA the Ground Floor ;) So here I am in the basement using the Video Work computer until later when it cools off up there.

I did go to CostCo and buy 3 bags of Frozen Vegetables, a 18 pack of the Light & Fit Greek Yogurt and a tray of Link Lady Apples as they are tasty and were reasonably priced.

    Have a Great Thursday
    Roger
